Tareq Hadhad grew up in Syria where his father ran a successful chocolate factory. His father’s livelihood was crumbled and destroyed due to the war. Tareq and his family eventually made their way to Canada where they re-established their chocolate business, Peace by Chocolate, and recreated the chocolates they once exported across the Middle East.
