Century up! Jannik Sinner also enjoyed a comfortable win, cruising past an injured Pedro Martinez, while Marin Cilic continued his strong grass-court form. Grigor Dimitrov reached his own milestone with his 100th Grand Slam match win, and the ever-consistent Alex De Minaur booked yet another second-week Slam appearance - he’s now reached the last 16 in 7 of the last 8 Slams.
It was a dramatic day on the women’s side too, sparking debate among the team: is Iga Swiatek now the favourite from the bottom half of the draw to reach the final? And what’s with all the pasta and strawberries? There were tears as defending champion Barbora Krejcikova fell to Emma Navarro, guaranteeing an eighth consecutive new women’s champion at Wimbledon. Why is it so hard to defend the women’s title? The team weighs in. Meanwhile, hot favourite Elena Rybakina was also sent packing by Clara Tauson, seemingly unsettled by her No. 2 Court assignment.
