Alexis Murphy went missing on August 3, 2013 from Lovingston, Virginia. The Nelson County Commonwealth’s Attorney, Anthony Martin, decided to move forward with the prosecution of a no-body murder case in the disappearance of Alexis. He succeeded and Randy Allen Taylor was convicted of Alexis’ murder in 2014. Since 2010, Randy Taylor has been considered a suspect in the sudden disappearance of another young woman, 19-year-old Samantha Clarke, from Orange, Virginia. Her case is now being investigated as an abduction and homicide.
