Do I join a coven or do I practice the craft alone? This is likely a crossroads each practitioner encounters at least once. Even if you never find or formally join a coven, it’s still something you’ll probably even just hear or read about. The first book I ever read to begin studying witchcraft was gifted to me, and it was called, Spells for the Solitary Witch by Eileen Holland. In it Holland describes the path of the solitary witch in contrast to practicing with a coven, so early on this was something I was pondering myself.
In today’s episode of That Witch Podcast, we’ll cover the basics of what to consider in all aspects of this question, and talk about both sides of this spectrum, and some of the in between areas as well. And hopefully, you’ll leave this episode feeling more informed and in-tune with your unique needs as a modern witch.
