Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, little dreamers. I am Sarah, and today's magical tale
is called The Miser and his Gold. Are you ready?
Let's begin. Once upon a time, in a little village,
there was a man who was known to everyone as
the Miser. This man loved gold more than anything else

(00:20):
in the world. He didn't like to spend his money
and would save up every single coin he could find.
Instead of using his gold to buy nice things or
share with others, he hid it in a secret spot
in his garden. Every day, the Miser would sneak out
to the garden, carefully dig up his treasure and count

(00:44):
each piece of gold. He would smile and feel very
happy just looking at his shiny coins, But after counting,
he would bury the gold again and cover it up,
hoping that no one would ever find it. One day,
a curious passer by noticed the Miser's strange behavior. He

(01:06):
watched the Miser dig up the gold and then hide
it again. When the Miser went back inside his house,
the passer by crept into the garden, dug up the treasure,
and ran away with all the gold. The next morning,
when the Miser went to check on his gold, he
found nothing but an empty hole. He cried and cried,

(01:30):
feeling very sad that his precious treasure was gone. Hearing
his cries, a neighbor came over to see what had happened.
The miser told him about the stolen gold, and the
neighbor said, why are you so upset? You never used
the gold for anything. You might as well have buried

(01:51):
stones instead. If you never used your gold, it was
of no use to you, and now it's of no
use to any one. The miser realized that his gold
had brought him no joy because he never used it
or shared it. He learned that keeping things all to
yourself without enjoying them or sharing with others doesn't make

(02:15):
you happy. True happiness comes from using what you have
to bring joy to yourself and to others. And that's
the end of the day's tale, my little adventurers. I
hope you enjoyed the story. If you did, be sure
to follow or subscribe. You can also leave a review

(02:37):
or share with friends who love stories too.
