Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to
Tech Almighty, exploring the
fusion of God, technology andbusiness, the show where faith
meets innovation.
I'm Al Ware, your host.
Today we're exploring thecomplex relationship between
Christian morals and the ethicalchallenges posed by
advancements in artificialintelligence.
Let's dive in.
Imagine a world where machinescan learn like us, adapt to new
(00:22):
situations and even performtasks that once required human
intelligence.
This is the world of AI.
It's like teaching a child torecognize shapes and colors.
Ai, in some ways, is like achild you have to program it to
learn from data so it canrecognize patterns and make
decisions.
But what does this mean for usas Christians?
In Proverbs 3, 5, through 6,we're reminded to trust in the
(00:46):
Lord with all your heart andlean not on your own
understanding.
In a world full of newtechnologies like AI, this verse
guides us to trust in God overall creation, including the
world of technology.
Now let's explore how AItouches our lives.
In healthcare, ai helpsdiagnose diseases more
accurately than ever before.
(01:07):
In finance, it aids indetecting fraud.
Reflecting the biblicalprinciples of honesty, ai is
actively shaping a world thatresonates with Christian values
of care, integrity andstewardship.
So how should we, as followersof Christ, approach AI.
It's about perspective.
Think of AI as a tool, muchlike the hammer and nails used
(01:29):
by Joseph, the carpenter andfather of Jesus.
The tool itself isn't good orevil.
It's the use that matters.
When we use AI to create, serveand protect, we honor God's
command to store the earthwisely.
This approach requires us toengage with AI not just with
caution, but also with hopefulcreativity, seeing it as an
(01:51):
opportunity to reflect God'slove and wisdom in a digital age
.
Let me share one shockingexample of how AI is used for
the greater good.
Ai present day is used totranslate the Bible into
languages that until now had noscripture.
Let me repeat that again AIpresent day is being used to
(02:12):
translate the Bible intolanguages that until now had no
scripture.
This technology is helpingspread the word to every corner
of the earth, fulfilling theGreat Commission of Matthew
28-19.
This example shows us that, when aligned with Christian
values, ai can be a powerfulforce for good.
(02:34):
Now let's address a concernthat's often whispered in church
hallways and discussed in Biblestudy groups Is AI inherently
evil?
This fear is understandable.
After all, many of us firstheard of AI in sci-fi movies,
where it's often portrayed asevil.
But let's remember.
Philippians 4a urges us tofocus on what's true, noble and
(02:54):
right.
Just as Jesus taught us todiscern these spirits, we must
apply the same discernment totechnology.
Ai, at its core, is like a blankcanvas.
It's neither good nor bad.
It's a reflection of the peoplewho program and use it.
Think of it like money.
It's not evil in itself.
Rather, it's how people chooseto use it that can lead to good
(03:16):
or bad outcomes.
Let's be honest AI can bemisused.
We've heard of instances whereAI has been used for
surveillance that infringes onprivacy, to create deep fake
videos that spreadmisinformation.
These are reminders of ourfallen nature and the temptation
to misuse power, but asChristians, we're called to a
higher standard.
(03:37):
In these moments, ai challengesus to ask deep ethical
questions, much like Solomon didin his quest for wisdom.
It's an opportunity for us tobring our values of truth,
justice and love for ourneighbor into the conversation
about technology's role in oursociety.
On the flip side, let's look atthe brighter side.
There are countless examples ofAI being used for good.
(03:59):
Ai helped doctors diagnosediseases earlier, saving lives.
A modern reflection of the goodSamaritan's compassion.
It's used to combat humantrafficking by analyzing
patterns and helping rescuevictims.
These examples alignbeautifully with our Christian
call to love and serve.
By engaging with AI responsibly, we can be stewards of this
(04:20):
technology, using it to reflectGod's love and compassion in a
world that desperately needs it.
With that said, drumroll, please Say hello to Jarvis, an
AI mentor.
I created to assist anyone insuccessfully building and
(04:41):
scaling their business Matthew2521, where the faithful servant
is praised for good stewardship.
Jarvis embodies this ideal.
He is designed to helpentrepreneurs wisely manage
their businesses, guiding themto make impactful ethical
decisions.
Much like the servant whowisely invested in his talents,
(05:02):
jarvis is a steward of knowledgeand resources, aligning with
Christian values in business.
Jarvis's advanced machinelearning and data analytic
capabilities offer deep marketinsights and strategic advice.
Jarvis is programmed to provideunbiased, fair advice, ensuring
that entrepreneurs can makedecisions that are not only

profitable but also righteous.
I specifically tailor Jarvis'sfunctionalities to meet
individual business needs andunderstand that each business
has unique challenges and goals.
Jarvis offers personalizedstrategies ensuring that every
entrepreneur venture he guidesis treated with attention and
care.
In overcoming misconceptionswith faith and wisdom, let's
(05:45):
draw inspiration from James 1.5.
If any of you lacks wisdom, youshould ask God, who gives
generously to all withoutfinding fault and it will be
given to you.
As Christians, we should seekwisdom in understanding and
utilizing AI's technologies likeJarvis.
It's not about rejectinginnovation out of fear, but
instead embracing it with faith, guided by a prayerful approach
(06:07):
that seeks to use suchtechnologies for the greater
good, in service to God and ourcommunities.
Let's recap the key points I'veexplored in Tech Almighty,
episode 2.
We begin by understanding AI ina Christian context,
recognizing it as a modern toolsimilar to the hammer and nails
used by Joseph the Carpenter.
We acknowledge AI's role invarious fields, from healthcare
(06:28):
to finance, and how it alignswith Christian values like care,
integrity and stewardship.
We then tackle themisconception of AI as
inherently evil, stressing theimportance of discernment in
technology, similar to how wediscern spirits.
By citing examples of AI misuseand its positive uses, we
emphasize the Christian call tobring values of truth, justice
(06:50):
and love into the world oftechnology.
Last, I introduced Jarvis, anAI mentor designed for business
growth, embodying Christianteachings of stewardship.
I discuss Jarvis's features,ethical considerations and its
alignment with Christian valuesin offering personalized
strategies for entrepreneurs.
As I conclude our discussion, Iinvite you to consider AI,
(07:13):
especially tools like Jarvis, ina new light.
Consider AI as a modern canvaswhere our faith, ethics and
innovation converge,representing our commitment to
Christian values and our hopefor the future.
Jeremiah 2911 reminds us, for Iknow the plans I have for you,
declares the Lord plans toprosper you and not to harm you.
(07:34):
Plans to give you hope and afuture.
This verse reassures us thatour exploration of AI aligns
with God's plan for progress andwell-being In our journey with
AI.
This draws inspiration frombiblical figures Daniel's
courage in a foreign land, solomon's wisdom in governance
and David's heart for God showsus how to engage with new
(07:57):
technologies like AI.
We're encouraged to exploreAI's potential thoughtfully and
responsibly, using it to serveand uplift others, just as these
figures use their gifts fortheir greater good.
By integrating AI into ourlives and businesses with
discernment and faith, we canensure that our use of
technology not only advances ourgoals, but also glorifies God
(08:21):
and reflects his love to theworld.
Thank you for tuning in to TechAlmighty.
