Ben Bowman is a seasoned broadcaster, fundraising guru, and a brilliant strategist reshaping digital fundraising through his career in content creation. Ben has driven the community at large to activate as fundraisers in the content creation, gaming, and esports industries. As his career grew, Ben wanted to do good, quickly saw how fundraising worked within the space, and decided to try something different. So in 2016, Ben gathered fellow content creators, pulled together a digital fundraising event, and $500,000 was raised for St. Jude Children’s Research hospital. From Ben’s want to do good, multiple charitable fundraising events arose throughout each year, activating over 400+ creators and earning over $17,00,000 for St. Jude since 2018. This year, Ben expanded his internal team as he passed the Charity Director torch off to Sam Lupo. Together, they continue to expand Digital fundraising efforts for charity. Not only is Ben a successful Twitch Partner, he also holds the role of Owner and Chief Strategy Officer for Rare drop. As Chief Strategy Officer, Ben lends his experience as a tenured Broadcaster and Twitch Content Creator towards building strategic solutions for the internal Rare Drop Team and their external client base and partners.
