Steps A Hit podcast. It's yourgirl, Deshaun Snow.
Skido Ortiz (00:28):
And your boy,
Skido's in the building.
DeShawn Snow (00:31):
-What up, doe?
Skido Ortiz (00:32):
-I'm ready, man.
Ten Steps Ahead. I've been
talking about this all week.
DeShawn Snow (00:36):
I know. I know.
You have a busy weekend. We both
had busy weekends. Let's talkabout it.
Skido Ortiz (00:41):
Well, you know
what? Ladies first. See, my mama
taught me right. But I heard youwas going off in South Carolina.
DeShawn Snow (00:49):
Had an amazing
weekend.
Skido Ortiz (00:51):
We did. Man, we
gotta talk about that a little
bit.
DeShawn Snow (00:54):
I am gracing the
cover, the spring issue of
Motivate Magazine, Heart of aWoman. And so Celeste Crocker's
founder and CEO, and she had herlaunch event in South Carolina,
Greensburg, South Greensville,South Carolina. So my, one of my
sisters came with me up thereand we had a great time. It was
a great event, top notch. Theyhonored me and then they
(01:15):
unveiled my cover.
So it was pretty So good.
Skido Ortiz (01:19):
They're like a
movie star. Like, it looked like
a book. You know what I'msaying? Like, we was I was
actually seeing it when we wasin LA. And I was like, Yo, look
at Dee.
She looking like a movie star.Everybody was like, Well, you
know, I'll be showing you out.Because, you know, I'm out there
talking about 10 steps ahead. They were like, Yo, that's a
dope concept. And they werelike, Ski, you always thinking
10 steps ahead.
(01:39):
I said, and DeShawn's the sameway. So it was when we got
together, we're always trying tobe perfectionists. And sometimes
being perfectionists, peopleain't ready for that, and it
could be But we're smoothing itout.
DeShawn Snow (01:50):
-Yes. -We're going
We're being patient. We're being
in the moment, and we'reaccepting things. Because only
God's perfect, right?-Absolutely.
Try We think we're in control, but we're never really in
control.
Skido Ortiz (01:59):
-No, we're not in
control, but
DeShawn Snow (02:00):
-It's just an
illusion.
Skido Ortiz (02:01):
-So, after that,
what happened?
DeShawn Snow (02:02):
So, got the
pictures? Well, the pictures,
everything We did the photoshoota while back. -And the issue
doesn't drop to May, so I can'trelease those photos yet. But,
it was a great time. I had achance to connect with the
people.
A lot of people was inspired bymy story. I shared a little bit.
And it felt so good. You know, Iremember feeling like I wanted
to just battle up that moment, you know, that joy. And I just,
(02:26):
I felt like I was on a high andI just wanted to stay on that
high.
So I got back, I was like, Letme start working on my goals
Skido Ortiz (02:32):
and But when I was
in LA, I was like, you remember
Deshaun's or the first originalAtlanta Housewives? They're
like, yeah. But when theystarted seeing the clip of the
previous show just showing them, they were like, yo, she looks
amazing. But it looks like andthey see your workout. I'm
showing them.
I'm like, yo, she's on some nextlevel things. I mean, I think
the show was good because thatwas good for them. That moment,
(02:56):
But I think the new thingsyou're about to be doing, I know
I just feel blessed I'm includedin this show, but you just look
like you're on a different vibe,a brighter light. I see it. And
women need to be seeing thisbecause it's motivating.
DeShawn Snow (03:09):
Yeah, definitely.
The inside the outside is
finally matching the work that Idid on the inside, right? So,
you know, I'm trying I'm gettingstrong physically as I'm getting
strong mentally. It all goes. It's like being stronger,
healthier, happier.
And so that's the vibe I'mwearing.
Skido Ortiz (03:24):
I love it. I'm
hype. I get excited when people
get, you know, winning and doingsomething. Be like, Ski,
I like, Yo, I just love seeingpeople win. And people don't
believe that till I'm whenthey're working with me and
they're around me. Because theywould people assume things
because they don't know untilthey know you. Because they'd
like, Yo, Ski, you're kind ofrough around it. We don't know
how you're gonna and then whenthey get around me, they're
(03:45):
like, you're the most positiveperson.
And now we see why you're alwaysby yourself. Because when you're
so positive, you just can't bearound everybody. -Because they
can't move like you.
DeShawn Snow (03:55):
-Right.
Skido Ortiz (03:55):
-Mm But
DeShawn Snow (03:55):
And then, you
know, we were talking because
you gotta protect your ear gate, your eye gate, you know, you
can't have anything negative. Atleast for me, you know what I'm
saying? And I think for you too, otherwise I won't be able to
cope, you know what mean? So Ihave to, you know, keep the
positivity around me.
Skido Ortiz (04:10):
You got to. And you
Dee, remember we talked about
before about being in a bubble? You know what And when you're
coming bad habits are are meantto be broken.
DeShawn Snow (04:22):
Yes.
Skido Ortiz (04:23):
And no and and as
you growing in success, you
gotta you gotta starteliminating all these bad habits
because that's gonna motivateyou to go to the next level.
DeShawn Snow (04:33):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (04:33):
And people, you
can't be stuck in your ways.
Right. That's another scene, youknow, a little stuck in your
way. We'll talk about thatlater. But I seen you, like, you
know, we actually accountablefor both what we talk about.
But I trust our friendship togo, Dee, what you think?
Because, you know, we'd be outof pocket, but we don't like to
be checked. Right. Growing isbeing checked.
DeShawn Snow (04:56):
Being checked.
Skido Ortiz (04:56):
Without being
sensitive. But on that note, we
was 10 steps ahead.
DeShawn Snow (05:01):
-Ten steps ahead.
So tell me about LA. You were in
LA this weekend working on somedeals, whatever. I'll get into
detail, but tell
Skido Ortiz (05:08):
me -I can tell
DeShawn Snow (05:09):
you a little
something
Skido Ortiz (05:11):
something. So one
of our clients, Ray Ray, who
plays for the Atlanta Falcons,he's on some next level stuff.
DeShawn Snow (05:20):
Acting.
Skido Ortiz (05:20):
Acting. I got him
in a movie, me and my team.
Michelle Stokes was out there.Chico Brown is out there. You
know, I always say team.
There's no never one person. Youknow? Right. I always credit my
team. Absolutely.
But he came to me, and he he hesays, I need to go to the next
level. And not citing the thingshe's doing. He's he's a very
(05:41):
visional person. He has avisionary that's crazy. And I
was able to get him what heneeded.
But these are things we'rehaving fun with. So we went out
there this weekend. And one ofthese deals, we had Moneybags.
DeShawn Snow (05:56):
Oh, that's about
it.
Skido Ortiz (05:56):
He had a rapper do
Moneybags, who's a
DeShawn Snow (05:59):
I think it's
Moneybags Yo.
Skido Ortiz (06:00):
Moneybags Yo. I I
forgot to Yo. Sorry about that.
But, he's actually a friend ofRay's. Okay.
And all the things that we havethat's powerful and blowing up,
now Ray has it. So instead ofhim being just a football
player, I'm just teachingeverybody how to be So my power
is now his power. His power isnow my power. Your power is not
(06:23):
People don't understand thepower of having somebody next
you next to you. It's they say,Scary, I don't see how you do
it.
I said, well, think about this.Sorry. Think about this. If I
know if I have all theserelationships in the industry
and you're close to me, now youhave all these relationships. So
now we gotta say, how are wegonna make money?
(06:43):
I got all the doors right here.Come to me, let's put something
together. So his thing was hewanted to share his power with
his relationship with MoneybagYo. Okay. So, you know, he came
out there.
He flew out there. He was on hisbusiness. He flew out there, you
know, in a bit I know, to me,maybe he'll say it and have him
(07:03):
on the show. To me, it was like, you never know what you're
getting into. And in LA, youdon't ever know what you're
driving anyway.
Right. So where we had to go wasin the middle of the desert, but
it was big business and it was apowerful corporation out there.
DeShawn Snow (07:17):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (07:17):
But you don't know
till you get
DeShawn Snow (07:18):
there. Right.
Skido Ortiz (07:18):
And it was an hour
and forty minutes out of LA.
Wow. But the corporation's outthere.
DeShawn Snow (07:24):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (07:25):
And he got in that
truck. And then we got the
truck. When he got there, I knowhe's like, well, but when he got
there, you could see everythingjust calm. Because first of all,
LA, you don't know if you'redriving. Yo, is it a setup?
Because I was driving. I said,Yo, dude, if I was in his van,
I'd be thinking, Yo, what's up,man? So I know he was happy to
reach that destination. But hegot out with Ray and Paul, and
(07:46):
Ray was excited. He's like that.
He was excited for Moneybag Yo.And he was able to go in there,
and the enterprise was rightthere. Money outside of what
you're doing is what I'mbringing to the table. So I
said, for Ray to have thatvision, he wanted to share the
power with everybody So this isjust a domino effect that's
(08:07):
about to be going on. I wasproud of that.
And it was it was it wassomething else. And then, of
course, the date with me, it'slike a movie. So when I'm in a
movie, that was Moneybag Yo onetime. The second, I said, well,
now we're going to go seeTiffany Haddish. So we we
DeShawn Snow (08:23):
She was on Stan.
Kay Davis (08:24):
She was
Skido Ortiz (08:24):
on Stan. She was
doing at the Laugh Factory, but
we have personal relationshipswith her. And she's actually one
of the producers on the movie.
Kay Davis (08:33):
Mhmm.
Skido Ortiz (08:33):
So from that, we
finished with Moneybag Yo. We
then had a a ball. Then thatnight, we just went to meet with
her. All the stars was in there. It's just like when we go
somewhere, it's just one ofthose days where God just lines
everything up, and we was allcracking up.
And after the show, Ray was gotRay didn't she didn't know that
(08:54):
Ray was part of the movie.
DeShawn Snow (08:56):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (08:56):
She's one of the
producers. Mhmm. So at the end
of the show, we was able to gether. They meet upstairs. And
then I had my other boy, Mark, who designed that shoe.
I'm like a chess player. Soeverybody's getting they're
like, Yo, this is hot and raisedme. Everybody, he's gonna be in
the movie. Because being in themovie is having relationship
with other actors andprofessionals. Tiffany did her
(09:20):
thing.
You know what I'm saying? We'reproud of her. She's very close
to the circle. So everybody wasjust hanging out. You'll see the
pictures and all that
DeShawn Snow (09:26):
in there. Yes, I
do.
Skido Ortiz (09:27):
So that's the On
the Sidelines Mosquito episode,
matched with 10 Steps Ahead. SoI'm tied to all of this. But,
man, there's so much morebusiness we're doing with
celebrities that's gonna becrazy. But that was a successful
weekend.
DeShawn Snow (09:41):
Awesome.
Skido Ortiz (09:42):
And I gotta go back
Sunday. I gotta turn, you know.
Oh, Max just got here.
DeShawn Snow (09:46):
You're going.
You're going.
Skido Ortiz (09:47):
Yeah. I'm going.
That's what happened. So I had a
great but I gotta sharesomething. So we're on the high.
We're leaving Tiffany and andall the great comics, and we're
sitting there. Everybody'stalking business, having a good
time, just outside the business. You know when you're going into
the plane, when you feel like, okay, I'm going home to kill
this show? Man, before I get tothe airport, you know, the enemy
(10:10):
was Man, my man calls me fromthis episode I'm not gonna say,
but he calls me Being in theindustry, I know a lot of
people. I'm just God justallowed me to have a lot of
powerful friends.
But, I mean, I'm not takingcredit. And I get a call when
some It was a misunderstandingabout something. Instead of
Evolving you? Evolving Well, no.Well, it was me, the people
(10:33):
around me, my team.
And what you're not gonna do istalk about my team.
DeShawn Snow (10:38):
Right. Right.
Skido Ortiz (10:38):
What you're not
gonna do is discredit anybody on
my team.
DeShawn Snow (10:42):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (10:42):
That's just like
somebody saying something about
you. Right. I go hard foranybody that's with me. I don't
play that. Man, I went off inthe airport.
I was so hot, but
DeShawn Snow (10:51):
cameraman -So it
kinda cost you out of
Skido Ortiz (10:54):
process you out of
the -Tiffany Haddish, you know,
you're leaving. That morning, meand Dre, you know, our camera
guy, he he's like he's he'straveling, doing all the shots.
And I went the hell off in thatairport. I forgot. You took the
peace and the happiness.
In a split second, I getprotective. Right. And I went
(11:14):
off. And was like, after awhile, it was so set up that God
allowed me to get on a plane tocalm down.
Kay Davis (11:22):
Six hours.
Skido Ortiz (11:22):
If I had a
parachute, I would've jumped off
that damn plane and went off. Iwas so mad for five hours. By
the time I got home, God wasjust praying and dealing with
me. He said, Listen, everysuccess is always something.
DeShawn Snow (11:39):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (11:39):
You gotta know when
the enemy's coming. And every
time something's good happening, something follows with something
negative or bad, everybody ain'thappy for you.
DeShawn Snow (11:49):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (11:50):
And that made me
calm. And by the time I got on
that Zoom and straightened allthat, by the morning I woke up,
my same people that called me,it reversed.
DeShawn Snow (12:00):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (12:01):
Like, yo, they
called us back. Who are these
people? Do they know who youare? And it's like, God just
allowed that to say, I got yourback.
DeShawn Snow (12:08):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (12:08):
Sometimes you just
gotta breathe and just don't get
caught up in all that crazinessand just let God do the -And
that worked out. -So now I'mready for 10 steps ahead. Sorry.
DeShawn Snow (12:18):
-That's okay. Now
what about so, like,
authenticity, right? -Mm -So youwanna be true to who you are,
but you're not gonna letsomebody play you. Because it
sound like you got a little bitout of character.
Skido Ortiz (12:29):
Did. I lost it.
People was moving away from me
at the airport, and Dre, he gotit on film. He was like, yoke.
That's
DeShawn Snow (12:36):
the New -The New
York came out
Skido Ortiz (12:37):
It ain't even the
New York. It's that People don't
understand. It ain't a New Yorkthing. It's a pain and suffering
thing. It's a anger thing.
DeShawn Snow (12:47):
The
Skido Ortiz (12:47):
things I don't
wanna unleash, the things that
people know me And I'm notfronting here. I know people
know how I get down, I used to,back in my back. But that was
from anger and pain. And, yo,who you talking to? Like, I was
at everybody.
You know what I'm saying? Thatwas just me being trying to
control a temper or anger orimpulse. I'm a grown man now. As
(13:08):
adults, we gotta learn how tocontrol these things.
DeShawn Snow (13:10):
But did you ever
get help trying
Skido Ortiz (13:12):
to No, God. I
swear. No human being could help
me.
DeShawn Snow (13:16):
Not even a
therapist?
Skido Ortiz (13:17):
I went to one.
Okay. Thirty minutes into She
said, I want you to go deep. Sothirty minutes into be talking,
I didn't know how deep shewanted. She stopped me.
She said, I gotta refer you. Isaid, oh, what? She's like, this
is a little too deep. She gotsome She stopped me. But you
(13:37):
know, I said, that's when Icalled my pastor.
DeShawn Snow (13:41):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (13:41):
He said, Ski, what
you got is spiritual warfare.
Your battles can't be healed bya Somebody has to be able to
share your pain to understandyou. The only body that can
understand you is God. So whydon't you give it to him? So
after that, I gave it to him.
And little by little, it's beencoming. I caged that animal,
(14:02):
that thing that
DeShawn Snow (14:04):
animal started But
the animal, doesn't go Caging it
doesn't make it go away, Right?
Skido Ortiz (14:07):
No, it cages it.
DeShawn Snow (14:08):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (14:09):
And then gotta just
the the the everything A root is
always in you. But you know whenyou have a root in you, when you
Root is when it's being pulled.People don't wanna be pulled
because it deals with certainpain or certain things that
trigger you. Everybody don'tknow what You know, it's like, I
don't wanna deal with that. Soyou push it in.
But every time you push it in,you don't know it makes it
(14:30):
worse.
DeShawn Snow (14:31):
Right. That's what
I'm saying. So when
Skido Ortiz (14:33):
I started I tried
to bury it. God said, no, we
gotta pull it out
DeShawn Snow (14:36):
of it.
Skido Ortiz (14:36):
Yes. So like a root
in the ground, when you're
pulling it, it feels like itkeeps going and going. That's
what happened. So but, no, hestarted pulling it. Right.
And I would and then when hepulled it, it broke me. So when
I never cried, I started crying.Things started making me because
people think crying in my worldmakes you weak. No. I didn't
know how strong it makes youbecause you're actually,
(14:57):
everything that comes out of youmakes you stronger.
Absolutely. So so me and Godbeen going through that. And I'm
still going through it.
DeShawn Snow (15:04):
That's
interesting.
Skido Ortiz (15:04):
But after three
hours of crying like a little
baby, and I'm not built likethat, It was me and him, dude.
It's like daddy with your son.-Mm -And he was like, Yo, you
wanna be healed or you wannakeep going through this pain?
Kay Davis (15:16):
-That's right. -Same
DeShawn Snow (15:17):
thing. You mask
it. People, a lot of times, mask
something, and then they don'treally deal with it. And then it
always That's why it's always onthe surface. So the very little
thing can make it trigger.
Skido Ortiz (15:26):
Yeah. So that's it.
And I don't want to deal with it
I don't want to be mad. I don'twant to angry. I don't want to
punch you in your face.
I don't want to Yo, get away. Idon't play like that.
DeShawn Snow (15:34):
So I don't want to
talk to your vibe.
Skido Ortiz (15:36):
I want to be all
laughing and joking and people
having fun around me. I justwant pop. I can't do the
negative. It just rubs me thewrong way now. You know what
saying?
So I walk out, and people gottalearn when to walk out the room.
Don't stay in the midst of justchaos. Your
DeShawn Snow (15:53):
life
Skido Ortiz (15:53):
is better than
that. -Mm -That's it.
DeShawn Snow (15:54):
-Just excuse
yourself.
Skido Ortiz (15:55):
Yeah, just excuse
yourself. You know, you know the
things we
DeShawn Snow (15:58):
Well, I'm glad you
were able to calm down. Glad you
had that timing of that flightso you could
Skido Ortiz (16:04):
And rushed right to
the show and woke up late,
sorry.
DeShawn Snow (16:07):
Oh, yes. Know you
were saying he was late.
Skido Ortiz (16:09):
And I was like, I
woke up. I was like, yo, I was
exhausted.
DeShawn Snow (16:12):
Yeah.
Skido Ortiz (16:12):
But I'm a be
prepped more and more. But I'm
just keeping it real with theaudience. It just happens. We
travel. We do things outside ofthis stuff.
You know?
DeShawn Snow (16:19):
-All right,
absolutely. -That
Skido Ortiz (16:20):
was cool. I'm happy
to be here.
DeShawn Snow (16:22):
Okay, okay. All
right. So, we were talking about
authenticity. You know, beingtrue to who you are in all
circumstances. Do you find that, especially being in the public
arena, that it's a little hardto, There's not a lot of people
being their authentic selves,right?
Because they always feel likethey gotta be on. I know with
me, like, that was always abalance. I mean, not -I'm gonna
Skido Ortiz (16:44):
strip it back to
you. I mean, you coming out of
your bubble. And you
DeShawn Snow (16:48):
-I've been out my
bubble.
Skido Ortiz (16:48):
-No, no, -Let's
just be clear. So you out or
you're coming out little bylittle?
DeShawn Snow (16:53):
-No, I've been out
of the bubble shortly after the
divorce.
Skido Ortiz (16:57):
But you know the
bubble we're talking about.
Okay. -Not the bubble that youBubble is how you handle things.
DeShawn Snow (17:02):
-Right.
Skido Ortiz (17:02):
-How you resolve
things. -Right. -How you don't
do the same things over and overagain. -Okay, yeah. -How you
don't be You know, if Not justsaying that you're on hands.
People think on hands in controlif they always wanna narrate
people's. You know, it's justhow you approach things. -You
know, you can't have the sameconversation and the same
(17:23):
argument over and over again.Something even if the person
don't get it, you gotta get it.-Mm -Because when you get it,
they get it.
You understand? You know, it'slike being the big brother in
the room or the big sister inthe room. There's always gonna
be backlash, but people wannagrow. People ain't like us. When
they come in there, I had tosay, Yo, get over it.
(17:44):
You good, because I'm built acertain way. But some people
can't get over it. You know? SoI had to adjust to them to be
more sensitive. You understand?
And I'm even doing that inbusiness. Leading is leading.
Right. -Not It can't be aboutour way. It's about adjusting
how they are.
-Yeah. -And that's a true boss.-You understand where you can
(18:05):
see
DeShawn Snow (18:06):
the
room?
Skido Ortiz (18:05):
Many are
DeShawn Snow (18:07):
caught. Many are
chosen.
Skido Ortiz (18:07):
Exactly. But on
your case, is that now all these
things are happening.
DeShawn Snow (18:11):
Yes.
Skido Ortiz (18:12):
-Being a boss, your
whole vision, and, you know,
things are coming up. How's thatgoing?
DeShawn Snow (18:17):
I am trying to be
intentional being my authentic
self. -I mean, I've always, inthe past Like, I will compare
was always myself, but I wouldcompare my current self to my
former self, or either comparemyself, my current self, to my
potential. I always felt it waslacking. You know, didn't
measure up. So the feelings ofinadequacy, you know, caused me
(18:40):
to lot missed a lot ofopportunities and not really
fully show up.
Skido Ortiz (18:44):
But opportunities
like what? Business
opportunities.
DeShawn Snow (18:47):
Yeah, because I
would just you know, I don't
know how to halfway do anything. If I'm a do it, I'm a do it all
the way. And if I couldn't do itall the way, then I just
wouldn't go. But the reality ispeople not even really caring
like that. I'm in You're myhead.
I'm in my head, right? Yeah. Sothis year I am getting out of my
head and I am trying to show upas my authentic self And I am
(19:08):
going for what I want. And if itlands, it lands. If it don't, it
don't.
You know I'm saying? Becausethere's no failure. Success is
just falling forward. It's nevergiving up. Just getting back up.
Skido Ortiz (19:19):
But you know what?
In this show, 10 Steps Ahead, is
we're teaching people how togrow. We're teaching people how
to survive.
DeShawn Snow (19:28):
Or thrive.
Skido Ortiz (19:28):
And thrive, be
positive, build whatever you
gotta do and don't believe don'tlisten to nobody else. Stay
focused. And that's why thisshow meant so much when we sat
down and we talked about it. Ifit wasn't nothing else, nobody
can't get nothing out of it. Ididn't wanna do it.
You know what I'm saying? But weare sharing our life and our
world. We
DeShawn Snow (19:47):
really testimony.
Skido Ortiz (19:49):
Yeah. We're giving
you the real, the scenes. We're
not holding nothing. We talkshit. We disagree.
DeShawn Snow (19:55):
But
Skido Ortiz (19:55):
not to hurt each
other. It's to build each other.
See, there's a difference withthat. And I like the way you're
growing. I was showing you offin LA.
I was telling the whole team. Iwas like, yo, shit back. Because
I'm sharing it because I know ithelps with the show. And it
shows, you was out there. Iwasn't on no TV.
I was out there in the streets.I was hustling business and
(20:18):
don't hustle. No, I don't dothat. You know what I'm saying?
You know how people try
DeShawn Snow (20:21):
do you never even
really hustled.
Skido Ortiz (20:22):
-I never did that
now.
DeShawn Snow (20:23):
-And that
Skido Ortiz (20:24):
-But but I was just
showing everybody the new things
that we're working on. Andthat's good when you're into
something, you're supposed tospread that love.
DeShawn Snow (20:32):
-I'm not home
anymore. Excitement is
contagious.
Skido Ortiz (20:36):
Man. And I'm still
pumped, exhausted, jumping off
the plane. As I was gettinghere, my spirit just start I
start praying. That's what I do,you know?
DeShawn Snow (20:44):
-Yes, of course.
Skido Ortiz (20:44):
-Yeah, I gotta just
get here and share everything.
Can't wait to share the newthings that are going on, so
every episode's gonna bedifferent. And everybody wants
to get on this show. Andalready, and I'm saying, now we
got two more episodes to do, butwe're getting warmed up.
DeShawn Snow (20:59):
Me and my
schedule.
Skido Ortiz (21:00):
Your schedule. No,
I'm sticking to Deshaun's
schedule. Let me tell yousomething.
DeShawn Snow (21:04):
-So this is what's
because we're two different
people. -I'm very, like, inorder and, you know, by the
book. And you're very, like,
Skido Ortiz (21:29):
What are you trying
to work on?
DeShawn Snow (21:30):
-Say it. -So I'm
learning to, be fluid and
flexible. Oh, let me sayflexible. -Mm Right. You know
what I'm saying?
I mean, I have my way of doingthings, but, you know, it's not
gonna always go that way. Keepgoing. I'm just that's one
thing. That's the thing.
Skido Ortiz (21:47):
So if it when it
what it so you're saying to them
is you always want things to goyour
Kay Davis (21:53):
way.
DeShawn Snow (21:53):
You wanna you
always wanna strive for
excellence.
Skido Ortiz (21:55):
Okay.
DeShawn Snow (21:56):
I don't know
anything. I mean, I'm not saying
I'm excellent all the time, butI'm definitely striving for it.
Skido Ortiz (22:00):
Ain't nothing wrong
with And,
DeShawn Snow (22:01):
you know,
everything has to be decent and
in order.
Skido Ortiz (22:03):
So being decent and
in order, so you let's let's
just be real with everybody. Iknow a lot of people out there
like that. So you're aperfectionist, and you want
things I'm perfectionist. Or youwant something done the way you
want it done.
DeShawn Snow (22:15):
You know, you got
it
Skido Ortiz (22:16):
in your mind. I
understand that. But shouldn't
there be a little balance forthat when you got people around
you trying to when you wannaline everybody up, sometimes
that shit could drive you crazy.I've seen people with anything
out of line or moves a differentway. Oh, they get into like a
DeShawn Snow (22:32):
Yeah. What I will
usually do is just retreat. I'll
be like, okay, but never I'm offof
Skido Ortiz (22:35):
that. Your exit
thing when it don't go the way
you want.
DeShawn Snow (22:38):
Yeah. Because it's
too much.
Skido Ortiz (22:39):
I'll just go to the
next No, I'm
DeShawn Snow (22:41):
not saying that
it's right.
Skido Ortiz (22:41):
No, I'm not
judging. Just want you to
DeShawn Snow (22:43):
keep it going. No,
it's not right. I'm just saying
that's just
Skido Ortiz (22:45):
So how we fix it?
DeShawn Snow (22:46):
So I'm growing,
I'm evolving.
Skido Ortiz (22:48):
My whole
DeShawn Snow (22:49):
And so I try to be
open to receive the feedback and
I tried to be more patient.
Skido Ortiz (22:54):
Oh, God. You said
that sounds so smooth. And then,
like, she bite, like, justgrinning. Because she she's a
boss, first of all. So whenshe's let me tell you something.
What I love about Deshaun is hershe's driven, her greatness and
perfectionist, but I understandyou. See, that's the thing. I
have a good understanding from I
DeShawn Snow (23:14):
don't think I'm a
perfectionist, though.
Skido Ortiz (23:16):
You just said
you're working
DeShawn Snow (23:18):
on that.
Skido Ortiz (23:19):
Okay. Know what I'm
saying?
DeShawn Snow (23:20):
Said I'm a
perfectionist.
Skido Ortiz (23:22):
No. You said you
like things done a certain way.
There's nothing wrong to be in aperfectionist. You want great.
I'm trying to tell you, man.
Right. Tomato, tomato. Tomato,tomato. I'm saying there's
nothing wrong with it. What I'msaying is that's what drives
people to be great.
That's why they succeed.
DeShawn Snow (23:41):
It has to be
channeled.
Skido Ortiz (23:42):
It has to be
channeled. The balance is you
have a team around you or peoplethat's involved with you.
They're not all like you.
DeShawn Snow (23:49):
Right.
Skido Ortiz (23:49):
So my thing is
sometimes we gotta not come
down. We just gotta understandhow they move. You gotta put
people in positions what they'regood at, what you're good at.
DeShawn Snow (24:00):
-Right.
Skido Ortiz (24:00):
What you're good at
is different from what they're
good at. So I gotta adjust tothe room. -Mm -Adjust
DeShawn Snow (24:05):
to -And I can
imagine that could be more
freeing and easier.
Skido Ortiz (24:09):
Oh, it's easy.
Because, yo, it's like I'm such
and I'm like that too. That'swhy I love because I'm not Hey,
let's don't get it twisted. Whatshe's doing, I'm the same way.
Had to calm down because itwould aggravate me, but it would
be more with frustration thananger.
Like, I had one of my client'sfathers call me. I went the hell
off, X-rayed into the camera. Itwas the wrong time. But he it
(24:32):
was something innocent. Butbecause he knows me, knows my
heart.
But I don't be caring about whenI feel something is dumb or
something that don't make sense. In my mind, I'm thinking it
don't make sense. In their mind,it
DeShawn Snow (24:45):
is. Right.
Skido Ortiz (24:46):
So I have to start
being so quick to be aggravated
because and that's me. Me,because I'm doing the management
thing, just one person, maybetwo. I don't really I'm a boss.
I don't want to be micromanagedor But because these clients are
very professional, sometimes youdon't even get it from them, you
(25:08):
get it from the outside. The-But I need them to be on one
accord to get their teamtogether.
Because if I'm doing businesswith you and you're locked in,
everybody gotta be locked in.You can't leave people out
because then that'll causeconfusion. Right. And confusion
is bad for business.
DeShawn Snow (25:23):
And confusion is
the trick of the enemy.
Skido Ortiz (25:25):
Yes. Absolutely. So
you know how that goes. And on
that note, we are working onourselves, and we are trying to
better ourselves, and invitingeverybody in our lives in this
industry.
Kay Davis (25:38):
Yeah.
Skido Ortiz (25:38):
You know, we've
been doing a lot. I love that.
I'm still I'm still hype.
DeShawn Snow (25:42):
So we have a lot
more to talk I want to bring my
baby sister on. So She
Skido Ortiz (25:49):
is a trip.
DeShawn Snow (25:51):
-
Skido Ortiz (25:52):
saw it when we
started talking, and I was like,
She is something She'scompletely different, opposite
of you.
DeShawn Snow (25:59):
- eYes.
Skido Ortiz (25:59):
But she's gonna be
great.
DeShawn Snow (26:01):
But we're alike in
some ways.
Skido Ortiz (26:02):
No, you're not. We
look Y'all look, I have
beautiful teeth. Y'all gonna seethat. It make you think I my
teeth, man. I got great teeth.
I mean, I'm looking over there.I said, my shit need to be clean
more. I'm like, it got too muchshining going on. But on that
note, I saw two differentpersonalities, good heart. So
y'all you know what I'm saying?
Yeah. And it's funny. So but Ilike she come from knowing
(26:26):
what's real and talks back. Wecome
DeShawn Snow (26:27):
from the same
place.
Skido Ortiz (26:28):
I know, but y'all
two different people. Right? And
and I like the that she has heropinions about certain things
that's going on. And I like toget those opinions so we could
feed off it because there's alot of things going on out
there.
DeShawn Snow (26:39):
Absolutely. She
got her how do say ears to the
street?
Skido Ortiz (26:42):
She got her ears to
the street, and I love it. We
need that. Because we I'mflying, I'm doing things.
DeShawn Snow (26:48):
But they keep me
young and relevant.
Skido Ortiz (26:49):
Yeah, but you look
30, 20 five, you know, you good.
You know what saying?
DeShawn Snow (26:53):
But I look it, but
they, you know, keep me up on
all the stuff.
Skido Ortiz (26:58):
And you see? And
now we get to share it, and we
got our opinions because wewanna know what the people on
the streets are saying.
Kay Davis (27:04):
Okay.
Skido Ortiz (27:04):
And we wanna know
their opinion, but we got our
opinion not to cut nobody down. That's just it is what it is.
DeShawn Snow (27:08):
It is what it is.
All right. So, we'll bring her
out and just after this
Skido Ortiz (27:15):
What's up? Yo,
y'all
DeShawn Snow (27:17):
did Hey,
everybody. We're back. Two Steps
Ahead podcast. And I have mybaby sister here, Kay, in the
Kay
Skido Ortiz (27:24):
is in the building.
Kay Davis (27:25):
What up, doe?
Skido Ortiz (27:27):
What up, doe? Y'all
heard that. That's that Detroit
thing.
DeShawn Snow (27:29):
It is.
Skido Ortiz (27:30):
Am I right?
DeShawn Snow (27:30):
That's Detroit.
That's Detroit.
Skido Ortiz (27:31):
I wanna make sure.
What's up, Kay?
Kay Davis (27:33):
Not Saginaw, not
Flint, not Ann Arbor. It's
Detroit.
Skido Ortiz (27:37):
Is Detroit? It's
Detroit. But you're Atlanta. So
DeShawn Snow (27:40):
That part. But
this one
Kay Davis (27:41):
came My house is in
Detroit. I was made
DeShawn Snow (27:43):
I mean, I I was
Kay Davis (27:44):
Oh, That's right.
Skido Ortiz (27:47):
I like Detroit. I
went I was under when they
played Houston Texans and
DeShawn Snow (27:52):
the Lions And
Skido Ortiz (27:53):
I went out there,
and there was more Detroit fans
in the stadium than
Kay Davis (27:57):
I was on a
Skido Ortiz (27:59):
plane with them,
and they started screaming. But
I thought and I loved it. I justliked the vibe.
Kay Davis (28:04):
We are different.
Skido Ortiz (28:05):
Y'all unified like
that? Why y'all unified like
that?
Kay Davis (28:08):
Just it's in us, not
on us. I don't know.
Skido Ortiz (28:11):
A word? What up,
doe?
DeShawn Snow (28:14):
I like that.
Skido Ortiz (28:15):
You know I'm
saying? New York, what up,
though? Detroit, everybody inAtlanta, though. Go ahead.
Kay Davis (28:19):
Don't do that.
Skido Ortiz (28:21):
Don't do that. It's
So what's up, Kay? What's going
out there in the streets? What'sgoing on? What you been up to?
Kay Davis (28:26):
Nothing. Much. Just
working.
Skido Ortiz (28:29):
Just working.
DeShawn Snow (28:29):
Thank you so.
Karesia. Her name is Carisha. I
call her everybody calls herKay. I know her as
Kay Davis (28:49):
Yes, I am the younger
version of her. I say shit that
she don't say, I say shit thatshe think Want to say. I say
shit that she should say, because that is me. Now she is
in this era, and I am still overhere in this one.
Skido Ortiz (29:04):
Which is good. Two
different people. Two different
same, same. I got it.
DeShawn Snow (29:08):
Yeah. Mean, but
we're out of the siblings, I
think we're more alike in someaspects. Really? Yeah. Because
we're more I mean, we're all
Skido Ortiz (29:16):
I know y'all driven
and business minded and y'all
-Right. I know
DeShawn Snow (29:19):
the real
Kay Davis (29:19):
is one, but y'all
talk about it.
DeShawn Snow (29:21):
But, you know,
like, we, you know, we fall
down, we get right back up. Wefigure it out.
Skido Ortiz (29:26):
-Sold up.
DeShawn Snow (29:26):
-Yeah. -We figure
it out.
Skido Ortiz (29:27):
Okay, what you
thinking? I mean, without her
what you thinking about thiswhole situation, 10 steps ahead,
the show, your sister makingmoves? I know you making moves,
ears to the street. What youthink about all this?
Kay Davis (29:38):
I mean, I'm proud of
y'all. I really am. I'm really
proud of my sister for, youknow, coming out her shell, so
to speak. Now, this podcast issomething different, you know?
So I'm just excited to see wherey'all go with it.
But as long as she keep it ahundred when she's talking on
the show, I think everybody willlove it.
Skido Ortiz (29:57):
Well, the hundred's
gonna be
DeShawn Snow (29:58):
All I know is keep
it 100.
Kay Davis (29:59):
You know 50 plus
fifty, twenty five
DeShawn Snow (30:02):
plus 50. I see
this right. 75 plus 25, it still
comes to a hundred.
Kay Davis (30:07):
Don't even that's not
the same, though. Solid is
solid. You can't break thatshit.
DeShawn Snow (30:11):
I'm It is what
Kay Davis (30:11):
it is. And you are.
Yes. You are. But sometimes
other people that don't know youdon't know that, though.
Because it could be the deliveryor what you're
Skido Ortiz (30:19):
And this is why I
wanted Kay on this show with
DeShawn. Because I seen thisshit live, so what I saw was a
hit. See, I need differentpersonalities. I got one.
Deshaun got one.
Kay got one. It ain't gotnothing to do with her being her
sister. She's really out there. She's on it. She talks shit.
She does all that. But we'regonna keep it so real on this
(30:39):
show. I thought it was a goodadd on to it. You know, it's
about coming together, havingdifferent personalities,
different opinions. And that'swhy I liked it.
Said, Yo, gotta get K on thisYou know, not always y'all go at
it. That's the sister thing. They love each other. You know
how brothers and sisters andeverybody be. But this is real
business out here.
They really doing things outhere, and I'm excited to have
(31:00):
you. But you gotta tell mewhat's been I wanna talk about
I'll out in the air traveling. What's going on out here? What's
going on in the streets?
DeShawn Snow (31:09):
What's the big
topic that everybody As a young
single I mean, younger. You'restill a grown woman, but
Kay Davis (31:15):
I'm 40, nigga.
DeShawn Snow (31:16):
Okay, 40.
Skido Ortiz (31:17):
As a younger woman
What's happened here is I asked
Kay the question, and andDeshaun's trying to answer.
DeShawn Snow (31:24):
Oh, I'm sorry.
Skido Ortiz (31:25):
I'm not and this is
her. This is we're being live
here. This is her
DeShawn Snow (31:29):
I was
Skido Ortiz (31:29):
trying to say,
sorry. Work on herself and not
being a perfectionist. I thisshow is gonna you gonna get it
raw here. We're not pity pattingher. And she's still working on
herself on live, but we lovey'all.
I'm a ask it again. K, what isgoing on out there in these
streets? What's happening?
Kay Davis (31:46):
You know what? It's a
lot that is going on.
Entertainment wise, I'm notreally sure, but I'll find out
for you. I mean, I know thewhole situation with bees and
MO3 and
Skido Ortiz (31:58):
Oh, I heard about
that. Yeah. I mean, this is MOB,
MO2, they're bringing up,there's a case going on, and
something happened.
Kay Davis (32:07):
And Dallas, he was
just smarter with his beef.
Allegedly, he got someone elseto do the killing. Okay. MO
three was, I guess, allegedlybeing reckless in Dallas, and
then he ended up killing, allegedly, unaliving one of his
friends. And that's what madeBeezy retaliate, supposedly.
Skido Ortiz (32:26):
That's the thing
that's going on now.
Kay Davis (32:28):
Yes, but allegedly,
Skido Ortiz (32:29):
he's not gonna
Everything is allegedly.
Kay Davis (32:32):
Because I don't know
him.
Skido Ortiz (32:33):
Don't him. Know. We
just give him what the news
given us. -Mm we just that'swhat you know, something
happened with a certain rapperout here that allegedly did
something to another -Oh,
DeShawn Snow (32:45):
got a junk on
fence?
Skido Ortiz (32:47):
-And then little
scoop -Mm know? -To step the
fence. -What? He
DeShawn Snow (32:52):
died because he
hurt something in his leg from
jumping the fence.
Kay Davis (32:55):
-Oh, no. Yeah, on
scooter, he got shot. -No. -No,
allegedly.
DeShawn Snow (32:58):
-No, they said it
wasn't they said it was the
injury.
Skido Ortiz (33:00):
They said he
DeShawn Snow (33:01):
had gone. -It
wasn't no shot.
Skido Ortiz (33:02):
Bled out.
Kay Davis (33:03):
And just
Skido Ortiz (33:03):
bled bled out. Been
sent to That they thought after
first he got shot. I mean, isjust the news. But they
DeShawn Snow (33:08):
But they cleared
it up, the they cleared
Skido Ortiz (33:10):
it He First, we
thought he got shot. And we're
talking about little
Kay Davis (33:15):
Young Scooter.
Skido Ortiz (33:15):
Young Scooter.
Scooter. They're from Atlanta
here.
Kay Davis (33:19):
They showing an age.
It's okay.
Skido Ortiz (33:21):
He passed and they
thought he got shot and they
came back with the news to saythat he tore something.
Kay Davis (33:27):
In his, I think his
femoral Yeah.
Skido Ortiz (33:30):
And it bled out.
Kay Davis (33:30):
And that's
Skido Ortiz (33:31):
what led to that.
But it's just the fact that,
first of all, he was running. Wedidn't know what was going on
and why you had to run or whatwas going on in that house.
Kay Davis (33:40):
So, it was a lady
that is going around social
media. She was a contestant onBaddies. I don't know which
state, maybe Atlanta, I'm notsure. And she had called the
police and made a false policereport stating that there were
allegedly making a false policereport stating that there were
trafficking and drugs and thingsof that nature going on in that
(34:02):
home because she was supposedlydating one of Young Scooter's
homeboys, and they were having aparty, and they would not invite
her. So this was an act of her, like, retaliating, but,
allegedly, she was unaware thatyoung Scooter was in the house
because this was on hisbirthday.
That's what it was. So they weretrying to put the party
(34:22):
together, and apparently shecouldn't beat her. However it
was, and she came up with thisidea to say that it was a woman
that was being beaten orsomething of that Yeah. And it
was and then when they came, itwas no woman in trouble or
distress.
Skido Ortiz (34:37):
So basically, what
you're saying
Kay Davis (34:38):
is forced pour
Skido Ortiz (34:39):
over somebody that
wasn't invited Mhmm. Which
people do, and y'all make thesethings. And cause of that Mhmm.
Being, being a lie andeverything caused somebody to
lose their And that's why y'allplay games with people out here.
That's And now you
Kay Davis (34:53):
on the net, feigning
for yours and trying to get
forgiveness for what you did.But you don't, like, generation,
DeShawn Snow (35:01):
you don't think
about that.
Skido Ortiz (35:02):
Do you get arrested
for things like that?
DeShawn Snow (35:04):
They never heard
of her. Fossil report. Man,
Kay Davis (35:07):
love this They knew
her face. Think they had to find
out who she was first. Nah, I'mnot
DeShawn Snow (35:10):
sure She found out
because she went on Instagram
Live talking about it.
Kay Davis (35:13):
So she did get
arrested. I'm not sure at
DeShawn Snow (35:15):
all. Yeah. It's
just the My sources. TMZ.
Kay Davis (35:19):
Oh, great. Great.
DeShawn Snow (35:21):
Shade room.
Skido Ortiz (35:22):
Shade But on that,
we was able to lose we lost a
life. Right. And because of youplaying games, making false
calls, calling police, justbecause of how you feel or what
you you know, you gotta becareful out there doing that,
man.
Kay Davis (35:36):
People move in
emotions, though. Yes. That's
the reason why. Because and Ithink that, logically, when you
got emotions because an emotioncan like, they change, they flip
up, you know what I mean? Like,so I think she did that
emotionally because she wasupset, but it's like you don't
think about the consequencesafter the fact.
Skido Ortiz (35:53):
Always consequences
to everything you do in emotion.
You gotta think before you act.And I get angry and I get upset.
But on that note, man, you know,we lost a life there. You know,
God bless his family, you know, his kids.
You can't bring it back. So oncey'all do something out there,
there's no apology because youcan't bring them back. So
basically check yourself beforeyou make any movements because
(36:14):
you can hurt or kill somebodyand get somebody hurt or killed,
whatever force things you'reputting out there. And this is
and I'm a give you, I'll keep itat 100. A situation had just
occurred where That's why Iflipped in the airport because
there was a something thatsomebody thought something.
Instead of going to the sourceor finding out, they were able
(36:34):
to go around my back, but itended up coming back around to
me because I was it could havebeen like a wildfire. But was
able God was able to have me ingreat relationships to bring it
back to me, but it could havegot worse. And what you don't
know, what you wanna know, whatyou're trying to find out, you
need to go to the source. Right.Don't assume things, don't
(36:54):
judge, don't think that, Yo, Ineed to go on my own instincts
because it could cause adisaster.
Right. Definitely. I wasn'tworried about what they did
because it wasn't on me. I wasworried about how they did it.
And I didn't like it.
You know what I'm saying? And itcould have caught I have to do
good business. And nobody wantsto do bad business. Nobody wants
(37:15):
to be around all these type ofthings that make you look bad.
You know what I'm saying?
Kay Davis (37:19):
But But that's key,
though. It's not what you do,
it's how you
Skido Ortiz (37:22):
do it. It's how
Kay Davis (37:22):
you do it. Right?
It's not what you say, it's how
you say
Skido Ortiz (37:24):
it. Absolutely.
Kay Davis (37:25):
It's always the
delivery because that's how I'm
a pick it up. You know what
Skido Ortiz (37:28):
I mean?
Kay Davis (37:28):
So we can go about it
however you wanna go about it,
but it always comes from
Skido Ortiz (37:32):
your head. Why I
always feel when I'm talking to
Kay, she ready to get busy? Is ashow. She's she wanna be on
bucket. She got that you know,I'm telling you right now, we're
Kay Davis (37:41):
gonna so calm. She
cool.
Skido Ortiz (37:43):
But I know she she
you know, these these shows are
gonna get more and more. You'regonna see more and more Kay.
Look, that this is the coolversion because it's the first
episode. I'm trying to laugh. When she get really loose, it's
about to be crazy.
Because I seen it. You know whatI'm saying? But on that note,
man, I'm glad you part of theshow.
Kay Davis (38:01):
Thank you.
Skido Ortiz (38:01):
Thank I'm glad
you're gonna be bringing stuff.
She's gonna be bringing stufffrom the streets, ears to the
street.
Kay Davis (38:06):
I am.
Skido Ortiz (38:06):
Bringing up
episodes that we don't even
know. Like, in her opinion, justgonna feel
DeShawn Snow (38:12):
off the And she's
gonna do the knock it off part.
Skido Ortiz (38:14):
Yeah. It's the
knock because I don't know if a
lot of stuff go don't payattention to a lot of things.
You know what saying?
DeShawn Snow (38:18):
Yeah. Sometimes
people be, like, fronting. And
she be like, knock it off.
Skido Ortiz (38:23):
I know she gave
them that look.
Kay Davis (38:24):
Yes. Yeah.
DeShawn Snow (38:25):
Right? Is that how
you say it?
Kay Davis (38:26):
Yeah, like, I tell
you.
Skido Ortiz (38:27):
She's on the block.
Kay Davis (38:28):
She's in.
DeShawn Snow (38:29):
I don't front,
though. Yeah, you do.
Skido Ortiz (38:31):
You see this?
Kay Davis (38:32):
No. You're good. I'm
good.
Skido Ortiz (38:34):
On the block. She
know where it's going. She's
like, what? What do you mean?
Kay Davis (38:36):
It'll be everything.
What do you
Skido Ortiz (38:37):
mean checking? What
does checking mean?
Kay Davis (38:39):
It's not just
anything.
Skido Ortiz (38:41):
Now you know what
checking
Kay Davis (38:42):
means in that It'll
be everything going on with the
streets. I don't think it's justentertainment. I think it's
just, like, people everydaylives. Like, I feel like even
the stuff that you've beenthrough, even though you had a
camera in your face, there's thesame girl named Janeshia,
Shaquita, they all, they goingthrough it on the block, you
Like, so I think the aspect ofwhat I would bring to the show
(39:04):
is kinda to humble that, like, because you'll be caught, you
DeShawn Snow (39:08):
Humble by me.
Kay Davis (39:09):
Like, like, the
reality, like, the way you you
say it. Like, what was hetalking about, about red flags,
and you know how you saysomething different?
DeShawn Snow (39:17):
No, said rose
colored glasses.
Kay Davis (39:19):
Right, but guess what
I said? You pull out that
Crayola box and get the coloringshit. It's the same thing, just
in a different kind of
DeShawn Snow (39:25):
Like, you paint
the picture that you wanna see.
You
Skido Ortiz (39:27):
know what? I
noticed something I love. This
is why I told you this is tough.Because it's every there's
people a lot like me and a lotlike Kay and a lot like Deshaun.
It doesn't mean we we see thingsdifferent.
We word things different. It'sjust life. Yeah. We're not we
just keep we real with it. Butbringing all these things
together, you know, it's abalance that y'all need to hit.
(39:50):
So and it's gonna educateeverybody.
Kay Davis (39:53):
All same all got the
same agenda. Yep. Just somebody
to pick it up.
DeShawn Snow (39:58):
Okay. That's it.
Skido Ortiz (39:58):
That's what's up.
See, the teeth, I can't deal
with this shit. I was like, yo,I'm not trying to go get my
teeth whited. I got all myteeth. My teeth are straight.
Good.
Kay Davis (40:05):
You do.
Skido Ortiz (40:06):
I love it. You know
what saying? I was telling Kate,
but Kate, she's like, Yeah, smile. I was like, You drink
tea? I drink tea.
Yeah. I love tea. But it
Kay Davis (40:13):
has a color to it, so
Skido Ortiz (40:15):
And you're right
because it's the ring around it
because you think coffee doesit. I didn't know that. And now,
you know, you put me on, but I'mstill gonna tea lighter.
Kay Davis (40:22):
I know you are.
Skido Ortiz (40:22):
You know what
saying? There's no other tea
Kay Davis (40:24):
to tea. And drink it
through a straw. Because I have
to tell people when they gettheir veneers, like,
Skido Ortiz (40:29):
drink through
Drinking it a straw is better.
Kay Davis (40:31):
Aw, cool.
Skido Ortiz (40:32):
I'm a take that
advice on that.
DeShawn Snow (40:34):
Okay. There we
have it. Yeah.
Skido Ortiz (40:36):
I love it.
DeShawn Snow (40:37):
So we'll wrap this
up for today. But I'm looking
forward to getting a freshperspective and keeping it real.
Skido Ortiz (40:48):
No, that's
DeShawn Snow (40:48):
that's her
version. Is Keep
Kay Davis (40:51):
it a hundred. Nah.
DeShawn Snow (40:52):
Keep it a hundred.
Skido Ortiz (40:53):
You said keeping it
a hundred.
Kay Davis (40:55):
There's no air quotes
to it, honey.
DeShawn Snow (40:56):
Keep it a hundred.
Kay Davis (40:57):
That's what it's
right.
Skido Ortiz (40:58):
This is what I'm
telling you. All we get here,
get all concepts. I love it.This is hype. Keeping it real.
DeShawn Snow (41:04):

tuning in, and we'll see you on
the next episode of 10 StepsAhead podcast. Let it lie.
