Today we're going to be talkingabout time management.
I think that's very important,is one of the first lessons that
I learned with my businessmentor.
It's extremely important on howyou handle things when you're
going about your business orwhen you're going about your

business with partners, becauseif you're not handling your time
wisely, people pretty muchrecognize that.
So the first time managementlesson that I kind of want to
get into.
The first thing that I learnedabout time management was I went
to a my business mentor.

I had two handlers prior to himmentoring me, so my first
meeting with him as my mentor,after going through the handlers
, he sat me down and he lookeddead in my eyes, very serious,
and he said to me you know weboth have 24 hours in the day.
Why am I making so much moremoney than you?
(01:53):
And you know, as a man, youit's that that's a hard question
to answer.
It's something that you have totry to think about, but it's
really hard to think about onthe spot because you got to put
some thought into it.
So, in all honesty, the way Ianswered it was.
It was just an honest I don'tknow.
I didn't know.

And he looked right back at meand said you know, I tell you,
I'll tell you why.
Because your time managementsucks.
You're so focused on theservice industry that you can't
duplicate yourself.
Didn't dawn on me.
I didn't really understand whathe was talking about.
It was more I was kind ofrepairing my ego at that time,
but later on it truly dawned onme what he was saying, which

I'll be going over in thesepodcast episodes as we move on
further.
Each week I'll be doing a newone.
So first one, I'm just gonna gothrough my notes, because I've
been taking notes on timemanagement as I started doing
time management, what I dospecifically now.
This isn't going to resonatewith everyone.
I can't say that it is.
You know, after my mentor toldme about my time management and

how I handled it, I really hadto go about things in a
different manner.
I had to look at how I wasspending my time and who I was
spending my time with.
Right, because there's peopleout there that are time suckers.
I'm sure you guys know aboutthem, sure you guys have
encountered them.
They're the ones that comearound and they take your time,
and when you're done with them,you feel like you have spent all

of your energy.
It's like you have run amarathon and you're exhausted
when you haven't done anything.
Those types of people thank GodI don't attract that energy
around me anymore, but in yourgrowth phase, when you're
starting to grow as anentrepreneur, you go through
these phases and you attract.
Before you learn how to manifest, you attract things to you,

especially if you have apositive energy source, if you
have, if you have, if you'regood, if you have a good heart,
if you are focused on God, ifyou, if you're looking at the
better things in the world andyou're trying to better the
world, a lot of that time,that's an attractive energy to
come towards.
What happens, though, is what Ifound is when you mix your

energy, say it's like positiveenergy is what you've got, and
then you've got someone thatcomes to you that has that
vibrational disruption I guessyou could call it.
Your inside will tell you yourintuition is is going to, it's
going to go off.
Those are messages that youneed to listen to.

I cannot stress this enough.
When you're building and youget that feeling, when you that
red flag goes up or yourinternal vibration starts
pulsating at a rate that doesn'tfeel comfortable or that is
almost like a warning.
You need to pay attention tothat, because what's going to
happen is you're going to invitethat specific energy that's not

matched for you and you'regoing to invite them in, and
what's going to happen is goingto disrupt everything, literally
disrupt everything.
It's a wave that goes through.
So you've got to be careful ofthat when you're building,
especially if you attractcertain type of people you've.
You need to make sure you tellthe universe I don't want these
people around me.
These are the type of peoplethat I do want coming near me
(05:21):
and put a block up around you.
If you are sensing that thereis some type of disruptive
energy that's around you, justblock, block it out.
You have to do that as anentrepreneur.
It's just kind of like if youdon't want to deal with a
certain person, let's say at agrocery store, kind of block
them out, right.
Or if they're being weird orsome weird you know some crazies

out there you block them out.
So one thing that was veryclear to me when I was, you know
, after he told me about my timemanagement and getting it right
, and as I started growing withhim and learning how to manage
my time in a much, much wiserway, you start to realize that

the time that you're spendingduring the day.
So let me just use this for anexample.
Maybe some of you right now areentrepreneurs that have some
type of a service industry.
You provide a service tosomebody and there's a cost, of
course, associated with thatservice.
I'm going to use because I havea background in digital

marketing and SEO and AI andthat sort of thing algorithms.
I'm going to just use anexample and let's just say, a
digital digital marketing agency.
Let's just say you are adigital marketing agency.
That's what you have.
Now let's look at your day.
What are you doing with yourday?
Who you spending your time withon the phone?
(06:49):
Is it the local dentist thatyou're trying to get them in the
GMB local pack and try to getthem into the top three?
This is what I used to coin.
Is my kind of clientacquisition ratio.
What?
What type of client are youtargeting?
(07:09):
Or partner are you targetingfor their revenue share that's
coming in, that you're going tohave a piece of.
So let's say you have thatdigital marketing agency and
you're focused on that dentist,that you're your max, that you
can probably charge with adentist, that I would say.
(07:31):
Let's just say you know, it'slike maybe thirty five hundred
dollars a month, forty fivehundred dollars a month, maybe I
don't know, whatever, yeah,something, if that's what you're
offering, so you've got thatnow.
Yeah, okay, watch out that sameamount of time.
Right, it's the same amount oftime.
You're not getting one hourthat's going to be different
than another hour.

You're using that same time ofthe day.
So if you're focusing on thatdentist and trying to get them
into the GMB pack for that$4,500, there's another client
out there, that or person or apartner out there that's looking
for the services that you offer, let's say, as a digital
marketing agency.
That has a much higher budgetand is probably an easier target
(08:19):
within their niche.
It's just they have a muchhigher ticket, so if their
ticket is higher.
I will use luxury real estate asan example, because that's how
I grew my wealth when I wastargeting, let's say, the
dentist for that amount of$4,500,.
(08:40):
I started now focusing morewithin a luxury area to where
now, when my clients wereselling a $36 million home.
My cost made a hell of a lotmore sense and it was easier.
It was easier to swallow.
They went to bed at night happy.
They weren't worried aboutspending $50,000, $60,000,
whatever your cost may be.
They were not worried aboutspending that.

It just made sense.
Now that brings me into anotheraspect with your time and how
you're spending it.
What are you recognizing aboutyourself?
Okay, so my goal with thispodcast?
When I conjure up myimagination about how I see this

podcast going on, I envisionthat I have listeners such as
yourself or yourselves that havesome kind of idiosyncratic
value to them.
Everybody does.
I am no different than anybodyelse, but I have different
idiosyncratic values about me.
(09:48):
I'm a human being like anybodyelse, but there are some certain
specialties about me that Ihave to offer.
What I started to learn withinmy manifestation process with
this whole time management, whatI was doing with my time is
that if your idiosyncratic valuemy listeners each one of you
(10:09):
has one the minute that youlearn how to hone in on that
idiosyncratic value to acustomer or client or partner,
how you can now use that talent,that idiosyncratic value, to
help answer a question, to helpsolve a problem to help make
(10:31):
someone's world easier, if youmay.
The minute that you figure outwhat that is that you have about
you, that's when your world isgoing to open up.
That's when you're going to seekind of the sees part for
whatever you want.
I don't know how it works, Ijust know that it works.
(10:52):
I've done it many times overand over and over and over and
over and over again and it works.
You cannot, as an entrepreneur,go into a growth trajectory
thinking that you're going toget to this higher level and
earn all this amount of money ifyou're not solving a problem
(11:16):
for somebody, if you're notanswering a question that is
seriously has never beenanswered before.
Now you come through with this.
This isn't impossible, it's notdifficult, it's not hard.
It's just something that lieswithin you, that you have, that
you have to recognize that otherpeople they recognize as a
value, until you find thatyou're really going to be
(11:41):
running in this cyclical circleof trying to figure out what you
have to offer.
It's a frustrating cycle.
I've been there.
I think my business mentorreally validated everything for
me because I knew I hadsomething.
Maybe, like some of you do, youknow there's something there.
People say, oh my gosh, you'reso good at this, or you've
(12:04):
always done this, or ever sinceyou've been a kid you've been
able to do whatever.
That special talent.
You have to find that withinyourself.
What do you have?
Maybe you're a great artist andyou can pay attention to detail
and you could paint nails, butyou wouldn't leave it at
(12:27):
painting nails, at least in myworld.
Then I would start makinglittle.
Productize that because, again,this was my lesson on products.
You now have a product that youcan sell every hour of the day.
You're selling while you'resleeping.
When you have a serviceindustry, you've got to go to
bed.
It's only you.
You can't duplicate, like mymentor was telling me.
(12:50):
I can't duplicate myself.
There was no way for me toduplicate myself.
I had to systemize a processand then turn that into a
product, which took time.
Once you realize what you haveto offer, that's going to be a
massive day that changes yourlife and will help change other
(13:10):
people's lives too, becauseyou're going to be helping them
solve that problem.
One thing that I do want tomention to with this whole
episode about time management iswhen you're building and you've
got things going on, there'sgoing to be a lot of side tasks,
(13:33):
I guess you could say andprocrastination will set in.
It will set in, I can guaranteeyou 100%, it will set in.
So what you need to realize isthis procrastination is a
they're a renter in your mind,in your mental capacity, of what
(13:58):
you think about from day to day.
Procrastination is going to takeup some real estate if you
don't get those things done.
Because what happens is you mayhave something that you needed
to get done two, three monthsago, that you just put off, you
put off, you put off, but it'sstill renting this space in your
head.
It's still sitting there andtelling you oh Ferdinand, you
(14:21):
got to get this done, I got toget this done.
I've been pushing this off.
I'll get it done tomorrow, I'llget to it next week.
Let me wait till I get this.
There's going to be thisprocrastination that's going to
rent space in your mind and whathappens is you start to
deteriorate with yourdeteriorate with your
effectiveness because you've gotthat space that's already tied
down, that's already occupied.
(14:42):
You want to make sure that youtake care of those
procrastinations.

It's a battle, it's a
battle.

You're going to be
fighting it, but you got to take
care of it if you want to be asuccessful entrepreneur.
Now, when you do this and youtake care of that whole, let's
say, this procrastinationmonster that's coming at you,
that's telling you that youcan't do this, or you're going
to wait and do this, or let'snot do that.

It's going to be easier to justsit back and relax that monster
.
The minute you control that,what's going to happen is you're
going to see that your stresslevel starts to come down and
this helps to go into this wholework life balance and you can
balance things in a wholedifferent area.
It's almost like this growthspurt that you'll get when you
start taking these things outone by one.

But it really starts withunderstanding the capability of
what you have to offer, becausewhen you know that, and then you
know how to spend your time,who to spend your time with,
let's say that.
Let me give you another examplehere.
Let's say that you make thebest ice cream in the world.
(15:57):
You just make the best icecream.
You know how to make it lightand taste great and see
everybody when they put it intheir mouth.
It's just one of those.
It's an experience.
Now, would you go and spend yourtime trying to sell that to
lactose intolerant customers?
Really wouldn't work for you.
So it's all about how you spendyour time, and not only that.
(16:22):
Let's say you're spending yourtime Now, where are you spending
it at?
Right, right.
So are you spending it on smallmoney?
And if this is your goal, thatI'm not going to hate on anybody
here.
If that's your goal to make asmaller amount because of course
there is more money, moreproblems that's honestly got
true statement.
But if you're trying to make asmaller amount of money, hey,
(16:45):
I'm not going to hate on that,that's fine.
But you got to remember whatyou ask for and what you put out
there, what you want.
So what you're saying in yourhead out there wow, this is what
I have to offer, this is myspecialty, this is my
idiosyncratic value that I'mgoing to push out there, what
now is going to be your worth,that you're telling the universe
(17:06):
, what's your value, that youhave told the universe for your
time, for your special skillthat you have.
And I think people get reallymixed up with this whole.
What you want, what you'reputting out there.
I think people limit themselves.
(17:28):
I knew my number when I was nineyears old.
I knew what I want.
I knew a number.
It sounded crazy.
It sounded crazy.
Nobody I knew had those numbers.
But I knew in my head that'swhat I was shooting for.
And you've got to tell theuniverse.
You know, I have some friendsthat they'll go and they'll.
(17:50):
It's the asking.
Oh, I go in my room and I prayand I'm asking for this to
happen.
I'm asking Personally.
That's fine and, danny, great,you can ask for everything you
want, but it's not going to work.
It doesn't work that way in theuniverse.
It's not how it works.
It's not how it works.
The way it works is you claimit.

You've got to claim it.
If you know something is meantfor you, you've got to claim it.
How else are you going to getit?
You can't go out there and askthat doesn't work.
You've got to tell the universethis is mine.
You've got to know what itsmells like.
You've got to know what ittastes like.
You've got to know what itfeels like.
You've got to know what theexperience is like.
(18:37):
Every single aspect of what youwant, the number, the specific
number.
You can't say you want $100million.
Is that it Just $100 million?
What do you want that money tobe loaded in?
Is it going to be a Chaseaccount?
Is it going to be a Bank ofAmerica account?
(18:58):
Is it going to be a businesschecking?
Is it going to be a personalchecking?
Is it going to come in from adividend?
Is it going to be coming infrom a lot of, let's say,
subscriptions that you'reselling?
You have got to get specificwith what you want in this world
or you will never get anything.
I cannot stress that enough.
I have been through this somany times that when I was not
(19:21):
specific, I got the runoffbecause the universe didn't know
what to give me.
The minute I got specific andthe minute I started saying this
is mine, that's mine.
I got that, that's mine.
I know that that's mine.
It opened up, it was nodifferent.
The same amount of time that'swhat I'm telling, I'm trying to
tell you guys.
It's the same amount of time.
(19:42):
Same amount of time that you'regoing to put into something
that you say, oh, let me gomeditate for a bit to get over
this situation that made meangry.
That same amount of time can befocused on getting to another
level.
You've got to just focus on itand tell the universe what you
want.
I know it may sound all crazyand this and that, and people
are like, yeah, yeah, I've triedthat.
(20:03):
Maybe you have tried it, maybeI don't know, because I don't
know what you've tried.
I know that I'm not anybodyspecial.
I know that I have a past, thata lot of people doubted me that
I'd even get to certain levelsthat I've gotten to.
They never even thought theywished I wouldn't get to these
(20:24):
certain levels.
But that fueled me.
That gave me everything Ineeded to get to where I'm at
today, loved it.
It gave me that fire.
But I knew what my ability was.
I knew what the universe had tooffer and I knew that I had to
claim it.
I stopped asking for stuff,probably in my 20s I'm almost 50
.
I started, I stopped and Istarted claiming, claiming
(20:51):
numbers, writing them down,making it manifest, come into
fruition.
But I will tell you that it hasworked for me 100% of the time.
It has worked for me.
One thing I want to go into nowjust a bit is when you make your
mistakes with time management,because that's going to happen.
It's going to happen.
(21:11):
I've made plenty of mistakes,numerous mistakes.
You just have to reanalyze whatthey are and change.
So when I was being mentored,one key rule that we had within
our organization my mentor'sorganization, because I became a
(21:34):
partner with them later on withthe smell neutralization
product that we had that we kindof scaled out.
But one thing that I realizedis they went by a set of rules
that never got broken, becauseif they got broken it messed up
everything.
So when I sat down with mymentor for the first time when I
was at a dinner, when we couldgo to a dinner, he took me to a
(21:59):
capital grill in Costa Mesa andwe were just sitting there, we
were just kind of talking,shooting the shit.
Right before we were going tohave some dinner, the waiter
comes over and asked if you wantanything to drink and all that.
I just don't drink.
That's never been my thing, Idon't drink.
So I didn't know that I wasbeing watched or how I handled
things was being kind ofobserved.
(22:19):
I didn't know this, since I wasjust there for dinner.
I thought so we go to thedinner.
This is the dinner that Iactually begged him to teach me
what he knew.
And then, about two weeks later,we were in a discussion and he
was telling me he goes.
I just wanted to thank you.
When we were at dinner theother night and I was like, okay
(22:40):
, thank me for what.
He was like, I just want tothank you for not drinking.
And I was like, okay, I just,you know, I don't drink, that's
not my thing.
And he said, well, that's good.
Now I want you guys to listen tothis.
This is an interesting facthere.
(23:00):
This is how these billionairesmold their lives and how they
look at things.
Now just listen to these words,because this hit me heavy.
It's really hit me heavy.
He said if you would have beendrinking that night when we had
dinner, I would have got up andwalked.
He goes I need you here andwhen you're drinking, you're not
(23:23):
here.
Think about that.
I want you to think about thatfor a minute, because I've been
at tables before negotiationswere being made and because
people were drinking, things gotout of hand and things didn't
get done, or someone thoughtthat they didn't say something
(23:45):
that they did.
That's not good in anentrepreneurial world,
especially when contracts are onthe line and there is money
that's supposed to be made andthings were taken out of context
because of some alcohol.
Not only that.
(24:06):
I just want you all to thinkyou really only get one chance
to make a first impression,right?
If you're building your wealth,do you want I'm thinking of it
in my situation if you'resitting across from somebody
that's got more than you, thathas more than you, that you
(24:28):
admire, that you would like tolearn from, do you want to show
that person that the minute yousit down and you have some free
time and it's kind of like let'stake off the jacket and let's
chew the fat a little bit, doyou want them to see that going
(24:48):
for alcohol is what helps youkind of release everything?
I'm sorry that just does In myworld.
I don't like that because ofwhat he said.
When you do that, when youdrink, you're not here.
You're not here, you're outthere.
Everybody knows what it's likewhen you drink.

That was a very, very, veryimportant lesson.
Now, did I listen to that Oneinstance?
No, I did not.
I did not.
I got involved with a groupbecause I thought they were cool
.
I liked them.
It's stupid shit, man.
You just don't do that.
(25:30):
Just because someone's cool oryou like them or whatever.
That doesn't mean you need todo business with them.
I learned my lesson the hard way, a really hard lesson, the hard
way, which I'll go into inanother episode because it's a
long story, but it was aseven-figure loss.
What I learned in that time waseverything that my mentor was
(26:01):
telling me, everything that Ihad learned.
Those red flags and the littlethings that he was telling me
were exactly what this guy wasdoing.
We'd go out, we'd meet and he'dthrow back some Patron.
That was his thing.
I loved his Patron, this andthat it was all the time.
It was always drinking, it wasalways drinking.
And I got to tell you thatrelationship and that time that
(26:29):
I spent, that time managementthat I spent.
I failed miserably.
In that Miserably, I failedmyself.
Number one all that work that Ihad done, everything that I had
learned, everything that I hadgone through learning, begging
to learn, and then, because Ithought someone was cooler, I
(26:52):
wanted to be around them, Idecided to throw that away or
just push it to the side.
Number one mistake.
Number two mistake you see thatred flag come up.
You're going to see it.
You're going to see it in yourentrepreneur game and as you
build your wealth and as youbuild your portfolio, you are
going to see the flags come up.
(27:13):
You're going to see them.
Whether you ignore them orwhether you do something about
them is going to determine theoutcome of that situation.
My outcome was bad.
I lost everything.
I lost everything House, cars,everything we had gone lost
(27:42):
because of bad decision makingprocess.
I can remember, I remember.
I don't forget.
Those are moments that you gothrough that you don't forget.
You want to keep them easilyaccessible because it's painful
(28:04):
when you go through them,extremely painful.
I hurt my family, I hurt my son, I hurt my parents.
I hurt so many people goingthrough that with not like you
did anything physically to them.
That's not what I'm talkingabout, but the disappointment,
the you know.
I had to ask to borrow money toget back up on my feet and we
(28:27):
had to move and all thatcraziness, and you know it's a
very difficult thing to gothrough and the rebuilding
process was extremely hard.
My wife tells me, for 90 days90 days I didn't talk to her.
Now, I don't remember this, noclue.
(28:49):
Don't remember.
I just remember I had torebuild.
I had to take one step in frontof the other and I had to get
out of this mopey feeling and Ihad to do what I had to do to
get back to where I was, and itsucked.
However, I got it done.
So it can be done.
And when I got back, everythingchanged.
(29:11):
Everything changed because thenyou see what you can handle and
nothing scares you after that.
No loss scares you.
However, I did diversify a lotafter that.
I diversified like crazy afterthat because I remember one
(29:31):
thing that my mentor said.
I do remember when he said to me, when he said, when he was
telling me he goes, you know,you're so focused on the service
industry, you can't duplicateyourself.
He says I have 2000,.
He says I have over 2000products.
If one of these products failsI can wipe my ass with it
because I have the other to fallback on.
(29:52):
Exact words, and it's very,very true.
And that whole conversation.
That didn't dawn on me untilfour years later.
Right, I didn't understand whatthat meant.
(30:12):
One day, I remember.
I remember one day that I wassitting there and it hit.
It was like this like the lightbulb went off and I was like
that's what he was talking about.
That's, he was talking aboutproducts.
(30:35):
I need products.
Little did I.
Okay, so this is how.
So when you're starting tomanage your time and you're
starting to realize what time isand how to take advantage of it
and how to manifest things andhow to have things kind of go
your way, this is how kind ofblind I was to how things were
(30:57):
going on.
I had a product with mybusiness mentor.
When we became partners it wasabout a year, 18 months
afterwards we partnered on asmell neutralization product and
we scaled that out across theboard and did some relationships
and contracts with somecannabis nutrient companies, so
(31:23):
anyhow, and put it into thingsfor like Patriot Packs and for
veterans and all.
We did a lot of things with it.
So I had at that time one, two,three.
I had four different productsOne, two, three.

I had four different products.
At that time, when he had justtold me about product industry
G'dayla Service and productindustry he had just said that
maybe six months to a year priorand it still wasn't clicking.
I'm going through all thecontracts and we're meeting with

, like gosh, what's that placecalled in the mall that
Spencer's?
And there was another one thatwe were meeting with to get
shelf space for the bottles.
I'm sitting there that wholetime, that whole think about it.
(32:25):
Now it's like my gosh, are youkidding me?
That whole time I had thoseproducts and I didn't know what
I had.
It had no clue.
It didn't dawn on me to like Isaid four or five years later
and I'm sitting there and I'mlike, oh, my gosh, my partner,
because I have another partner,I have many partners, but one of
my main partners that I prettymuch do everything with.
I looked at it and I'm likedude, we got like 300 products.

We didn't even we're not evenreal when it dawned, it clicked
and then next thing, you know,it was like the C parted and
like I don't know how to explainthis but the minute that you
experience it, it's almost likeit's like the weight gets lifted

off your shoulders.
You see the colors, the colorsthat you are looking at like
when you go outside.
They're brighter and they'remore vibrant.
I don't know how to explainthis.
It's.
They're vibrant.
When you put your mind tosomething, to do something, and

it's got that intent behind it,it happens.
It doesn't.
Now don't think that there'ssome magic bean that you plant
into the ground.
You got some bean stock thatgoes all the way and you climb
it and magically you've got likeleprechauns and gold.
It's not like that.
Things come together and theenergy that you, like we were I
was talking about earlier yourenergetic field, when it's a

good, positive energetic field,you're giving back, you're doing
things for people.
You're actually.
You know you're.
You're a good soul.
Other good souls will find youand there's crap loads of money
out there.
All we want to do is get withother like-minded souls so that
we can change the world.

When that turned, I think atleast in my world, it went into
the world of just.
It was abundance of everything,everything, share.

I don't think that's whathappened.
There was a massive shift and Iwas.
I know because I was in it, Iwas doing it, I was building and
I know from when things happen.
When you're building, thingsdon't happen that fast.

fast.
It's not that rare, but somethings can happen fast.
But you got to remember there'sa lot of things that go into
you know, when you're doinglarge transactions, there's a
lot that goes into it.
It's not like you just are like, hey, you get an email and all
of a sudden your life changed.
No, you've got attorneys,you've got CPA.

Like things change.
You've got managers at the bank, where you've got to change
accounts and you've got to getcorporations and you've got to
get trust.
All of these things changebecause tax brackets change.
So it doesn't come fast.
That's all I'm trying to say.
It doesn't happen fast.
The minute that CERN happened,shit just popped.

I'm not.
I don't know what the hellhappened, but everything in our
world just went like abundancejust flowed in on every single
avenue.
It was crazy, and it still is.
It still is.
It's the most amazing feelingand that's what I want to share
because, again, I am nobodydifferent.
I'm no different than anybodyhere.

My goal is to try to teach thisto you and again, I'm not for
everybody.
I'm not for everybody.

That wasn't how it worked.

billionaire to change my lifeand change my family's life and
change my son's life, becausebefore this, I had no clue about
generational wealth.
I had no clue.
Four weeks ago, I signed acontract that just actually
added more to generationalwealth to not my son and not my

son's son, but to his son's son.
It goes that deep because whenyou start dealing with wealth,
you're going to meet people thatare so smart that they think
about generations down the lineand they know certain numbers or
they know how much you're goingto need for that generation

Very interesting people,amazing people that you're going
to meet because you grow andyou learn, and some of these
things I never knew.
We were even out there until Iexperienced them with these
people.
