Ah, the dreaded split challenge/double Tribal Council. Yet another feature of the new era that needs to go. But this turned out to be a good result, all things considered. Some decent drama and two interesting votes. About all you can ask for!
Plus a new segment from Matt, called Things I Liked, injecting a little more positivity into the coverage!
And as always we finish with some Australian Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Bro...
Best episode of the season! (Admittedly not a high bar to clear, but let's focus on the positives).
This episode had some much-needed messiness and drama, and hopefully that can keep going.

We're celebrating 100 episodes of Talking Llama! A bit of a bummer that we got another downer episode to mark such an occasion, but as always, we find a way to have some fun with it.

What a bummer of an episode. And not just because of the medevac. Just weak all around. Three episodes in and SURVIVOR 46 is on life support.

A boring 1st hour, followed by an exciting 2nd hour. Exciting in the sense that stuff actually happened. After the "controversy" a couple weeks ago of Probst saying they're no longer casting villains, were the actions by some players this week villainous, or simply them being jerks? And a fun side tangent about some of the (many) ways Australian Survivor is vastly outclassing US Survivor at the moment.

It's the SURVIVOR 46 premiere! And opinions here at Talking Llama are...shall we say...mixed. But one thing where there is no disagreement? We may have just witnessed the worst individual premiere performance in the show's history.

We cap off another season with a really solid finale. [ ] is a strong winner (no spoilers in case you see this before watching the episode!) and Jake cements himself as one of the biggest breakout characters, not just of recent seasons, but maybe ever. Easily the best season of the new era so far.

A disappointing end to what had been a great episode. We discuss the eliminated player's...interesting(?) decision and why it doesn't all add up. Really unfortunate that 2/4 votes have ended in a quit, but nonetheless the season is still good, and there's plenty of reason to be optimistic for the remaining stretch.
