On January 13, 1996, nine-year-old Amber Hagerman was riding her bicycle near her grandparents' home in Arlington, Texas. She was abducted in broad daylight by an unknown man driving a dark pickup truck. A neighbor witnessed the kidnapping and immediately called the police, triggering a massive search effort.

The investigation into Amber’s murder faced numerous challenges. Although there were multiple leads and potential suspects, no arrests were ever made, and the case remains unsolved. The lack of a conclusive resolution has haunted her family and the Arlington community for decades.
