That's in the Bible
, episode 178, God and Politics
Part 2.
Song (00:12):
Troublesome times are here
, filling men's hearts with fear
, Freedoms we all hold dear.
How is that safe, oh dear?
How is that stay, Humbling yourhearts to God, Sage of the
chastening rod, Seek the waypilgrims trod Christians away.
Eric Sutton (00:37):
Hello, welcome back
to that's in the Bible.
My name is Eric, glad you couldjoin us for another episode of
that's in the Bible.
Today's topic God and Politics,part 2.
And, if you recall, we did Godand Politics a few episodes back
, part 1.
And that was with BrotherRobert Militello, who is also
(00:58):
with us again today.
Brother Militello, how are youtoday?
Robert Militello (01:02):
Thank God, I'm
doing well and it's an
important time for me to speakon this subject.
Brother, I mean Donald Trump isgoing back to the White House.
Eric Sutton (01:13):
Amen, yes, he is
Yep.
And you know, one of the thingsI'll be glad the election cycle
is over now for is the constanttext messages I got.
I almost uh could look at myphone and, quite frankly, I was
tempted not to vote, just inspite of all these text messages
(01:35):
.
But of course I did vote anywayamen, amen.
Robert Militello (01:41):
I.
I get them on my phone here, but that's expected, that's not
unusual.
We live in a day of constantinterruptions, brother.
Eric Sutton (01:54):
Constant
interruptions.
That's exactly what it was.
Well, I'm anxious to get youstarted.
Let me play your intro andwe'll let you go and let you get
started, okay, all right, hereyou go.
Introduction (02:05):
It's now time for
the Bible study brought to you
by That'sInTheBiblecom.
If you are able to, may wesuggest that you get your King
James Bible and follow along asBrother Robert Militello from
Pensacola, Florida, brings usthis study.
And now here is Brother RobertMilitello.
Robert Militello (02:23):
Well, amen.
It's quite a day Americanhistory has been made.
Donald Trump was elected theother night.
He'll go back to the WhiteHouse, god willing.
January 20th will be theinauguration date.
This has not happened exceptone time in American history,
(02:45):
going back in the late 1800s.
Grover Cleveland was also a NewYorker.
He had served as mayor ofBuffalo and quite a president.
He was defeated and came backfor a second term.
And a very religious man, avery good president, in my
(03:08):
opinion.
He's on a thousand-hull of deal.
They don't make them anymore, but Grover Cleveland was a
Democrat and he's the only other.
He's the first president everto do that until Donald Trump
the other night pulled off.
I'm not going to say it was amiracle A lot of people were not
surprised by it but obviouslyone of the greatest comebacks in
(03:33):
American political history.
I know about politics.
I followed it all my life andit's an extraordinary thing.
God this morning, for theopportunity to talk to brothers
and sisters in Christ andcaution them.
Caution them.
(03:53):
We have an enemy who goethabout like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour andhis will.
His strategy is to distractgod's people from the business
at hand and that's why I want totalk.
That's what I want to talkabout this morning.
Don't underestimate the abilityof the enemy to turn your eyes
(04:18):
more now on donald trump andwhat he can do as opposed to
Jesus Christ and the fact that,if you're saved, you must appear
one day at the judgment seat ofChrist and give an account.
So the devil will be workingovertime, now that Donald Trump
is going back into the WhiteHouse, to get Christians to put
(04:40):
more and more hope in him, rather than our Savior Looking
unto him, our Savior, the authorand finisher of our faith.
So I caution you and this iswhat this teaching is all about
Turn first.
We're going to look at a fewscriptures Daniel, chapter 4.
(05:04):
Daniel, chapter 4.
Daniel, chapter 4, verse 17,.
Very apropos to what ishappening in our day Now.
Nebuchadnezzar had pride.
He was taken down from powerand he was put back into power.
Now think of that.
(05:51):
It was taken down.
Donald Trump was taken down inthe election of 2020 and brought
back in 2024.
Now it's an extraordinary thing.
What has happened in Americanpolitics?
It ran against two women and,on two occasions, stopped a
woman from being placed as headof the United States.
The Lord intervened.
No doubt.
He put Donald Trump in therefrom nowhere a political nobody
to stop Hillary Clinton in 2016,as she thought she would get
(06:13):
crowned, break the glass ceilingand become the first woman to
sit in the White House.
He stopped it.
Then along comes Kamala Harrisafter Joe Biden goes off into
the sunset, and again the Lordbrings Donald Trump in to stop
her from getting into the WhiteHouse.
If this is an obvious signalthat the Lord manipulates and
(06:35):
operates behind the scenes, Iremember the Wizard of Oz, that
man behind the curtains pullingall the levers and rods.
He knows what he's doing andhe's got a plan.
And he brought back DonaldTrump, in my opinion, for a
certain idea and objective, andI'll discuss that in a little
while.
(06:56):
But first take caution here.
Look at verse 17 in Daniel 4.
It says bringing backNebuchadnezzar.
This matter is by the decree ofthe watchers and the demand, by
the word of the holy ones, tothe intent that the living may
know that the Most High rulethin the kingdom of men and giveth
(07:21):
it to whomsoever he will Nowremember.
God put Pontius Pilate over hisson, jesus Christ.
He put a man in there who wasable to admit three times.
This man is not guilty, he'sinnocent, meaning Jesus Christ,
and yet he was condemned.
Yet he was condemned.
(07:41):
So what do you say about thesepeople that are put in power and
give it to whomsoever he will, and what?
Here's the last part of verse17, and set it up over it, over
what the kingdom of men, thebasis of men, the basis of men,
now might, as well as donaldtrump, looked upon that way by
(08:04):
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Well, you answer that you bethe judge.
Who does he put in power?
Now, he's put good people inpower.
As far as many of our presidents, including Grover Cleveland
whose father, by the way, was aPresbyterian minister, he was
the only other man to do whatDonald Trump did.
He was the only other man to dowhat Donald Trump did, and he
(08:27):
was quite you know.
Go over Cleveland, you lookthem up and you see that one of
his famous quotes was thesuccess of a government by the
(08:47):
people depends upon the morality, the justice and the honesty of
the people.
But think about that thesuccess of a government by the
people, a government, democracy, depends upon what the morality,
the justice and the honesty ofthe people.
So righteousness, righteousness, exalteth the nation, not your
military, not your economy, notyour intelligence network.
Benjamin Netanyahu had to learnthat and Israel, without their
(09:12):
savior, was depending upon itsstrength in a secular way and it
failed when Hamas came in andkilled all those Jews last year.
So our country's progressspiritually can only happen if
people turn to God and practicerighteousness and honesty.
(09:35):
I don't see that happening, youknow, make America great again.
In what way?
Put more money in people'spockets.
Amen, I'm not against that.
Amen.
Make us stronger around theworld so that our enemies will
respect us.
Amen.
That's fine.
But I want you to think aboutthis Donald Trump is good for
(09:57):
America, in my opinion.
I just voted for him the othermorning for the third time.
Okay, and I know him notpersonally, but I know a lot
about him.
Living in New York and workingfor the mayor's office and the
tabloids always had storiesabout Donald Trump, I know a lot
about him.
We're actually a month apart.
(10:19):
He came into this world in June1946.
(10:40):
I came a month later, july 1946.
So I grew up knowing the thingsand very careful about putting
your eyes on a man.
You know what the scripturesays about trusting in man.
You're cursed.
You're cursed If you make theflesh, the arm of the flesh,
your strength.
You're cursed Now in anotherway.
Turn to the psalm.
(11:02):
Turn to Psalm 14, 2 and 3.
I was saying how does the Lordsee these men?
How does he?
Well, donald Trump, I said, isgoing to be good for America.
I believe that, or I wouldn'thave voted for him.
He's going to be good forAmerica.
He's going to be very good forIsrael.
(11:23):
They love him over there.
He has a plus 70 percentpopularity rate in Israel.
And Benjamin Netanyahu, I thinkTuesday night, benjamin
Netanyahu, aside from some Trumppeople and Trump's family, was
the happiest man in the worldand for many reasons, it was
(11:44):
important for him to see DonaldTrump back in action in the
White House, and I'll touch onthat in a little bit about,
maybe, why the Lord put DonaldTrump back.
I believe Donald Trump was usedby the Lords in a significant
way in his first term regardingIsrael, the status of Jerusalem
(12:06):
and many things, but the workwas incomplete, in my opinion,
and something more has to bedone, and that's why, in my
opinion, donald Trump was putback into the White House.
Now he's good for Israel, verygood for Netanyahu.
He's good for America.
(12:27):
But my question is this, brothers and sisters, and those
of you that might be outside ofthe faith.
God help you.
Is he good for the body ofChrist?
Is he?
Think about it.
Think about that.
God is interested in feedinghis people and leading his
people away from the things ofthis world.
(12:49):
Okay, his prayer is for hispeople.
He said it in John 17,.
I believe John 17, verse 9.
I pray for them, meaning hisdisciples.
I pray not for the world.
God's not interested in worldpeace right now.
(13:09):
Okay, he's interested inpreparing his people to leave
this world and appear at thejudgment seat of Christ and give
an account of their service totheir Savior.
He's about feeding his people.
He said in verse 16 regardingus john 7, verse 16 they are not
(13:32):
of the world, even as I am notof the world.
Christians now putting theirhope in donald trump or looking
to him for answers and a betterway, and that's human nature.
You want a way of life andyou're hoping this guy will be
good for America and he will befor Christians in many respects.
(13:53):
But spiritually, spiritually, Idon't know.
I don't know.
If it draws God's people awayfrom looking to Jesus Christ,
then what If it draws God'speople away from praying for the
blessed hope.
Titus 2.13,.
Looking what?
To Donald Trump?
(14:14):
Or how is he going to makeAmerica great?
Or looking for that blessedhope?
Amen, that's what I'm lookingfor To leave this world.
Why, as a Christian, I'm apilgrim here.
I'm a stranger.
This is not my home.
I'm passing through, doingwhatever I can to edify and save
(14:36):
souls.
This is my role as a Christian.
I'm not worried about a legacy.
Donald Trump is a builder.
He's a builder following thelikes of Herod, who was a great
builder, caesar, hitler, whowanted to be an architect.
He's got his name all over theplace.
(14:58):
Amen, he's been successful.
God bless him.
God bless him.
I thank God for that.
Now, because of his money, he'sable to resist the corrosion
process in politics, which is tobuy you off, and that's good.
So he'll be good for America.
But for the body of Christ?
Again, I don't know.
(15:20):
But for the body of Christ, again, I don't know.
He sat in a church with hisparents for years, at a
Presbyterian church that wasnamed the Marble Collegiate
Church of Manhattan.
I know the church and thepastor there was Dr Norman
Vincent Peale.
He's dead.
A long time he was thegodfather of positive thinking.
You look him up and he wroteall these books on the power of
(15:42):
positive thinking and how Godwants every one of his people to
be successful.
Donald Trump is verysuccess-oriented.
He surrounds himself withbillionaires and very successful
people.
He admires them.
He puts them on a pedestal.
(16:03):
Elon Musk now, and Dana White, the guy who founded that
fighting enterprise, people whohave a great record of success
these are people Donald Trumpsurrounds himself with Amen.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
But what about these people?
(16:23):
Now, if you look at Psalm, whatis it?
Psalm 14.
How does God see these people?
Psalm 14 says in verses two andthree in your King James Bible
the Lord looked down from heavenupon the children of men to see
if there were any that didunderstand and seek God.
(16:46):
Seek God, brothers and sisters.
Not necessarily success.
He says in verse three they areall gone aside.
They are all together, becomefilthy.
There is none that doeth good.
No, not one, wow, wow.
So I don't get too excited overpolitics and politicians.
(17:09):
Okay, I know now what thescripture says.
Before God opened my eyes, converted me and showed me what
he had to say, I thought, likeeverybody else.
Well, he's good for America, orthis one's no good.
When I went Tuesday morning tovote here in Escambia County I
was, I guess, number three, online number four.
(17:30):
I was there early in themorning, the polls open at seven
.
I got to talk to this fellowthat was online.
I said I was 60 years ago thismorning, on November the 5th,
1964.
I was 18.
It was the first time I evervoted.
I left my house early in theevening and voted at PS-199, a
(17:55):
few blocks from my house.
I voted for Senator BarryGoldwater of Arizona and his
running mate William Miller fromLackawanna, new York.
A lot of people don't rememberany of these names.
I do.
I followed politics since I'm aboy, since I was 14.
I said this on another messagethe summer of 19,.
(18:18):
What was it?
63?
No, I'm sorry.
1960, august 60.
I was 14 years old.
I was watching TV with my pop inthe living room, a little black
and white TV, and we werewatching the Democratic
Convention and Senator John FKennedy had just one nomination
a senator from Massachusetts.
Senator John F Kennedy had justone nomination a senator from
(18:40):
Massachusetts.
And I remember my dad tellingme son, that's your next
president.
I said how do you know, dad?
He says he's going to win.
Look at him.
He speaks well, he's goodlooking, he's got a way about
him and the women are going tolove him in both.
For me he's going to bepresident.
But that was the beginning ofmy interest.
(19:01):
I voted every election afterthat.
I think I might have missed one, but I've been around and these
men say a lot of things andyou'll always hear the same
thing.
This is the most consequentialelection in the history of the
United States and America's, ata turning point.
I listened to rhetoric foryears and I can't tell you how
(19:23):
wonderful it was gettingconverted, having the Holy
Spirit open my eyes to the Wordof God and drinking clean water
and having all the mists and thefog of my brain start to fog of
my brain, start to turn away, just evaporate and see things
(19:43):
clearly and say thank God, thankGod for his truth.
So I'm looking at this electionand I'm saying, yeah, it's
important, it's going to beimportant for a lot of
Christians, maybe a little tooimportant and that's a danger.
And that's what I wanted totalk about this morning.
So that's God's opinion ofthese men.
The Lord looks down from heavenupon the children of men to see
(20:06):
if there were any that didunderstand and seek God.
Is Donald Trump doing that?
I don't know.
People say he's saved.
I haven't heard a clear witnessfrom his lips about putting my
faith in the shed blood of JesusChrist.
He's my savior, or I know whereI'm going when I die.
I've had people say that abouthim and hopefully it's true.
(20:28):
But I know as a young man hesat under Dr Norman Vincent
Peale and he was imbued withthat success ethic.
And Dr Norman Vincent Peale hasa successor today, that guy
with the batting knee all thetime, joel Osteen.
You go to his church and youbasically see Dr Norman Vincent
(20:50):
Peale.
Part two God wants you to be asuccess.
He wants everybody to prosper.
Amen.
He's calling his children toyou know he wants us to do well,
materially as well asspiritually.
Get all these guys normanvincent peel, joel osteen and
probably almost 90 of them onso-called christian tv and radio
(21:12):
.
They're all gonna put out thesame stuff.
There's never going to be aboutthe cross, self-denial or the
judgment seat of Christ.
No, it's never going to be.
He must increase, I mustdecrease.
No, they got it the other wayaround.
I must increase, and while Iincrease, I'll increase the Lord
(21:33):
too, in my life, and it'sbrothers and sisters.
It's a grand deception whichthe devil would use now to turn
away a lot of Christians fromtheir duty.
Donald Trump wants to build alegacy.
All these men that aresuccessful want to build a
legacy.
They'll put their name ontowers and buildings, and they
(21:56):
all do that.
That gives them the sense ofwell, I was here.
The world needs to remember me.
But what's the legacy of aChristian?
Why have we been saved?
It says we're seated inheavenly places, and why doesn't
the Lord take us home at thatpoint?
He keeps us here.
(22:16):
We build a different kind oflegacy.
We're kept here to build thebody of Christ.
That's our mission.
That's why that's our legacy.
What is done for Christ will betaken up to glory, nothing else
.
Your name on a building, or thefact that you voted for the guy
(22:37):
who turned out to be a greatpresident, or whatever.
So what?
So what?
That's our legacy.
Now you know, everyone loves awinner.
That's human nature.
Everyone loves a winner and, asI said, donald Trump performed
a miraculous feat in Americanpolitical history and if you
(22:57):
look at it, people want to joinup with a winner and identify a
winner, because it's a lot morepleasant than being with a loser
.
But as far as the world looks atthings, jesus Christ was a
loser.
Yeah, I'm sorry to say yes, asthe world looks at him.
I remember talking to a Jew andhe said to me no, he wasn't the
(23:18):
Messiah, he was a loser.
He didn't bring in the kingdom.
I says that's the way you seehim?
He says yeah, he was a good manas far as doing good or
anything but success.
Wise.
I says well, his followersspread his message around the
gospel.
How can you call it?
How can you say he's not asuccess?
Well, as far as secular success, he was a loser.
(23:40):
We go to the cross.
When we come to Jesus Christ,we go to the cross and we should
go daily to the cross.
Paul said I die daily.
We're considered by the worldlosers, upon as people who
turned away from beingsuccess-oriented or wanting to
(24:03):
contribute in a great way tomaking a name for ourselves.
We have retreated, like so manyother weak people, and gathered
around this book that isbecoming less and less
significant in our society, lessand less important.
In a way, we're looked upon aslosers.
But now, for many Christians inAmerica, we're identifying,
(24:29):
we're the winner.
We have a winner here, see, andwe're going to feel great about
that.
But, brothers and sisters, becareful.
Be careful, because when thatlevel of excitement rises and
there's that anticipation thingsare going to get better or I'm
headed towards good things, theLord has a way of well, look
(24:50):
what he did in Daniel 5 andBelshazzar's Feast, when they
were all happy and excited andtoasting one another with the
very vessels that were takenfrom the temple in Jerusalem.
It was that night that the handcame out of nowhere and started
writing on the wall and itpetrified those Babylonian
(25:12):
nobles and the king.
It petrified them.
Their knees were shaking.
The Lord has a way of strikingat a time just when you're
riding high.
The night before the Titanicwas to pull into New York Harbor
, all seemed well, but thendisaster struck.
Disaster struck while the bandplayed and the night turned into
(25:36):
a living hell for many of them.
God help those poor people.
Turned into a living hell formany of them.
God help those poor people.
What it must have been like tojump into that freezing North
Atlantic water after havinglifted up their glass and
toasting one another and makingrecord time crossing the
Atlantic from England to NewYork Harbor.
So while everybody well, many inthe body of Christ anyway and
(26:00):
others are going to toastJanuary 20th and say thank God
for Donald Trump and he's goingto save America and everything,
be careful, be careful, the Lord.
Well, he says in his word in anhour, when you think not, the
Son of man cometh.
So we don't know my eyes, andthe reason I'm giving this
(26:22):
teaching is to stay fixed on theauthor and finisher of our
faith, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, what did I say about Trumpcoming back?
Part two of politics it's acrazy thing, but the Lord has a
plan and it centers aroundIsrael, and I want the brothers
(26:43):
and sisters to think about this.
Israel is the apple of his eye.
The church age is a pause inGod's plan for Israel and the
Jews to run the world, and theywill, with the Lord on his
throne in Jerusalem and Davidserving under him.
This is for a thousand years.
(27:07):
This is where Hitler got histhousand year Reich.
When he took power in Germany,he said the third Reich will
exist for a thousand years.
He got that from the book ofRevelation.
He thought he was bringing inthe millennium for Germany to be
the power of the world.
By the way, for those of youwho might not know why he called
it the Third Reich, the FirstReich was a Holy Roman Empire.
(27:30):
That was back in the MiddleAges and the Second Reich was
under Otto von Bismarck in the1800s, the late 1800s, and that
was run by the Kaiser, and thatled to World War I.
So Hitler came along and hepronounced himself as the boss
(27:50):
of the Third Reich.
Well, that ended in disaster.
In fact, tomorrow I'm makingthis November 8th, but tomorrow,
november 9th 1938, wasKristallnacht.
In Germany, under Hitler, allthe synagogues and Jewish-owned
businesses were attacked inmajor cities and it was called
(28:11):
the Night of Broken Glass, kristallnacht, and the Jews
remember that.
That is still alive and it wasa horrible night.
It shows what the world thinksof the Jews.
When people take power, theyseem to go after the Jews, and
anti-Semitism and hating theJews is in vogue in these last
(28:35):
days.
Now Donald Trump is going to bea blessing for Israel.
I believe the Lord put him inpart two because of unfinished
business.
Unfinished business when he wasput in and took office in 2017.
I remember, in the campaign of2016, one of his principal
(28:57):
promises was that he would movethe embassy from Tel Aviv to
Jerusalem, and he did and he did.
He lived up to that.
He honored his word.
Although when he first tookpower in the spring of 2017, he
did not do it.
He had the opportunity to do it.
I think I mentioned this onother broadcasts.
(29:19):
I got on the phone at that timeand I called my congressman I
think it was newly elected MattGaetz and I called, I think,
senator Rubio's office and Isaid you have to put pressure on
this president to honor hispromise.
He promised to move the embassyand he seems to have backed
(29:40):
away and he's going to losevotes and he might not carry
Florida again, especially inthis panhandle area where this
is an important issue forBible-believing Christians and
others who love.
The Jews Turned out later thatyear, in spite of all the world
screaming, including the Popeand the King of Jordan making a
(30:03):
special trip to the White Houseto talk Trump out of this, he
said the United States embassywill be moved to Jerusalem.
And boy, he won the hearts ofthe Jews at that point.
Man, he was really Mr Wonderful.
They call them Cyrus.
Really, mr Wonderful.
They call them Cyrus.
(30:23):
If you look up in the Bible, cyrus was the friend of Israel,
allowing the Jews to go back andbuild their temple, and he did
other things for the Jews too.
So they love him and they'rehappy he's back.
Now he has to finish what hestarted.
What he started was theso-called Abraham Accords, which
is to lay a groundwork forpeace in the Middle East between
(30:43):
Israel and their Arab neighbors, including everyone in the
region.
His son-in-law, jared Kushner, who's a Jew, was working on that
project and was going toannounce or tell the American
people how far along this thingwas going, because it seemed to
be headed towards success.
(31:04):
Then something happened inJanuary in 24 years ago more
than four years ago now theCOVID thing broke out and that
threw a monkey wrench into thewhole political process and that
deal with the Middle East andthe so-called Abraham Accords
had to be postponed and shelledand the attention of the
(31:28):
president had to be turnedtowards this crisis and,
unfortunately for Donald Trump,he made some crazy statements
during that time.
You know, inject yourself withbleach or it's no big deal.
He lost the women vote.
He was turned out of power, basically by the women, and we
(31:49):
had sleepy Joe Biden put inthere, who went to sleep for the
next three and a half years andturned senile.
That was a disaster for Americain many ways, but the Lord
pulled him out.
And how close might he havebeen towards greasing the skids
for Middle East peace, only Godknows.
(32:10):
But now he's going back.
By the grace of God, unlesssomething untoward happens, he's
going back to finish the joband it's already begun.
In a way.
He's already told PrimeMinister Netanyahu you've got a
blank check to deal with yourenemy, the enemy being Iran,
(32:30):
persia.
Israel has this problem withIran.
So why did God put Donald Trumpback into office?
To give Prime MinisterNetanyahu and Israel some
breathing room?
They've got Iran down theirneck.
Iran is just committed todestroying Israel.
(32:51):
They say that all the time.
Death to America, death toIsrael.
Now Israel cannot live in peacewith this nation committed to
their destruction.
So what is this blank check NowPresident-elect Donald Trump
will give?
Netanyahu will be permission togo ahead and do to Iran what
(33:14):
must be done to secure some sortof peace in that area.
Not the peace that theAntichrist will bring in.
I don't believe Donald Trump isthe Antichrist for one moment,
but it will open the door to alarger, wider Mideast peace, and
that's where the Antichristwill come in.
But in the meantime, he'll giveNetanyahu the green light.
(33:36):
Kamala would never have donethat and Biden certainly wasn't
going to do it.
So this is what you can preparefor.
How do I know this From theBible?
What book precedes Job?
The book of Esther?
The book of Esther?
Thank God for the King JamesBible.
Amen, because this is not inthe Hebrew Bible.
(33:57):
Now, what do you have in Job?
You have a type of Israel inthe Hebrew Bible.
Now, what do you have in Job?
You have a type of Israel 42chapters, three and a half
months, going through the greattribulation, which is Satan
looking to destroy Israel andgetting permission from God to
really hurt Israel.
Just like Satan got permissionfrom God to work over Job, who
(34:17):
was considered a righteous manand a good man, and the devil
will get permission from God towork over Israel to the point
where almost all the Jews willbe killed.
There'll just be a smallremnant left, at least in
Jerusalem.
So what happens before that inour Bible?
Where we are today?
Is this problem with Iran?
(34:39):
Now I'm looking at it from theJewish point of view, from a
believer's point of view, yousay what about America?
I thank God for America.
I thank God, I'm here and Iwant amen.
God bless Donald Trump and Iwent to pray as Christians for
those that God puts in authorityover us, amen.
But there's a much biggerpicture here and it involves the
(35:00):
apple of his eye and whatPersia back in the Old Testament
.
What Persia was to the Jewshere under Haman was a disaster.
He wanted to destroy Israel andall the Jews in the provinces
that were ruled by Persia.
Haman winds up getting hung onthe gallows that he built for
(35:22):
Mordecai, esther's cousin.
So the last principal threatthat Israel faces in their
history well, now, in ourhistory, before the Great
Tribulation comes from Iran, haman back in the Bible was a
modern-day Ayatollah.
(35:45):
Just like the modern-dayAyatollah is the successor to
Haman, he wants to kill all theJews.
Now, biden and Harris weren'tgoing to let that happen as far
as Iran destroying Israel, butthey prevented Israel from
taking care of their enemies.
Israel must have an opportunityto destroy Iran before they get
(36:07):
destroyed.
I believe that's the reasonDonald Trump won and is headed
back to the White House.
He has a job to do.
He is going to be used by theLord, like the Lord uses
everybody in every nation, toaccomplish God's purpose.
And what is God's purpose?
(36:28):
To spare Israel right now fromthis threat, because Iran is
working on a nuclear weapon.
They might have one already, god only knows.
Now, with Donald Trump aspresident, israel might get
permission I think they will touse the American buster bombs,
the bunker buster bombs, thesebombs that can go way into the
(36:50):
ground and explode.
Bombs, these bombs that can goway into the ground and explode.
And in fact, they had testedthem not far from where I live,
at Eglin Air Force Base, whichis about 45 minutes from here in
Okaloosa County.
I remember a couple of yearsago, with the local stations
(37:11):
telling everybody that therewould be a noise and they
weren't to be concerned or getupset because there was some
military testing going on atEglin Air Force Base and that
was the bunker buster bombs.
So this is why Netanyahu wokeup Wednesday morning.
A very happy man, a very happyman, and I thank God, thank God.
(37:32):
Israel needs help.
They need to somehow eliminatethis nation that is dedicated to
destroying them, these Muslimfanatics.
Donald Trump has a mission.
He's going back to the WhiteHouse.
You know people say did youexpect his victory?
Well, he escaped twoassassination attempts, one,
(37:55):
just a millimeter or so, acouple of centimeters from
blowing his head off, would yousay.
God's hand was on him.
Obviously, yes, obviously, hewas being protected and
preserved by the Lord, godAlmighty, for a specific purpose
.
And what does God use toaccomplish his will?
You think it's always got to bea super Christian.
(38:16):
No, I showed you in Daniel.
He chooses the basis of men.
Donald Trump is in love withsuccess, money, whatever.
I know that.
It's obvious.
One looks upon his life.
You see that.
And who does God use?
Well, if he has to, he'll useBalaam's donkey, a jackass, to
speak to his people.
(38:37):
He's not limited.
So here comes Donald Trump.
If it draws you away from thebook, there's a problem.
If it takes your eyes off ofJesus Christ, there's a problem
(39:09):
If you stop praying for the Lordto come remember.
View especially Americansociety, which is wicked to the
core.
Wicked to the core.
Is Donald Trump going to spareus in that way from judgment?
No, we might have gotten areprieve, like we did the first
time when he beat HillaryClinton.
(39:29):
God is long-suffering.
It doesn't mean his judgmentwon't come.
America must be judged, becauseGod is holy and God is just.
America will be judged.
What might have happened nowhere is a little bit more of a
delay, a little bit more of apostponement.
(39:49):
You show up in court and youexpect sentencing or something,
and then the judge says no,we're rescheduling this on the
calendar.
So-and-so didn't show up, thewitness didn't show up, we're
going to reschedule it for acouple of months down the road
and blah, blah, blah.
This is what's happening here.
The Lord is reschedulingAmerica's judgment and giving us
(40:12):
more time.
And what is that time going tobe used for?
Well, if you're a Christian, you know what it should be used
for.
Draw closer to the Lord and tryand win souls.
That's our job here.
That's why we're still here, not to fall in love with the
world or the political system,or you know.
I just wonder how many of God'speople are going to see through
(40:36):
the subtlety of the enemy totake your eyes off of what
really matters, what reallymatters to me.
I know a lot about politics andI can tell you I've heard the
same thing over and over andover again Nothing is going to
change as far as America'sspiritual direction.
This country is hell-bent onpermissiveness with sin,
(41:00):
legalizing marijuana.
We've got kids in school beingtold that you're not a female,
you're really a male, or you'rea male who wants to be a female.
So they get permission to.
The guy gets permission to gointo the girl's bathroom or
participate in women's sportsand whatever.
This is the spiritual directionof our country.
(41:23):
It's going in the toilet.
There's more child pornographytoday than it's horrible.
God sees this.
The eyes of the Lord are inevery place, beholding the evil
and the good.
America's not going to have itsjudgment canceled.
It's postponed temporarily forthe Lord to finish off the
(41:47):
business that involves hisnation, the apple of his eye.
He never promised to saveAmerica.
America's not in prophecy.
Where is it anyway?
I believe the rapture destroysAmerica.
The same day, lot and hisdaughters unfortunately not his
wife left Sodom.
That same day, fire andbrimstone rained down from
(42:09):
heaven.
It probably signifies a nuclearattack.
And Sodom is the way the UnitedStates has become in these last
20 or 30 years.
So I don't see America there.
I see Lot as a type of alast-age Christian, a believer
who had no influence, lost histestimony, but because he
(42:31):
belonged to the Lord and becausehis uncle Abraham was praying
for him.
God sent angels to rescue him.
Amen, amen.
God doesn't forget.
God answers prayer.
A lot of Americans right now, alot of American Christians, who
are not living for the Lord, notdoing right, their minds are
not on spiritual things.
God is long suffering, butthere's going to be a surprise
(42:54):
one day.
There's going to be a surprise.
They're going to be pulled outin a hurry because judgment is
about to fall.
But in the meantime, the Lordhas to prepare the way for this
Mideast comprehensive deal totake place, and that involves
neutralizing Iran.
And this is why I believe again, donald Trump has the
(43:17):
opportunity now to giveNetanyahu what Netanyahu wants.
Netanyahu himself will probablyhave to pay for this later on,
because it was on his watch thatthe Hamas came in and killed
all those Jews last October notthis past October, but last year
and he was known as Mr Security.
(43:38):
Well, mr Security fell asleepat the switch because Israeli
intelligence failed andeverything that Israel was
placing its hope on technologyand its military and its spy
system, especially the Mossadand the Shin Bet, to make Israel
aware of what's going on theyall failed.
(43:59):
Why?
Because the Bible says safetyis of the Lord.
Safety is of the Lord.
I saw that in New York City andthe towers going down.
I don't care what precautionsthe NYPD took to smoke out the
terrorists, even plantingplainclothes, New York City
detectives some who even knewArabic into mosques to sit there
(44:22):
and find out what they weretalking about, what their plans
were Still came.
Destruction came.
It came from a place theydidn't know the skies two planes
flying into the towers.
New York City expected aterrorist attack, but not like
that.
So safety is of the Lord.
(44:44):
Netanyahu had to find that outthe hard way.
Is he saved or converted?
I don't know.
But Israel still has their eyesclosed.
They had that veil over theireyes.
They still haven't found thattheir only safety is really the
Lord.
So until then, until God reallydeals with them, israel,
secular Israel, which will passinto history soon, must deal
(45:09):
with its arch enemy.
It must take out Haman onceagain.
And that's why the church is ina transition period right now,
waiting to go home, waiting toleave this world, like Queen
Vashti, who did not want toattend the banquet that her
husband, the king, had arrangedand she was dismissed.
(45:30):
She was exiled, sent out.
The church will be dismissedshortly as it loses its
saltiness and it will bereplaced by a Jewish queen, just
like Esther replaced QueenVashti.
So we're in a transition.
Now we're waiting for the Lordto take us home.
(45:51):
While we're waiting.
Now we're waiting for the Lordto take us home.
While we're waiting amen.
Are we rejoicing over the factthat we were spared.
We dodged another bullet inhaving Kamala Harris take over
the White House.
Yes, we were spared.
This guy will go down inhistory.
He spared America twice from,in my opinion, two nutty women
(46:12):
from running this country.
First one was Hillary and nowKamala.
And in comes Donald Trump, bythe grace of God, and stops that
.
And that's God's way of youknow, really telling America.
I'm giving you more time.
And what does the delay injudgment really amount to?
Well, it's more grace.
(46:33):
Your grace period has beenextended.
It's like getting a notice fromthe insurance company you
haven't made a payment, so thenext 30 days are a grace period.
We're covering you, althoughyou haven't paid on your policy.
Many policies have that.
They have a grace period andsometimes you can get an
(46:54):
extension on that grace period, just like on a mortgage.
You go to the bank and you sayI'm sorry, I'm in trouble here.
Things turned against me.
I can't make a payment rightnow, so could you please extend
the grace period?
And they will.
In many cases, they just wantto get some money out of you
rather than foreclose on you.
(47:15):
America, with Donald Trump nowgoing back to the White House,
has had its grace periodextended, but will the bill come
and have to be paid eventually?
Yes, it will.
Why?
Because God is holy and God isjust and sin must be punished.
And considering all the lifethat our blessed Lord has given
(47:39):
America over the years, we areheld to a high account.
Oh my God, when I think of it.
Oh Lord, thank you, you've beenso good to this country.
But the danger is much life.
Much is required.
I thank God for America, amen.
(47:59):
I'm here because my father wasin the army in Europe in World
War II and fighting, and met aGerman girl.
They had an affair.
She became pregnant at 16 yearsof age.
Her name was Katharina Kroost.
She fell in love with my dad.
My dad got discharged, the warwas over.
(48:21):
He came back and told hisparents in Brooklyn, new York,
that I have a German girlpregnant there.
She's going to have my baby.
I'm going back for her and I'mbringing her to America.
And that's what he did.
And my mother carried me as achild in her arms on a plane,
flew to LaGuardia, but my fatherpicked her up and brought her
(48:44):
to his home in Brooklyn and shedidn't understand a word of
English.
She was a very courageous woman, leaving her mother and father
and her two younger sisters inGermany to come to a country
where the culture, everythingwas completely different.
And well, I think back and Isaw God's hand was on me.
(49:05):
God was so good to me.
My parents didn't have theBible, I didn't grow up with the
Bible, but they were reallycommitted to teaching me what
was right and wrong, and I thankGod for that.
And then, when the time camethat the Lord opened my eyes, I
was able, by the grace of God,to convince my mother and father
(49:25):
that they needed the new birthor they'd never make it, they'd
never see the Lord Religion, infant baptism wasn't enough.
My mother, as a Lutheran, hadtold me she was baptized and she
wasn't Catholic, and she feltshe was good enough, and I had
to explain that to her and getrid of some of that
self-righteousness.
(49:45):
And my father too.
But my father always had thissense of knowing that God was
with him.
He said to me many times hesaid he felt the hand of God
telling him do the right thing, don't leave that young girl in
Germany by herself there, takeher here.
And he did, and I know howhappy he was.
(50:09):
When I got ordained into theministry oh, I'm so thankful.
When I got ordained into theministry, oh, I'm so thankful.
My parents, grandparents, others, sisters I mean family
members as many, oh, a couple ofdozen, maybe more hands I was
all saved by the grace of Godbecause the Lord's hand was on
me and I was able to convincethem.
(50:31):
The Bible is true, not theCatholic Church, not the
traditions that you were raisedwith.
They won't save you.
In fact, if anything, they'llmake you think you're okay, and
that's not good.
You're not okay, for all havesinned and come short of the
glory of God.
We all need a payment that wecannot make ourselves.
(50:55):
That payment was in blood, precious blood by the Lord Jesus
Christ, and a Christian needsto remember that every day and
remind yourself why you're here.
Is it for the glory of America?
No, no.
I thank God for America, but Ihad, as a Catholic, been
prompted to pray to Mary andsaints.
(51:17):
And then, when God opened myeyes, I realized the gift is not
greater than the giver.
Mary is not greater than God,america is not greater than the
word of God or my savior, god ormy Savior.
(51:38):
America is a gift and I thankGod for America, but it's not to
be placed above affection formy Savior, dedication, passion
and zeal for my Savior.
Why?
Because I'm a pilgrim here, I'mjust passing through, I'm on my
way home, the way you are as aChristian.
That's where I belong, that'smy home, that's where I'm headed
to.
In the meantime, I'll do thebest I can for my nation because
(51:59):
I thank God for America.
My father fought for America, killed people for America.
So I thank God for America andI'll do the best I can, which
means turn people to JesusChrist and exhort his people and
encourage his people to prepareto meet God.
That's the best I can do as faras changing things in a
(52:20):
significant way.
No, the die is cast.
The die is cast.
We're under judgment.
I can't reverse that.
I can't reverse that.
But I can tell Christians andwarn them keep that book close
to your heart.
Thy word have I hid in my heartthat I might not sin against
(52:42):
thee.
And don't let this attachmentto Donald Trump or the political
process steer you away fromwhat really matters.

Robert Militello (53:29):
The Lord
deserves to be served with
passion and zeal.
So all these Christianministers that got tied into the
political process and exhortedtheir people to get out and vote
, all of that that's wonderful, but now it's time to sit back
and reorient themselves to whythey're still here on earth to
serve the Lord, Jesus Christ.
(53:50):
Amen.
