Hallo, little dreamers. I'm Sarah, and to day's magical tail
is called the Oak and the reed. Are you ready?
Let's begin. Once upon a time in a peaceful meadow
there stood a tall and mighty oak tree. This oak
was big and strong, with its branches stretching proudly to

(00:21):
touch the sky. Near the oak by a gentle stream
grew a patch of slender reeds. These reeds were much
smaller and swayed easily with the breeze. The oak tree
often watched the reeds and couldn't help but boast about
its own strength. Look at me, the oak said, in

(00:44):
a deep, booming voice. I am so strong and powerful.
No wind can knock me down. But you little reeds,
you bend and sway with the slightest breeze. The reeds,
though small and humble, simply not and went about their day,
moving gracefully with the wind. They didn't mind the oak's

(01:06):
proud words. One day, a fierce storm rolled in, bringing
with it wild winds and heavy rain. The oak tree
stood tall and firm, determined to resist the storm's power.
But as the winds grew stronger, the oak found it
harder to hold its ground. It creaked and groaned, struggling

against the mighty gusts. The reeds, on the other hand,
bent low with the wind, almost touching the ground, but
they did not break. They moved with the storm, letting
it pass over them. Suddenly, a huge gust of wind
came rushing through the meadow. The oak, unable to bend,

stood rigid and strong, but the power of the wind
was too much. With a loud crack, the oak's roots
gave way, and down it came, crashing to the ground.
When the storm had passed, the reeds stood up straight again,
unharmed and as lively as ever. They looked at where

the oak once stood and whispered gently. Sometimes it's not
about being strong and unyielding, it's about knowing when to bend.
And so the meadow taught all who passed by that
day the importance of being flexible and adaptable. Just like
the reeds. Sometimes we need to bend with life's challenges

rather than stand stubbornly against them. And that's the end
