Its widely known that female Black Widow spiders may eat their mates after copulation. It paints a gruesome, cannibalistic picture of a sexually charged and very dangerous female archetype. When this term is applied to a human female she is seen as alluring, hypnotic, charismatic, and very dangerously beautiful. She is cold hearted, however, which gives her the 'deadly assassin' reputation. Men that have survived encounters with her will advise others to steer clear of her gaze or risk the possibility of losing it all. But risk and danger make great bait for men. Almost irresistible for them.
