Speaker 1 (00:01):
The first thing that comes up on Google when I
type in, didn't Italian Grace. Oh, it's gonna fucking piss
you off. This is gonna make you mad. Girl, didn't
Italian Grace go to jail.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Because of that fucking show? Yeah, yeah, fucking show.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
I knew that was gonna fire you though, y'all like
it's it's it's sick. It is it is. It is
literally sick. It's like inhumane. I don't know how these
people fucking sleep at night. That is so fucked up.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It's fucked up, so fucked up.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
It is just so damn fuck.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
That's fucked up.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Oh my god. I love chocolate milk so much. Do
you like chocolate milk?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
You just said, oh my god, like Napoleon. Oh my god,
that's how you said it. Get your own chocolate milkairen Ham.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
But chocolate milk is so good. You don't like it?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
No, I don't sorry that. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
You think I'm a psycho for drinking milk as a
grown adult.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
No, I don't think you're No. I love milk with
ice cubes in it, just ice cold milk.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Okay, that is that is psycho. Though. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I'm a psycho.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Now, well, then it's kind of become like skim milk
because it will water it down.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It has to be ice cold.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I feel like I just said that with a British vibe,
but not the accent. It'll water it down. AnyWho, let
us know how you guys like your milk with ice
cubes with chocolate not at all. If you think adults
who drink milk or cereal killers. I know that's a
popular series, watch out for Aaron and I. This is

(01:49):
a show that we're hosting That's So Fucked Up, a
podcast about colts and no No no colds. Well, yeah,
colts and murder generally fucked up things. But we did
change the slogan to.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Things that make you say that's so fucked up?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
And I like that better honestly, because I feel like
it much better encapsulates the spirit of the show. You know,
I got the idea from a meme because it said
millennials just want to listen to podcasts that make them
say ugh, that's so. I don't think it said uh,
but it said millennials just want to listen to podcasts
that make them say that's so fucked up. Every five
minutes and that's where I got the fucking idea.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, that's good because it is.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
A podcast about colts and murder and other generally fucked
up stuff. You guys, we have some great episodes coming
up about four chan and eight chan, QAnon and good
shit wild Ride. Yep, very culty with all that shit really,
especially QAnon because that's actually a cult. But today, our

(02:50):
names and every day we are just gonna say what
we're talking about today. And then it was like, no,
we need to say our names. So first our names
are Ashley Love Richards, your host.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
And I'm Aaron Collins, your co host.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, you guys have been hearing from Aaron and Kristen
quite a bit research extraordinais turned co host. So yeah,
that's who's on the Ones and Twoes today. And we
are finishing up the Natalia Grace documentary, The Curious Case
of Natalia Grace Season three, the final season. I'm gonna

(03:30):
put air quotes.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Air quotes.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I would not be fucking surprised if down the line,
all of a sudden we get a surprise fourth season.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Fourth season after the oh my god, oh my god,
you know it because of the show.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yes right, yes, yes, bitch. Right. We talked about this
a little bit in the beginning of the four Chan
episode two No, the Q and one Yeah, and that's
coming out in a while. So now we're taking a
hard left turn at it. Right, I don't even know
this whole fucking situation is left because it's wrong. Yes,
that's the opposite of right, you know, I don't know. Obviously,

(04:08):
Good American Family is out now. Obviously we did not
wrap up this series before that came out. If you
listened to the last episode, which I hope you did
because you know, good context for this one for show.
Actually that's not true if you listen to the outro,
which I think a lot of people don't anyways, But

(04:29):
I did say that we were going to be wrapping
this up before Good American Family came out on Hulu.
But due to the car issues and audio issues, literally
weeks of them NonStop. Yes, like we've been fucking working,
you guys. It's we've been just chilling and not having

(04:50):
recording days. Our recording days have just been trouble shooting days.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
We've been trying so hard.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
There has been I don't know about any blood, but
sweat and tears.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Absolutely many tears.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Absolutely, yeah, both both of us. So I'm just happy
to be here today. Honestly, Yes, I forget that when
our audio is working, I really enjoy recording. That's kind
of all I need. To be fucking excited to hop
on and record an episode, like that's all I need.
And sometimes I get just so frustrated by the recording

(05:24):
process that I forget how much I love talking about
the shit that we do, you know, because talking about
Audacity and Riverside and microphones and fucking laptops and ports cords,
and I don't like talking about that stuff, right, It's
not my jam. What my jam is is exposing fuck
faces for the fuck faces that they are talking to you.

(05:46):
Barnett's Mans's ID, just the whole shebang, Beth Carris, the
producers of this fucking show, Ellen Pompeo, the producers of
Good American Family, which I'm gonna start watching today, I
think today's day, because we've now by the time we're
done recording this, we will have wrapped up our documentary cycle,

(06:11):
and then I feel like I can move into my
watching the show phase. Hate watching.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
It's gonna be hate watching.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Absolutely hate watching, so that we can report back to
y'all on how fucked they are. Yes, apparently Ellen Pompeo
got this movie produced before anybody fully knew the truth
about Natalia.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, before this season came out, so before all this
crap came out about it.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
But okay, if you do your own fucking objective research,
you can tell that the Barnett's fucking below. I don't
think she gives a flying fuck. She wanted to tell
a certain story and play a certain part she did.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yes, I haven't watched it all. I just watched that
first episode, which is trash, But everything I read they
end up spinning the man like these great Saviors. Because
the third season hadn't come out yet.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
And the thing is that I fucking knew from the
start exactly like what happened with your husband. People would
watch the show and think, oh, well, it's based on
true events, therefore it's probably like ninety eight percent true.
And I have in the past absolutely fallen victim to
that still due to this fucking day y'all. Okay, but

(07:24):
these fucking fictionalized or dramatized versions of real events. You
can't buy that story because what does it say based
on true events?

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Or I don't remember, because I was hate watching.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Whenever you watch a show that is based on a
real life story or movie, generally it is very dramatized
and it's always weird. I don't understand why, because the
story is crazy enough on its own. What the fuck?
Why are you adding shit or change it? But I
think that a lot of people are gonna watch it
and buy their fucking version, and it's going to ruin

(08:07):
Natalia's life more than it already has been.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
And I've seen people because I've been reading the articles
and sending them all to you, but I've seen comments
from people and they're like, oh my god, this show
is so great. Oh it's just amazing. It's not amazing.
It's not amazing.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Oh well, don't clap back at them in the comments
because they'll fight you. I was just saying this to
my roommate. It's so wild how people just shit all
over victims but are so fucking quick to defend a perpetrator. Right,
how dare you speak ill of Meredith Gray? Well, she's
a fucking cunt because of what she just did. I

(08:41):
don't give a shit. You could do it and I'd
be like, yeah, Aaron's a fucking cunt. I don't care
who it is. If you produce this fucking show, you suck, dude.
And if you watch the show and support it and
know that it's not how shit really happened, then you
fucking suck too. Seriously, if you're gonna fucking get online

(09:02):
or in person, argue with people that these producers and
stuff have a right to take creative freedom and tell
somebody else's fucking life story how they want. Not only
somebody else's life story. A very very young woman who
is now twenty one years old, who just got out
of a fucking family like cult. Now it's not even

(09:23):
a family cult because the fucking man's run a church
that she was indoctrinated in for a fucking decade. She
just had a three year docu series spread out over
three years, and imagine during that time she's under contract.
She can't fucking talk. Basically, everybody except from Natalia is
telling her story, even though she was heavily interviewed in

(09:43):
seasons two and three of the Curious Case of Natalia Grace.
It's it's not her story because it's so fucking edited,
and it's interviews with everybody else as well. In their opinions,
and even when Natalia does tell her version, then fucking
Beth care comes on screen and is like, but is
that really what's going on? She doesn't sound like that

(10:05):
at all. Just she's fucking sucks in my mind.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Yet No, it's worse, it's it's terrible.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
We hate her. I think we played a clip in
the last episode which was so fun.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Oh we did it, and I have I have clips too.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Whoo oh Beth, you and your journalistic narration skills journalism
use that loosely. I'm actually curious if anybody else has
been that pissed off by Beth and like publicly spoken
about it, or I'm just like the number one fucking
public enemy of Beckair. I'm pretty drive like the only

(10:45):
one who's taken up the cause. Actually, you know what, though,
I don't know that I'm gonna look into it. Speaking
of Beth, last time we with her just really insightful
recap of been going on, you know, she said, like, so,
let's recap and then basically, uh says where Natalia got

(11:06):
her money? That she tells Cynthia that she still has
to be the payee of her SSI benefits. That's potentially illegal.
So she's literally just parroting things that were just said
in the previous scene and saying something's potentially illegal. That's
not even any you're not adding anything.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
That's all she does.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Commentary is supposed to be commenting on this situation and
adding to it. She doesn't add anything.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
No, she just recaps what you just watched.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
There are twenty three year old YouTube commentary people that
are fucking a billion times better than her. Yeah, but
she's friends with Nancy Grace, so checks out. Okay, and
see this is what I was just fucking talking about.
Because they do it into season three, Beth says, so
you can imagine, So you can imagine that Nicole and

(11:57):
Vince are asking themselves, Who's that's the real Natalia? How
does she really feel about the man's is? Are they
still controlling her? The only thing that Beth is there
to do is to fucking question everybody's credibility at every
fucking corner, which she should be except for Natalia's. I mean,
of course, yeah, question everything and everybody. But you don't

(12:20):
need to be like publicly discrediting her because you fucking know, Okay,
y'all know, if you're like real journalists and documentary makers
like you fucking know, and you're just asking those questions
to mind fuck us. I don't like getting mind fucked, Beth,
take me out to dinner first, at least, all right,
didn't fucking consent to that shit. Then we see Natalia

(12:42):
and she says, I love my parents, I love my family,
I love God, and that's why I look up to
my dad a lot. My dad has definitely been used
in the gift of prophecy by God. You've got a
lot of people right now forsaking the Lord. My dad
prophecied the Ukraine War. My dad has been used to
actually pull a demon out of somebody, used him to

(13:04):
cast out that evening. And that's just one of the
many miracles that my dad has done. And my parents
are my rock. With the help of God, they brought
me through a lot. And that's like, after you know,
this is right, she's now with the depaus this is
so with the man's is anymore. But that just shows
how deep the indoctrination goes. These people abused her and

(13:26):
shuddered her in from the world, like took away her
means of communication and shit.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
But just think, because the other assholes did the same thing.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
And they were like, uh, y'all ain't even doing that
in God's name, get out of here.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Well, I mean they did the same thing. They brainwashed
her to be like you have to go around and
tell everybody you're this age, you know what I mean.
They totally brainwashed her. It's just the poor girl has
just been brainwashed, just goes family to family and gets brainwashed,
you know what I mean, what was the word we.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Liked better for brainwashing? Manipulated, coerced, coerced.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, yeah, she's just.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Been coerced into just terrible beliefs about herself and the world,
her whole life. Yes, yes, somebody asks her one of
the pieces of shit producers, Just somebody fucking asks her,
like so, uh, that's that's kind of crazy. It seems like,
you know, not that long ago, you kind of thought

(14:22):
of them as the enemy. And Natalia says that if
she comments on that, it's gonna start drama. So also
part of me questions, you know, how much is she
kind of afraid of them? Because these people did you know,
they abused her physically, mentally, and emotionally and like deeply
controlled her life every aspect of it her fucking communication

(14:44):
with the outside world, all of her fucking money. They
never got her her goddamn surgeries. Go fucking yourselves. She's
in constant pain because nobody has fucking gotten her the
surgeries that she's supposed to have.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yep, oh, this just m I know. I know.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Beth and all her wisdom is like and for Nicole,
this must be a huge shock, especially coming off of
Natalia's claims to Neil.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Neil's name right, No, I wanted to bring this up
only because when I went back, So her husband, Neil
is the boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Natalia's boyfriend in boyfriend is in the USA the UK?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Correct, Yes, so it is Nicole and Mackenzie de Paul.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
No, Mackenzie's her daughter.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Oh, I'm sorry, it's Vince, Nicole, Vince and Mackenzie. Yes,
that's what I have written.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Now, all right, so a little correction corner. I guess
Beth didn't get the name wrong.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I'm sorry that was actually us.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
But still fuck her, she says, especially coming off of
Natalia's claims to Neil that Cynthia and Antoine are financially
exploited her. What is going on with Natalia and now
she's sitting here saying the Manses are wonderful people and
can do no wrong. It makes no sense. Shut up, Beth,
shut up. I just want to slap her. I just

(16:14):
want to slap her so hard.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
She does that with her voice too. What is going
on with Natalia?

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Like, yeah, it wasn't a fully inaccurate it was not
a fully inaccurate, no impression. It's good because that's the
tone and vibe she's giving, which is not that of
a like a real journalist who's being unbiased and trying
to maybe get you to question or just I don't know.

(16:40):
I don't even know. I don't know. She's terrible though.
That's that's my point. That's all. So then we get
Beth's commentary, followed up with pearls of wisdom from Lady
to Paul, just being like, yeah, I mean, I just
I don't get it. She begged for me to come
rescue her, and now she's insisting there perfect and I

(17:00):
don't know what's going on, and it's like, maybe just
like realize that it's a nuanced situation and you're also
talking to a fucking documentary crew.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Right, Oh, it just like kills me.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
How even they don't seem to see how this is fucked.
And I do think they are good people with very
good intentions who are trying their best to do right
by her. I believe all of that. I believe they're
the fucking a billion times the best people she's had
in her life thus far. I also think that it's
pretty fucking irresponsible and shitty to go and sell this

(17:33):
fucking shit on camera.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Well. I also think just to play devil's advocate. I
also think that freakin' id is edity, yes, to make
and look like that. I honestly think that one hundred.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Person Okay, we did say that before, Yeah, and then
I forgot again because these fucks that's the thing. That's
why we're angry, because ye're trying to make you fucking
feel like things like this, Right, it's funny because it's
like they're on nobody's side, which seems to be that
seems objective quote unquote, because it's like or not taking

(18:08):
anybody's side. We're making everybody look questionable. And it's like, okay,
but now you guys know that she was a child.
Y'all are a billion percent aware that when she was
fucking reaged to twenty four, She was like eleven or something. Yeah,
So how with that information are you gonna fucking play

(18:29):
it like this? Does?

Speaker 2 (18:29):
I one hundred percent think that they sat there and
asked her a specific question to get her to say that,
and then they're like, Okay, now we can edit it
and make you look like the freaking shittiest person.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
We'll have Beth say this first.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah m hmm.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
And then they encourage her to go talk to Natalia
on camera. See, although I think again, like, can't you
just be like I don't think it's the right time
for that, but I don't know. I'm sure they are very.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Then they're like, well then why are we Well, this
is what here for. We're giving you money for this,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Actually, huh do you know that? Do you know?

Speaker 2 (19:07):
I don't. I don't because I mean, I went.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Pretty sure ethically, documentary subjects are not supposed to get paid.
I was in a documentary once you guys, it's on
two B. It's called Evil among Us, the Golden State Killer.
I had one person email me one time and say, hey,
I saw you on a documentary and I was like,
that's what's up? No, No, you know About six months ago,
an old friend of mine reached out and was like, hey, dude,

(19:31):
I just suck fucking saw you on like a random documentary,
Like what, So I've had two people actually acknowledge that
I was on that.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
So I feel like I hear stuff about them getting
paid all the time.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Though I didn't get paid for that.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
No, not you, but families in I feel like I
hear that all the time.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Do documentary sub subjects get paid They're not supposed to,
because then it fucking it's like, you know, uh. Executive
producers and filmmakers will publicly decry the practice and profess
outright objections to paying documentary subject but the reality is this,
it's nearly ubiquitous. Many subjects are getting some form of

(20:13):
benefit in addition to the exposure of the documentary film.
D hmmm, See, I don't fucking and that's from substack
dot com.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
I just know I've heard Netflix, this person got this deal.
I remember what Anna Deelvi like got so much money
to do.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Some show though not a documentary.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
No, but I feel like heard something about it. I
know I've heard something.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I'm gonna did Italia. Are you fucking kidding me? What's
it The first thing that comes up on Google when
I type in didn't Italia Grace? Oh, it's gonna fucking
piss you off? This is gonna girl. Didn't Italian Grace
go to jail?

Speaker 2 (20:51):
What? Because of that fucking show? Oh yeah, fucking show.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I knew that was gonna fire you the five y'all
like it's it's it's sick, it is it is. It
is literally sick. It's like inhumane. I don't know how
these people fucking sleep at night because people are googling
that because they think she's they don't need because they don't.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
They don't, they don't, right because.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
The fucking show leaves them being like, shit, is she
a criminal? If she is, did she go to jail
for it? Right?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Because she should have piecess of shit.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
I knew that was gonna fuck it.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
You knew I was gonna start screaming.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Oh yeah, I was like, ooh, you don't see okay. So,
according to vox dot Com, Nicole DePaul recently alleged on
Facebook that the docudrama had not compensated Natalia in any
way for the use of her story, though they were,
She claimed compensating Christine Barnett, perhaps in the hopes of

(21:54):
staving off a lawsuit. Wait, hold on though, when she
says docudrama, are they talking about American family or.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Yeah, that's that sounds like the series.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Hold on, hold on when me fucking read locked article stupid.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Which we knew because they didn't talk to her at all.
But if they gave Christine money because they didn't want
a lawsuit, that's pretty fun and shady, which really pissed.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah. No, I'm sure that's fucking true, especially because they
were on Natalia's side and Natalia Grace Season three producers
address biggest unanswered question.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Don't read something that I haven't told you yet.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
It just seems that it's it's unclear.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
I do think in that article that I just mentioned,
they were probably talking about about the because this isn't
a docudrama.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
No, they were talking about this the other Yeah, they were.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Talking about good American family. Yeah. So it seems that
it's not really verifiable whether or not. Maybe if I
did it deeper dive, but as for now, I can't
verify whether or not she got paid for the docuseries.

(23:07):
It's it's really annoying because when I type in documentary. Okay,
if this doesn't fucking piss you off more either when
I type in if she got paid for the documentary,
I'm getting results for the Good American Family, of course,
which is not a fucking documentary.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Oh my god, I'm gonna lose my fucking mind. Oh
my god. Ah Okay, like my body is hurting because
I'm tensing up so much. God damn it. I want
to read this fucking Vox article. Hold on, okay, I
found the I found the Facebook post by oh you did,
she said on February twenty. First, I do not intend
to watch the Hulu series American Family. It's called Good

(23:49):
American Family, and I hope you consider avoiding it as well.
Natalia is not receiving compensation, and it is even more
concerning that Christine Barnett is the only one being paid
despite allegations against her. Just remember, the jurors themselves stated
that if they had been aware of Natalia's true age
at the time, they would have returned a guilty verdict

(24:10):
for Christine Burnett. The defense attorney's decision to withhold that
information from the jurors raises significant concerns. Hashtag justice for Natalia,
and unfortunately Natalia can't sue them for reusing information that
is already out in the public. She said in a comment.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Good for her for posting that.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Oh oh oh, somebody said she's probably the one who
helped make the movie. It's sad that they probably right.
That's probably true, Yeah, dude.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
And it's disgusting that she got money for that when
she's the fucking abuser. That's sick, and that's sick.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
It's really fucking sick.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
I don't want to watch it now, you know what
I mean. That's gross. I feel gross, don't you. I
know I do.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
But a lot of the shit we do makes me
feel you're right, like going on in cell site.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
But now that I know that, I just haven't.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Even told my accidental catch a predator story. I haven't
told that yet, have it? And people are like, what Ashley,
And I'm just gonna leave that breadcrumb like you y'all
can bake it, but you can't because you have no
idea what I'm talking about. But holy fuck you, guys.
I accidentally played to catch a predator recently and a
caught one and.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
It felt real ichy.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
But I'm going to get into that on an episode
with Alicia from Twisted and Uncorked because she was my
Canadian crime fighting counterpart on that and we were waiting
to see if anything would happen. But since it has not, Hey,
you guys like hit me up if you're a hacker
for good for real and then burn this after reading.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Hit us both up and then teach us.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
So actually, I know somebody who's teaching themselves and it's
basically learning coding and I can't do that. You know what, Listen,
I'm sure if I really put my mind to it
for years on end, I could probably like start to
get it. But you know, okay, hold on, how much
did the Barnett's And damn dude, this shit's like really
fucking under rats that's so annoying. Also makes sense they.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Don't want people to know, that's why I know.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
But I don't like it when I can't figure things
out why, which is why we need the dark Web. Friends. Yeah,
well we're just gonna go with we don't know. Sorry, guys.
Weirdly ID is not being super transparent. What that's crazy?

(26:35):
I like you, but you're crazy. Then we hear from
this guy who was a part of the Mans's congregation
or whatever, and he says that, like, you need to
watch out for Cynthia and Bishop Mans because they put

(26:56):
out this public persona of like, oh, but it's all
good and we love God and Italia and helping people.
But behind closed doors, he says they are monsters. He
said that he needed daycare for his kid and apparently
a few people recommended Cynthia Mann's. She's so the but

(27:17):
ski the but skis. They're so the butt skis. It's crazy.
He thought they were just like a normal religious family,
and after a few months he started seeing stuff that
seemed like a red flag. He said that Antoine's service,
like he went to one with his son and it
just all seemed super fake. And I don't know that
checks out to me, because I think that some people

(27:39):
do start churches because they believe that it's for good
and all this shit. And I think a lot of
people knowingly do it to fucking get free money and
labor and not be looked at by the government and
get special rules and be tax exempt and just fucking
control a bunch of people. So he said that, you know,

(28:02):
they claim that they're just real good and wholesome and
you know, they don't do anything bad, but they cuss
and they drink, which so do I, guys, But I
don't claim that I fucking don't. Well, I don't drink,
but like I smoke weed, I don't claim that. I don't.
You know, I'm not like, don't smoke weed, it's bad.
I'm like, well, you know in moderation. You know it's

(28:23):
legal in a lot of places, right, Okay.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Yes it is.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
But like, yeah, they're just giant, fucking hypocrites who are
one way in the public and behind closed doors, just
fucking terrible, terrible, And it would make sense that Natalia
would publicly speak highly of them because they're scary.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, she's terrified.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
She felt the need to flee from that. Like, you
don't do that because you're just you know, your fucking
nervous system is like fucking just chilling at rest because
you know the people around you aren't horrible and abusive.
Just I don't know. I think there's there's a lot
of horrible, abusive people. But when you do it under

(29:08):
the guise of being religious, that fucks me up so
much more because it's just such a way to play
on people's vulnerabilities. I don't know, man, it's like spiritual
pimping or something. They're just like fucking whoring everybody out
for their fucking money. I don't know. Yeah, I feel
like it's extra fucked up when you take people who

(29:30):
like believe in God and you know, want community and
shit and just totally fucking exploit that. Because I'm not religious,
but I understand people's want and need for meaning an
order and community, like I get it. And then to
be like, mmmm, yeah, it's like child predators, you know.
It's just like it's people who just prey on.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
All the old people. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Yeah, And actually now I'm just like seeing a of
course it Lima pops into mind, ah limah. Honestly, I
think about her and Russ McCamey maybe close to daily
fucking rent space they take in my head. But like
Linama and Antoine to me are the same. They are

(30:14):
both using whether it's fucking God or science, two sides
of the same goddamn coin or opposite sides, I don't
know whatever, and then just using those things, which fucking
religion and science that's kind of like all there is,
you know, and like taking the most vulnerable people like

(30:34):
with Lima, she goes after people experiencing homelessness and addiction
and mental health issues, and these I don't know. Churches
are like bring us your week, bring us your needy
or whatever, right like, so, I don't know. There was

(30:54):
this guy named Robert Madewell who was apparently one of
a number of people who came forward to give disturbing
accounts of the butt skis. He said, I was only
four years old when Cynthia babysited me. Yeah, that's what
he said. I was like, it's babysat, but I'm reading
a quote. When I tried to go to the bathroom,
Cynthia would tell me no, and I peede on myself.

(31:16):
That gets me angry. But you don't set a four
year old boy in the corner and let him pee
on himself. I did not like being babysat by them.
I would stand there and just cry and do nothing.
It made me feel so insecure. Apparently Cynthia also would
spank them and even if the parents expressly said, don't

(31:38):
fucking hit my goddamn kid. Because I think it's wild
that back in the day, that was just cool.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
It was normal.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Teachers could just fucking dole out corporal punishment when they
felt like it was necessary.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
What my principle used to walk around with the paddle?

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Shut the fuck.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
I swear to god. He had a paddle. So this
is in middle school. He had a paddle and it
had holes drilled in it. He would make the kids
sign the paddle after he spanked them. I swear to god,
what year is this?

Speaker 1 (32:09):
How old are you? What the fuck? You guys? My
face right now? What the fuck?

Speaker 2 (32:14):
And then he would walk down the halls holding this
paddle to scare the shit out of us, right, and
he would just whack it on his leg and walk
up and down the hallway. Middle school is like a
horror movie. This is middle school?

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Now, what year was this?

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Middle school? So this was in the nineties. Oh oh my.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
You guys, yeah, I just like fucking.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Fell Back had been in the early nineties.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
The fuck dude, yeah, oh my god. Because instantly what
comes up in my mind is the movie Days in Confuter, Yes,
and the seniors they haze with the fucking paddle with
the holes. Except for that's fucking kid on kid violence.
This is just a fucking grown ass monster who probably
like got off on that shit.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I will always remember that he used to do that.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
I will always remember my story that all the time.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I'm like, you have no idea kid that was normal?

Speaker 1 (33:06):
That was normal, you guys my fucking face right now.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
And I guarantee that that is normal for a lot
of kids my age, that that's what was going on.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
This needs to be a video club.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Ok. So there's that.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
And this actually makes me really fucking sad to hear,
because this is like a fact. This man who's saying
that when he would get babysat he would have to
stand in the corner and pee on himself and cry,
said that one time he saw Miss Cynthia grab one
of her own kids. I'm guessing it's one of her

(33:45):
adopted fucking I don't even want to call them her
adoptive kids because that makes her sound decent. But she
grabbed one of them who has autism, which makes him
get pretty sometimes, you know, emotional and loud, and she
just fucking open hand slapped him in the face. And
kids with autism are much more likely to get treated

(34:09):
poorly by their fucking teachers. Yeah, so like a lot
of times, I guess the teachers who work with them
are often just like, Oh, they're just you know, praised
for being able to just be around these people who
have learning differences and maybe sometimes emotional struggles or whatever,
and they're trained to handle the kids instead of like

(34:31):
understanding them and stuff. According to Speaking of Autism dot com,
autistic students regularly report experiencing trauma at school. The author
of this article says, the fact is that our schools
are failing their autistic students. Though some places are better
than others, this isn't a problem that's restricted to just
one country or region. It's occurring the world over, and

(34:53):
the worst part is that it almost seems like society
is just sort of okay with it. Autistic students are
being traumatized by their experiences at school and facing a
higher rate of both dropping out and even worse, suicide
as a result. She continues, the biggest blunder that educational
systems across the world have made in regards to their
autistic students is to treat autism as if it were

(35:14):
a behavioral disorder. Behavior is one of the big autism
buzzwords in education. You'll hear people talk about managing behavior
and challenging behaviors. Autism is oftentimes summed up as just
a list of behaviors. Teachers post and forums about stopping
this or that behavior from an autistic student, and autistic

(35:36):
students are being described as being non compliant, and when
an autistic student is having trouble with the activity, they're
sometimes said to be refusing to do X, Y or
Z plan, and then a behavior plan is made for them.
It's just pretty disgusting considering how much information we have
now and how prevalent we know it is for people

(35:58):
to be on the spectrum in some form.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
You know.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
That just really pisses me off. And that was obviously
like a total aside, but just kind of blows my
mind how much we fail children constantly, literally always. So
then we hear from this guy named Matthew Newland who
lived with the Manses and Natalia for quite a while.

(36:21):
I'm not really sure, like what the deal is with,
you know, people coming in and out of their house.
I don't really get it. But he said that he
was like a big brother to Natalia and was very
protective of her. And one day when he was outside,
he could hear screaming, so he went down to the
basement of the church and he saw Antoine beating Natalia

(36:43):
with tears just like streaming down her face, and she
told him that she doesn't like the Manses and she
wanted to get out of there, and he kept saying
that she needed to because if like she waited, you know,
she could get killed. I don't know if they're murderers,
isn't there right, But obviously they were in the least financially,

(37:05):
very much physically. The only thing I haven't heard about
is sexual abuse, but that shit does tend to stay
under wraps anyway. Like, I don't know if they fucking
were ever gonna murder her or if you know, they
abused her in other ways, but obviously they are fucking
terrible people. And it kind of makes sense that Natalia
says all this fucking good shit on camera about the Manses.

(37:30):
She's fucking scared of that. That makes sense, fuck dude.
So they're surmising that it took Natalia so long to
leave because maybe they have dirt on her of some sort.
Oh and one more tidbit before we wrap this up

(37:53):
is one of the dudes who was interviewed said that
Cynthia was trying to get him to sign over custody
of his fucking kid to.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Her, she's so shady, dude, What.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
The fuck, dude? Just but sky Nation, Honestly.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Nothing shocks me anymore with her, No, it really doesn't.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
So I think that's it for this episode. So two, Dunzo,
I hate this show. I hate everybody and everything. Yeah,
what the fuck? Man? So next episode, we are going
to wrap up the series with episodes three and four,
and then we'll just kind of tell you, guys what

(38:35):
a piece of garbage good American Family is. Look, we're
gonna give Hulu the views so you don't have tot. Okay,
many of you are like, I'm not gonna fucking watch
that bullshit. I've been listening to you, I've been following
the story. I know what's up. Fuck Ellen Pompeo, and

(38:55):
I'm sure y'all are wondering though. I'm very curious as
to exactly how this show spends things. I'm very curious
to know what the fucking end conclusion is that they
kind of put into your mind, because it's only got
to be like one episode in or something.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Right, I think they posted two or three first, because
I watched the first one and I think there was
at least one or two more, and then after that
they were doing releasing one each week, so I don't
know what There may be four, four or five up now.
Oh wait, there's only three episodes up now. Yeah, so
that sounds right.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Well it's a total maybe, No, that's.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Just probably all that's up right now, Are you sure? No?
I'm not sure there's gotta be more than that.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
Well, usually these ones are like limited series.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Yea, they are, but there's normally like eight or Okay, well.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Fuck, Actually, I kind of feel better about our timing
now because it did premiere on March nineteen, which is
a week ago right now, and probably two weeks ago
by the time this episode comes out. But it's an
eight episode series, so it's probably gonna be go well,
not probably, yeah, it will, it's go be going on
for the next several weeks. Then probably by the time

(40:03):
that it's concluding, we can also have been watching and
conclude right along with them that they fucking lick balls,
because I'm sure that's the end result.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
That means we got to deal with this for another
freaking eight weeks.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Fuck well, we can put it down at least that's true,
because I'm not gonna watch that shit weekly. Fuck that.
I'm gonna wait till it's all out, and then I'm
a binge.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
That's the only way to do it, because I.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Don't want this on my mind front and center for
the next five weeks or whatever. I agree, we're gonna
put our attention elsewhere and then we're gonna binge, and
then we're gonna bust all over them.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Yes, because it's you don't know our opinion, it's a
bust spoiler alerts.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Have we not been clear? I don't think we have
expressed our disdain either, stayed pretty unbiased, at least publicly.
It's like Ashley and Aaron's hit List, Betharis fucking investigation
discover clue everybody in the production of Natalia Grace except

(41:06):
for Natalia Grace in a hit list. We just mean,
like hit them up with a rude message. Not you know,
we're not going to.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Kill any you just means they suck.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
That's all wink nudge, just kidding. It's so funny because
I was gonna say that that was real as fuck,
but like it was not. It was real fucked up,
but like it's it's kind of funny that it's not funny,
but we laugh at the darkest of things, So it
is funny that, uh, when I typed in, did Natalia
get paid for the documentary a bunch of information about

(41:39):
Good American Family instead of the Curious Case of Natalia,
Grace came up and Good American Family is a docudrama. Docudrama,
I don't even like calling it a docu drama.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
You shouldn't gives.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Implications that there's something documentary about.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
Other than the fact that they're flat out using her name.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
It's not like Baby Reindeer, where it's like, oh, we're
not using the names because we don't want you to
know who it is, except for it's completely this fucking lady,
and that's super easily find outable and verifiable. They're not
even doing like a fucking like thin veil of like, oh,
we're trying to fucking not ruin people's lives. They're just

(42:19):
straight out there, like the Curious Case of this fucking
cunt trying to ruin this nice American family. You know,
she's gonna fucking play Christine, like how Christine fucking comes
off or how she tries to present herself to the world. Oh,
I'm a mother of a gifted child blue blah blah.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
I've seen the first episode. That's exactly how she plays it.
Hundred scent.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
How Christine Barnett is just a fucking you know, she's
an angel. She like takes credit for her son with
autism being a genius, right, yes, because she knew how to, Oh,
I don't know handle his behaviors. I'm sure she says
some bullshit like that. I mean, that's all I have

(43:07):
to say about that, you know. So, yeah, you guys,
I hope that you're enjoying being on this. I want
to say mystery ride, but it's not with us, and
that you're not giving your dollars to anybody on our
hit them up list. Also, don't hit them up. I
feel like we should start saying.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Don't hit them up.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Well, just like, don't contact people that we talk, don't
do that.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
Don't be that person.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
YouTubers always say it. They're like, do not contact anybody
in this video, like even though they're talking mad shit
on them, and I thought that.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Was pretty smart as smart.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
I don't want Beth Harris being like oh.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
Ash and Air.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Actually, I would be happy for her to like sue
me for like ruining her credibility as a quote journalist
or whatever. You know what, I will take the fucking
low road and blow the fuck up by getting sued.
Is that taking the low road?

Speaker 2 (43:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
I'm just not above the show getting bigger because we
talk shit and then somebody tries to sue me, and
then it's like Nancy Grace's best friend Beth Carris is
trying to sue small podcaster.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
And everybody rallies around you.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Honestly, like, that's my thoughts.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
I'm not even joking that this has like been a
thing in my head where I'm like, I mean, would
it be the worst exposure? I mean, I'm already filing
like we're not gonna get anything out of Bring it on,
Beth and Lima, for real, Seriously, I could use the exposure.

(44:35):
Mark Mark sue me. I talk so much shit? All right, guys,
see you next time and stay cool. I don't know.
We just talked about QAnon and the fucking man'ss Burnett's
first case three hours and now my brain is broken. Yes,
bye guy, bye, bye bye bye bye.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Can't you see it was just really perfect?

Speaker 1 (45:05):
That's not dumb
