Tessa Spisak (00:01):
This right here is
the intentional creation of
luck, of directing your realityto serve you in the way that you
need to allow space for thoseserendipitous little somethings
to seemingly fall right in yourlap that make it all work out,
when you make that switch frombeing an actor with little
(00:22):
control over the script of yourlife and how it plays out into
taking a seat as the directorand intentionally changing that
script.

(01:27):
And I want to continue on todaywith a conversation that we've
been having over these last fewweeks in this new season, about
the practice of taking inventoryof your life and using that
information to check in, to makesure that we're headed in the
right direction, towards thethings that we want and we
desire for ourselves, to thegoals that we have for ourselves
(01:47):
, but also noticing where weneed to make those little shifts
or changes to make our dreamreality, the one that we're
actually experiencing.
Like I said here recently, yourdesires and your dream
lifestyle should be happening inreal life, not just trapped in
your head as something that isnothing more than a nice
(02:09):
visualization, and we've coveredsome good framework foundation
work here, I think, over thelast few weeks.
So, side note, if you haven'tlistened yet, I would suggest
listening to some of theselatest episodes as part of the
process.
But I want to expand on to someadditional territory here and
clearly I'm excited for this.
(02:29):
No backstory, no little chat,we're just jumping right in.
But I want to talk about theconcept of co-creating in your
reality with the universe.
Just co-creation with what'sgoing on and basically that's
the point, when you recognizewhat is reality for you
currently.
What resources do you haveavailable to you now to keep the
(02:52):
parts you like, grow the partsyou like, change the parts you
don't?
What are you going to do withthose resources?
How are you going to use themand where do you go from here?
It's figuring out what you cando to move the needle, for you
to do what you need to do, butalso what you need to have faith
in that everything you've doneto set yourself up for what you
(03:14):
want, that it's coming.
It's sometimes dropping theneed for the 100% knowing of how
and just giving it all you'vegot and trusting that the rest
will work out.
The concept of co-creation youcan think of it like switching
from the role of an actor, whohas very little control over the
script that they're in, andmoving into the director's seat
(03:37):
in terms of your life.
And I believe the most usefuland important and crucial thing
that you can do to actively takepart in this co-creation of
your desires and of your goals, essentially taking that role of
director and intentionallymoving or manipulating the
script is by getting absolutelyready for the thing that you've
(03:59):
been trying to create or bringabout into your life the thing
you're trying to manifest, getting so ready for it, that if
you it were to fall into yourlap tomorrow, if everything
worked out for you to have it,that if you got it you could
take off running with it.
And I don't think I've shared ithere on the podcast, but I have
a way of describing this that Ithink, explains exactly what I
(04:21):
mean in a way that makes a lotof sense and you can really put
whatever it is that you'remanifesting or bringing into
your life, that maybe you need alittle bit of luck or you need
something to happen outside ofyou for it to all work out.
And that is by picturing youare planning a road trip.
We're going to use this as anexample.
(04:43):
It's a long road trip, crosscountry think something like
Florida, california, somethinglike that.
You're planning this road trip.
However, with this road trip, there is one problem, and you
can insert whatever problem herethat you would like, but it's
something that's standingbetween you and that goal of
(05:04):
road tripping across the country.
Maybe you don't have a car thatcan make it that far, maybe you
don't have a place to stay, maybe you don't have the funds
to do so, you don't have someoneto go with you.
Insert literally anything hereand wait.
Now I will interject.
Maybe not actually literally.
I've been using this examplefor years, so it doesn't take
(05:24):
into account things like kids, but you know, just go with me
here.
If this was you in thissituation, that you're the one
who wants to have this road tripacross the country, you have
two choices to make here.
One choice is to act as someonewho just follows the script,
and the other choice is to movethe direction of the script.
(05:47):
And the first option and Ithink this is what a lot of
people do if they haven't beentaught otherwise or haven't
really been introduced toanother method is to look at
this scenario and say man, Iwould love more than anything to
grow to go on this crosscountry road trip for the week,
(06:08):
but I don't have the right car,I don't have the place to stay,
the funds to go, someone to gowith me, whatever.
And it stops there.
It stays a wish, maybe it'sstill on their vision board and
they say affirmations aboutbeing ready to go one day.
But they saw that there was aroadblock and that thing
succeeded at blocking them.
(06:29):
They followed the script.
But let's take that samescenario and have them act as
the director, someone who isopen to changing and moving the
script.
This person still recognizesthey don't have the car, the
place to stay, the funds,whatever.
But they don't intend to letthat stay a roadblock.
(06:49):
They're writing into the storyone way or another that they
will be road tripping across thecountry and they don't lose
faith because of the roadblock.
Instead, they get ready.
They plan the trip.
Where are we now?
Let's say our current date it'smid-November.
They decide something like okay, I don't have everything I need
(07:11):
right now, but by mid-March, byspringtime, I will.
So they start planning thistrip, despite the problem that
they have, despite the roadblock.
They plan out the destinations, they know the stops, they
calculate how much everythingwill cost and how long it will
take.
They start getting intoconversations about the fact
that they're going.
They're joining groups onsocial media or attending
(07:33):
meetups to talk about tips fortaking these trips, for
gift-giving holidays.
They ask for things that theyneed for this trip.
It's their whole theme, fromnow until it's happening.
This is so obvious.
But in what case do you thinkthe trip is more likely to
happen and actually come tofruition.
(07:53):
The person who made the goal or, again, it technically isn't
even a goal if you don't doanything to work towards it they
made a wish.
Or the person who actually setthemselves up to go on this trip
, again, say this is you.
There's one thing standingbetween you and achieving this
goal, one thing between you andthis proverbial cross-country
(08:17):
trip.
Which scenario creates theability for luck?
Which one allows the perfectlittle something to fall into
your lap for the situation towork out?
It's clear, when we're gettingready for this thing to fall
into our laps, it's much easierthat it can actually happen.
There's an avenue for this toactually take place Because, say
(08:38):
it was the car, for example, say that you needed the vehicle
that can take a drive that far.
Which scenario is more set upfor a lucky situation?
Something like getting into aconversation that someone says
you know my partner's out oftown for the week.
I don't want the car to just besitting there.
(08:59):
If you pay for XYZ, you canborrow theirs.
Or again, you're inconversation about it and
someone just so happens to beworking in a car loaner job, or
they know someone who does, whocan hook you up Something that's
just synchronous like that.
Or maybe you don't have a placeto stay, yet somehow you end up
in a conversation with someonewho happens to have a home where
(09:21):
you're going and they'dactually really love someone to
house sit, or maybe they knowsomeone who does.
Or maybe your family alldecides that they're going to
chip in extra cash and give youthat during gift giving season,
right During the holidays.
Or maybe they have a discountor points on a hotel that
they'll trade you for somethingthat they need or that they'd
(09:43):
like instead.
Or again gift giving season, maybe they're just saying I'll
never go there.
You have it right.
Obviously, this example gets abit more clear as we go on and
there's a thousand differentvariables that can be in play.
But this is the intentionalcreation of luck by directing
your reality to serve you in theway that you need for it to
(10:05):
actually work out, for theserendipitous little somethings
to seemingly fall out of the sky.
Because if you didn't have thisall planned out and you didn't
talk about this, there's nochance that you could
potentially end up in asituation where you could use a
car or trade a car or knowsomeone who can get you set up
with a car.
Or again, maybe someone happensto need house sitting where
(10:29):
you're going, or they know a waythat can get you closer to that
thing that you want.
Well, guess what, if you didn'thave this all planned out and
you didn't have everything inplace, not only is it really
unlikely to have this type ofconversation, but it's not going
to spark the same emotion, thesame response from people,
(10:49):
because you're saying I have allof this planned out, this is
exactly what it's going to looklike.
They can really easily seethemselves, or the situation can
.
Somehow it has a way for thepages to fall, for it all to
fall into place.
If this is still simply I wouldlike to go on a road trip, well
, these conversations aren'tgoing to happen.
(11:09):
These things aren't going, orit's much less likely that this
luck is going to find its way toyou.
You have to create the spacefor it to go, and it doesn't
matter what the goal is.
I'm sure you do have somethingin mind, you know something that
you were thinking of when youclick this episode, or what
you're setting out for in thisweek, and I know it might not be
(11:30):
as easy to see as this example, but this is my point here when
you're intentionally directingyour energy and when you're
choosing what you want to payattention to, and when you're
acting out your lifestyle andactively creating your reality.
I want you to take notice ofjust a few things.
First, it's are you lettingyour life be directed by what is
(11:53):
right now or are you willing tomanipulate the script somewhere
?
Is there somewhere that you'realready doing that?
And second, the things that wesee as roadblocks between the
things that we have now andwhere we want to be or what we
want to have.
Are those actually roadblocksor are the opportunities for you
(12:16):
to create a little luck orallow for a little luck to fall
into place?
Basically, are there things inyour life that you have decided
will keep you away from yourgoals and dreams and the things
that you want?
And, if so, if you can recognizethat, do you want to change
that story to one where you'reable to get around them?
(12:37):
You have to be available toluck.
That's how you get luck.
You have to be open to theenergy that you've created with
every action that you take, being open that it's coming back
to you in your most helpfulways.
Being open to the possibilitiesor little synchronicities, is
the only way that they can everpresent themselves to you.
(12:58):
So this is my challenge for youthis week.
Your homework, my loves, is toask yourself some of these
questions.
What are some of the thingsthat you see as roadblocks
between you and your desiredreality, and is it possible that
you can change that story towhere they don't actually block
you, that you are going to allowsome luck to come in and get
(13:20):
you around it regardless?
Get curious about this and getcurious about what would happen
if you did get ready foreverything you wanted to just
fall into your lap.
Are you set up right now to letit all work out in your favor?
Go through this, do some littlemental exercises part of your
inventory.
(13:40):
You know where to find me ifyou need or want more help or a
one-on-one blueprint buildingsession for you specifically,
and please let me know whereyou're able to let in a little
magic this week.
But all right, my loves, that'swhere I'll leave us today.
I want to thank you so much forjoining in on this conversation
with me, and each week, everyMonday, we're going to be
(14:02):
posting a new episode, going alittle bit deeper into the
conversation of what you can doto train your brain on purpose
to really allow for thelifestyle that you want to live.
Until next time, my loves.
In the meantime, here's to yourhealth and your happiness.
