Here is an audio preview of one of the new shows coming out on our Strange Midnight AV YouTube channel.
In all of our stress disappearing we basically created 4 different 80s Found Footage Horror ASMR(-ish) TV series.
First, there’s Lotho’s Library of Classic Horrors, an ’80s goth public access show where Lotho the Librarian whispers eerie tales pulled straight from classic masters of horror. Then we have Vision Quest Video Club, a series of unsettling guided meditations that feel like they’ve been beamed in from a dream you don’t quite remember. There’s also the OTS Student Assessment Tapes, inspired by those hearing and vision tests from school. The ones that may (or may not) have been a CIA experiment. And finally, Whispering Winnie, where a painting of a little girl springs to life to tell you twisted, uncanny versions of your favorite fairy tales. We will be putting out one episode on YouTube a week, the shows alternate, one week Vision Quest, next week Winnie, OTS, and Lotho and so on. But the first drop will be one of each, coming out Thursday August 14th at 6pm. As we mentioned in the intro, we don't wanna overload your feed, just wanted to share a few of them with you guys.

Tonight belongs to Lotho.
📼 Broadcast in the dead hours of local cable during the early 1980s, Lotho’s Library of Classic Horrors aired several times a week on WGTH-13: The Velvet Signal, a goth-leaning public access channel based out of a low-watt station in upstate New York.
The host, Lotho the Librarian, never appeared fully in frame. Just a sliver of a face and the soft, raspy whisper of forgotten nightmares. Each week, he read a different story pulled from the shadowed shelves of horror literature. Lovecraft, Bowen, Poe - all rendered in a hush meant only for insomniacs and creatures of the night.
