The Happy Everyday movement began in New York City in 1999, serving a diverse population of music producers, DJ's, dancers, and entertainers.

Dr. Papadopoulos' first name Efthemia means a cheerful and pleasant person and she values learning so Happy Everyday was incorporated with the mission to educate.

Happy means being thankful, present, and aware at least once an hour, every waking hour. Aside from a Master of Science degree in statistics, having studied Artificial Intelligence in 2001, Dr. Pop slowed down her career in music to pursue science. She then served a premiere video game publisher, which was financially doing better in entertainment than music and film combined. As a nerd behind the scenes in entertainment, Dr. Pop had fun playing beach volleyball and finishing up her dissertation. Today, she is working on the Sports Herstory project to raise awareness about females in competition, their period, and fertility because that is ethos, the spirit of our times.
