On August 21, 2022, in NYC’s West Village, 52-year-old Gerald Hurt arrived at CNN Host Anderson Cooper’s home and claimed he had a package for him. Hurt was forced to leave but would return three more times in the coming months until he was finally arrested on December 15, 2022, on eight counts of misdemeanor offenses including stalking, menacing, trespassing, and criminal contempt for violating the restraining order.
