Speaker 0 (00:00):
You suck at being
consistent because no one ever
taught you how to be consistent, but it's not your fault.
Everywhere on social media, people are telling you need to
be consistent with this and thatand this and that, but no one
ever explains to you how to beconsistent.
But today I want to change that.
Today I'm going to teach youthe five things you need in
order to be consistent.
These are the five differentthings that I implemented into
(00:21):
my life and that I teach to myclients so they can not only see
results, but they can also seesustainable results because
they're able to be consistentthrough every phase of their
life.
So let's dive in.
One of the most important thingswith consistency is realizing.
It's just like any skill youlearn.
You have to start small, justlike driving a car.
You're not going to immediatelygo on the freeway when you
(00:42):
start driving a car.
You start in a neighborhood.
After you get good in aneighborhood, then you can start
driving on the streets.
Then, once you have a littlemore skill, you're a little more
comfortable.
Then you can go onto thefreeway.
One of the biggest mistakespeople make with being
consistent is they try changingand doing too many things all at
once.
So start with one small, simplething that you can accomplish
and be consistent with doingthat simple thing.
(01:03):
The next thing you need to dois assume you'll never be
motivated.
Assuming you'll never bemotivated will be extremely
helpful, because then you'll bemindful of these habits, because
you'll realize if I'm notmotivated, can I still do this?
Compare it to brushing yourteeth.
You're never motivated to gobrush your teeth, yet you do it
anyways.
Make the habits that you chooseto be consistent with things
(01:26):
that you will do, despite howmotivated or unmotivated you may
be.
This one might be really hardfor you, overachievers, but I
want you to only add one newhabit a month.
Think about it like this If youadd 12 habits that you can
actually stick to over an entireyear, this is gonna completely
change who you are.
Just so you know, changing justone habit can completely change
(01:47):
your life.
So you don't even need 12.
But at most, I want you to onlyadd one every month.
Remember, our goal is to do theleast amount of work to elicit
the most change.
So if we can find the one habitthat's going to have the
greatest impact on our results, maybe it's getting enough steps
in, maybe it's hitting a proteinintake.
Maybe it's tracking your food.
By the way, if you have a hardtime tracking all your food,
(02:09):
maybe for you you just need tostart tracking just your protein
or just writing it down.
These things can help with theawareness of the foods that
you're putting in your body.
It could be so simple.
Don't overcomplicate it Up tothis point.
If you've gotten any value fromthis, make sure you go
subscribe on whatever platformyou're listening to this on.
Next, instead of changing yourlife to fit your new habits,
(02:30):
change your habits to fit intoyour lifestyle.
For example, what I want you todo is, every time you go into
work, just park a little bitfurther, so that way you're
unintentionally getting a littlebit more steps every day.
That's one way of implementinghabits into your lifestyle.
You are already going to work, you are already going to park
your car and walk into theoffice, so instead of parking
(02:50):
right next to the door so youcan just go right inside because
you're probably running late, instead what I want you to do is
show up a little earlier, parka little further and get a
couple more steps.
This can add up and make a hugedifference in your results.
Lastly this one might go againsteverything you believe, but
what you need to do is startwhen you're busy.
It's inevitable Life will getbusy and hard over and over and
(03:11):
over again.
And here's the problem If youstart when life is easy, when
life gets hard, you're morelikely to fall off track and
quit.
But if you start when life isbusy, when life is difficult,
you already know how to do thesethings when life is hard.
So when life gets hard again, you don't give up.
You know exactly what you needto do to stay on track.
So start when life is busy.
(03:31):
So these are the five thingsyou need to do if you want to
learn how to be consistent andif you're still having a hard
time with being consistent oryou want someone's help to make
sure you can be consistent, stayon track and have someone to
hold you accountable, becauseaccountability is that one
missing puzzle piece for somepeople that helps them stay on
track.
Dm me the word consistency onInstagram.
(03:52):
We'll have a short conversationto see if you're a good fit and
we can get you started rightaway.
That being said, I hope youhave the best day of your entire
life and I'll catch you on thenext one.
Peace.
