In this episode of Talking Twenty,  Bridget and Mary-Margaret are joined by the highly successful and inspiring, Taylor Lindsay-Noel, the original pivot-er. While training as a gymnast for the 2012 olympics, Taylor suffered a life changing spinal cord injury which left her paralyzed from the chest down. At just 14 years old, she had to re-identify herself and use the strong mentality she had gained as a trained athlete, to completely adapt mentally, physically, emotionally and socially to a new life in a wheelchair. Taylor chats about her life before and after the accident.  We focus on what life is like as an adult who is paralyzed and how this has affected her independence, maintaining fitness, dating, pregnancy, motherhood, career and so much more.
