Our guest, Kevin Schwab, vice president, Public Policy and Government Relations at CenterState CEO joins us to share what businesses need to know and do to meet the state’s goals to have 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
Kevin Schwab is vice president of public policy and government relations, as well as Senior Aviation Industry Advisor for CenterState CEO, the Syracuse region’s leading business and economic development organization. His diverse career includes work as an award-winning journalist, service in state government, consultation to the aviation industry and, currently, work in economic development with a focus on public policy.
Mr. Schwab is a member of the board of directors at the Central New York Community Foundation, the Syracuse Metropolitan Transportation Council, the Syracuse Say Yes to Education Scholarship Council and is Co-chair of the Literacy Coalition of Onondaga County. Mr. Schwab holds degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish from Syracuse University. He is a native of Washington, DC, and resides in Syracuse with his wife and three children.
