Speaker 1 (00:00):
Um, so get this
please.
I have gone shopping on exactlyfour trips to try and find my
outfits for Gaga and BackstreetBoys Zero luck.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
What's your
inspiration mood board?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
So for Gaga I'm
trying to go grunge cause mayhem
ball.
The colors are black and redand I was just like oh, grunge
just works for Gaga, like hottopic but like more my style.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
So I bought a shirt
that I thought could work.
The boyfriend borrowed it for aconcert he went to last week
and it looked so good on him.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
So he took it.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Well, it's no.
He brought it back and I waslike, yeah, it looks really good
, it looks good in photos, andthen, but I was like I don't
know, it's a little big, but ifI got the one size down it would
be too short on my arms.
So I'd rather have it be alittle bigger on the side rather
than have it like be short onthe arms.
(00:50):
Okay anyway, but I was unclearabout the bottoms.
I bought A ton of stuff fromamazon because I was like, let
me just see what I can scroungeup with amazon.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Not a single thing
worked and like it didn't look
right or didn't fit didn't fit.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
There's a pair of
jeans that could.
That was.
I was like these are promising.
They were okay, so I'm a size31.
They were a size 32.
So I was like, okay, I'll beltit.
Like they're baggy jeans withlike a ton of buckles and stuff.
I pulled them out of the bag.
I was like these look worn.
I put them on.
They're way too big.
Like it said it was a size 32.
It was definitely like a size38, like the way that I could
(01:20):
fit a second me in them.
Not only that, I put my hands inthe pockets, pull out an empty
no, an empty um liquid iv packetso someone wore them in return
and returned them, so I was likeforget this so return all that?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
you were gonna do
that?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
no, I was like I was
looking for a pair of baggy
jeans that could work, that Iwould just hold on to yeah
anyway.
So I with I had about thrownout, throwing the towel.
And then today boyfriend wantedto go shopping for something
for backstreet boys, so we wentto the galleria.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
He- made out like a
bandit.
The glendale galleria he madeout like a bandit.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, he found
amazing things, that he got some
basics at uniclo.
He got like a ton of stuff atzara.
He got some stuff at where else, somewhere else.
Oh, he got jeans at aripodabercrombie aberccrombie is the
best store right now.
Like.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
I don't know what to
say.
They're the best he was lookingfor a very specific.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
So his jeans ripped
yesterday like up by his hip and
I was like, oh, has this alwaysbeen there?
He's like what?
So he's looking to replacethose?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
We found an almost
exact match today at Abercrombie
.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
I tried on so many
cool things as are.
I was like something here'sgoing to work.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
No, it didn't work,
cause it's not long enough for
your legs.
There's a spider on the wall.
That was crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
That was so calm and
you could dump spiders on me and
I'd be fine.
There's a snake in there.
I'm dead immediately.
Okay, so listen.
No, then I, I'm deadimmediately In there.
Okay, so listen, no.
Then I came back today withabsolutely nothing and I said
you're going to figure this out.
So what I neglected to say wasthat I also there was another.
(02:55):
There was a pair of pants thatwere like I was like these will
be my backup pants.
Okay, if I can't find pants, for good God.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Okay, cause you're in
Vegas, you have to wear pants
because you can't go out after.
If you don't wear pants, right, what?
No, isn't there like dresscodes everywhere?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
No In Vegas.
Yeah, maybe in some clubs, buttypically no.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Oh, I thought there
was like hardcore dress codes.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
I don't For Gaga.
We're not like planning to goto an after party.
That's the way you're saying it.
These will be a backup.
So I start putting so.
Today, boyfriend leaves and Iwas, like allison's here in an
hour.
I'm gonna find these fits,because I don't have time.
I have tomorrow, then I have towork a full day yeah while then
also packing, cleaning, washingstanley, packing stanley like
it's there's no time yeah soit's like I've got to figure
(03:36):
this out.
Now I'm gonna do it.
So also, the inspo for thebackstreet boys concert is like
the.
The residency is called millenn2.0.
So it's like a celebration ofthat album.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Is how I'm
interpreting it, and so the
group I'm going with were likeso that's like silver right,
silver white, blue.
Yeah.
So, like all of the BackstreetBoys family that have been
posting, they're all wearingwhite, they're doing the white,
okay.
And so initially we werethinking that and then we kind
of pivoted to just like in early2000s inspo.
But I have, like I don't know,like I have a lot of this stuff
already because of wasting timeand like the pieces I held on to
(04:08):
.
So I do you remember thejumpsuit that I have, that I've
never worn, that's sleevelessand it's light jean colored?
Yes okay that we had gray comeover and and like tailor a bunch
of stuff and she made it fit mebetter and I've never fucking
worn it this is your time I putthat house and I put that shit
on, slapped on, slapped on abandana, do you?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
see this?
Do you see this?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
yeah, that's
everything these boots from
wasting time I do love thoseboots and I'm gonna wear it
shirtless like this your biceps,oh yeah I'm also like gaining
so much also jacked, I'm alsojacked.
With these teeny little gold.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah, you look so
cool.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
There it is.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Wow, then Throw this
photo up for the peeps, okay
guys.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Then I was like let
me just see if this fit works
for Gaga.
And then this is the Gaga fit.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I thought that was a
Halloween skeleton.
Ew, it's cool.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
But I'm going to do
black combat boots instead.
They just haven't come in.
They're supposed to be heretomorrow.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
I was picturing some
black cargo jean type situation,
so that's exactly what that is.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Good job.
So in the hour before you gothere I did that.
Good job With things that arealready in my closet.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
So you can return
everything.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I did already return
everything Nice, so you can
return everything.
I did already return everythingNice.
Again, that's a lie.
Those pants are new from Amazonand that's the shirt that I got
that Chad wore.
Oh yeah yeah, but I think it'sperfect.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, looks great
Proud of you.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Thank you.
Should we start the show?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yes, yes, welcome
back to the A-List Podcast with
Allison and Alex.
I'm Allison, she's.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Allison we're getting
good at that.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I never know if it's
for real or if it's that.
You're always going to be onyour toes.
Oh sorry, no, not tits.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
How was your day?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Oh my gosh, my day's
been actually fine, slept in
that was so Irish sounding, myday's been actually fine I wish.
There's this um a girl thatplays football with Josh.
That is Irish and I lovetalking to her.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
She's also the
sweetest ever and she does she
say oh hey, lassie, it's good tosee you.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
She doesn't say
Lassie, but she is like, she's
like straight up, like fromIreland.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
That is dope.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Not just like fake or
like her mom, you know, she's
like for real and her Irishaccent is so cute.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I love it.
I love an accent.
Do you talk like her when, ifyou're around her too long, no,
okay, well, that's good Cause.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
I don't really.
I can't really do that.
When I'm around a Britishperson, I do that Like my friend
Dan he, but one time he got madat me.
I couldn't tell if he wasactually mad or if he was just
joking, but I started talking ina.
British accent and he was like, what Like?
You can't do that I was likewait a joke, yeah, but um, okay,
(07:11):
I have, there's a lot to say.
My week has been it's been upsand downs.
Okay, I'm gonna start with anup.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Great, I got the
lububu and I brought her here to
show you okay I am so mad, though I did a, an unboxing.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
I was like filming a
vlog where I haven't.
I'm just doing like littleclips of random things.
But then I was like I'm goingto do a TikTok unboxing.
My audio accidentally connectedto my headphones Cause I like
had used them and just like uhtook them out for something but
didn't put them in the case andmy phone connected to them so
(07:45):
you can't hear any of my audioand my unboxing.
So I'm going to have to do likea voiceover or something, which
is not going to be as good youshould try an ADR.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Match your lips.
That will take so long oh myGod, I want to do it.
Okay, that would be so funny.
I'll send it to you.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Okay, so I got to get
her over here.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Okay, okay, okay, man
Cause I was going to ask, I was
going to say you should put theunboxing video like insert it
here.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
But if there's no, no
, I haven't done any dubbing or
voiceover yet, because I watchedit back and I was like what is
happening with the audio?
And then I realized that's whathappened so frustrating.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
So, yeah, green grape
.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
No, no, it's, it was
the big.
I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonnahave you guess what you think I
got.
Okay, so it's the big.
Into energy um collection didyou know that?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
yeah, yeah and then
you don't know what Labu you're
getting in the.
Whatever the category is, youdon't know.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Correct.
So the collection has?
You can get love, happiness, loyalty, serenity, hope or luck,
and then there's a secret thatI don't know what it looks like.
So which do you think I got?
Serenity that was one that Iwanted.
(09:11):
I'll show you them in a second.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Well, no, let me
guess by what it looks like, if
it's not Serenity.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Okay, I didn't get
Serenity.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Oh, great, there you
gave it away.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
This is her.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Love.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Cute.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
This is her Love.
Yeah, cute, this is her.
Ah, mm-hmm you want to see heryeah.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Wow, this is the
thing that has the world it was.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
This has the world in
a chokehold right now.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
It was pretty
exciting to do.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
The whole blind box of it allis a fun thing.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Oh, their feet spin,
that's cute.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
What am I going to
get?
Opening it, I will say as soonas it's over.
It's over.
I just like set it down and Iwas like, okay, yeah that's the
rest I also don't have like abig purse to put it on, because
all my purses are pretty small.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
So I don't know what
to do with her.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
They're called the
monsters.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
That's the brand.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Um, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Cute.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
So here she is.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
That's an up.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I don't think I'm
going to get another one and I'm
not going to buy one.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
What if it's gifted
to you?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
That would be
exciting.
If anyone has one, okay.
But yeah, la Boo Boo happenedand that was exciting love that.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
I got my, I got a
lash lift for the first time.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
How do you feel?
I like the way it looks it doeslook cute, not extensions, just
the lift.
Never done that before, Iwasn't prepared I'm sorry, is
this a down?
Speaker 1 (10:40):
are we still in an up
?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
but this is still
okay, I was afraid um, I wasn't
prepared for how long it wasgoing to take, like I thought it
would be 30 minutes max.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Okay, and it was not.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Hour and a half.
Whoa and um, it's a littlescary with the eyes.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Just cause I hadn't
done it before and I was like
kind of scared of whatever wasgoing around my eyes.
Kind of scared of whatever wasgoing around my eyes was going
to make me blind, cause that'ssomething that would stress me
out.
But um, the girl who did it wasvery nice and I liked the way
they look.
I am maybe interested ingetting um extensions, but very,
(11:19):
very minimal.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Like just more like
filler.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah, just like a
little little like the the most
natural looking of theextensions, not a big like crazy
like yeah, yeah wild that kindof thing, but I don't know
because it is.
It is a lot of upkeep.
It was like 100 little over 100bucks and it only lasts for six
(11:43):
to eight weeks and so, so it'slike it is like it's another
expense on top of like nails andwaxing and stuff like that.
It's like I don't really knowthat I'll add it to my Rolodex
all the time, but it's nice forum, maybe going on vacation or
right now.
I wanted to do it in the summerbecause it's like I'm wearing
(12:05):
less makeup yeah and so it's tohave them already.
Look like good, basically, andjust be like oh, I'm just gonna
do a little tinted moisturizerfill in my eyebrows, maybe a
little like highlight yeah it isnice that it's like already
they're up and in place, alertand cute then I left the
(12:25):
appointment, got my first everparking ticket.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
So sad oh, why would
you do?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
because I didn't know
how long it was going to take.
I and I couldn't fathom that itwould have been more than an
hour and a half, okay so whatdid you pay?
Speaker 1 (12:39):
for an hour?
Speaker 2 (12:40):
no, I paid for an
hour and a half but because the
appointment went that long, likethe paying checking out,
walking down in that time period, they got me.
I was like because I obviouslycouldn't open my eyes.
So in my mind I was thinkingthis is kind of going a long
time, like hopefully I can stillget down there.
I was like if it's close, there's no way that they're
standing there waiting for me.
(13:01):
They must have been.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
I think I was like
eight minutes late.
Is that like a shopping center?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
It was in West
Hollywood, Um kind of near
Barney's Beanery in SalonRepublic space.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
On Sunset.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
On Santa Monica.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Not the one on Sunset
.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Correct, no, not the
one across from the Laugh
Factory.
I was also there.
I've been done a lot this week,oh my God, I was at that Salon
Republic.
That's usually where whenFernanda was coming, that's
where she would rent out.
No, this girl is the one.
It's like right across fromBarney's Beanery on Santa Monica
, but yeah, it was like eightminutes and in that time period
I got my first.
Ever since I've moved to yourparking ticket and I have been
(13:41):
priding myself on Hollywood,we'll get you.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
That's where I got my
first one.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah Well, and I
can't believe they only give you
three weeks, like you're notgoing to give me a full month.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
What was it?
56.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, not even going
to give me a full month until I
get so I could pay, pay when Iget paid for next month.
So annoying.
So that streak has been brokenand a down.
That is a down.
Um, josh and I went to see hisfriend perform at the laugh
factory.
That wasn't up, except for itwas late and I was tired.
Okay, but that's not fully adown.
(14:10):
But this whole week, now we'regetting into the real down.
Actually it's been like threeish weeks.
I have just my true healthanxiety and hypochondria has
been in full effect and I havebeen feeling I hesitate to talk
about health at all onlinebecause it one hater and mean
(14:33):
person get wind and it they'lljust tell me everything that
yeah, I'll just be mean yeah.
But I mean, it is what it is.
I have just had a weird feelingand my, my like heart just
feels like not right.
(14:54):
But I also know that I haveanxiety.
Yes, normally I can like talkmyself down from the health
anxiety and be like you know, ifsomething, if something was
wrong, like it you, you wouldhave already caught it, or I
don't know.
I can usually talk myself down, but in this case I was like you
(15:16):
know what?
You are 35 and I don't want toplay with fate.
So if I have a weird feeling, Iwould rather just go to the
doctor and just get it out ofthe way, get it out.
My blood pressure has alwaysbeen a topic of conversation,
but I have a lot of high anxietyand white coat syndrome and so
(15:39):
when I go to the doctor, if it'sa little elevated, they're like
your, your blood pressure is alittle high and I'm, I am, I
have a lot of anxiety.
I like explain the whole thingand they're like, okay, we'll
take it again at the end, andthen they would take it again
and it would go down and they'dbe like okay but since I've been
on well buterin over the pastyear, um, it is a stimulant, so
(16:01):
it kind of already raises it alittle bit and so I was kind of
like that's adding on to it.
Everyone, everyone like anxietyplus that, just so everyone
knows, and it hasn't like reallylike been an issue when I've
been at the doctor, but sinceI've just had this like new,
(16:22):
like weird tightness or likeweirdness in my chest went to
the doctor, we were just likeit's time to do like an yearly
checkup, so like let's do bloodwork and all that.
So I'm waiting for that.
But because I have such highanxiety the waiting for the
results of my blood test or mylike blood work and it do I
(16:44):
actually need to be concernedabout my blood pressure now
because I'm older.
But like in thinking about that, then I have more anxiety and
I'm like taking my bloodpressure at home and it's it's
like on the higher end.
It's not like, you know, critical or anything.
It's not like that high, but itis higher than the normal thing
or whatever.
(17:05):
And but my anxiety iscompounding that and so I had to
call and be like I need a betablocker, because we had talked
about it a little bit when wewere there and she was like, if
you, if that's something likeyou, it will give you more peace
of mind, like you can totallyhave it.
But I was like I think I'll befine there.
And then I called on Friday andI was like I think I'll be fine
(17:25):
there, okay.
And then I called on Friday andI was like, nope, give it to me.
So I um have been taking a betablocker the past couple of days
to just like ease my mind alittle bit, but I think so it's
a very low dose, so it's notlike I'm really feeling much,
but it is helping my peace ofmind.
Because there was one night Iwas literally laying there like
(17:46):
you're going to have a heartattack and die and like that's
going to be so sad for Josh towake up to that, and I made
myself so anxious that I almostpassed out.
And I think it was also becauseI took my blood pressure, like
a couple of times in a row.
I had there was some time inbetween.
I know you can't like just likeback to back, do it, but I
think, because I was so stressedand giving myself such anxiety
(18:10):
that I was sitting there beinglike I'm going to pass out and
like you know that feeling inyour ears and this it's like
static in your head and I waslike I'm going down.
But I, like what was able towalk into the bed bedroom and
(18:32):
was like, hey, I'm just lettingyou know like I think I'm gonna
pass out.
And he was so dead asleep thathe was like okay, like can I do
anything?
And then I was like I know, I'mjust gonna sit here.
And he was just like, okay, Idon't know what to do.
I didn't end up passing out,but I, when I took my blood
pressure again, it was like inthe, it was like 89 over
something, and I was like, am Istill gonna pass out?
And I, when I took my bloodpressure again, it was like in
the, it was like 89 oversomething, and I was like am I
still gonna pass out?
And so then I laid there thewhole night being like I'm gonna
pass out or I'm gonna have aheart attack, and then like what
(18:53):
do I do?
But I also don't want topreemptively be like, hey, I'm
gonna go to the emergency roombecause I think I'm gonna have a
heart attack and then be likeyou're.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Well, they would say
it's like a panic attack
probably.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yes.
So what I do know now is I washaving a panic attack, but this
whole week I have been just notokay with that and I have a
whole nother week to go.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
I was going to say
we're not.
We're a week away still.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I know I don't go
until Friday, so everyone
comment something nice.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, it's just like.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
So having health
anxiety is like the actual worst
thing that can happen to you, because you're either totally
fine, but your mind is tellingyou that you're not okay.
And then if you're, if youlisten to that and you're like
tell yourself, okay, this isjust your anxiety, it's not real
(19:48):
and you ignore.
Then what if something?
And then your mind is like butwhat if something is really
wrong?
And I'm telling myself, it'sanxiety, but it's actually not
anxiety, it's actually the thingthat is wrong.
And so you're in this constantloop of is it real or is it
anxiety?
Speaker 1 (20:04):
And that is so true
it's horrible, yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
So I probably won't
like come back with, like the
results of my blood work becauselike I'm not ready to face that
on the internet and I'm surelike everything is going to be
fine, other than like as an asyou get older, like I'm sure you
have to, you know, watchcertain things like that.
You didn't have to care aboutwhen you were 18.
But in, in the grand scheme, like I'm sure everything's fine
(20:33):
and everything always is fine.
Whatever my hyper fixation isat the moment, like it's usually
like a yearly or every coupleof years thing where like
something is a super hyperfixation whatever.
And then once I get the resultsof, or I see the doctor and I
am like told everything is fine, then I'm good, yeah, but this
(20:53):
is the most recent one, so we'rewith you.
All of that.
That was so much, but we're onthe up right now.
The blocker has, I guess, helped a little bit.
Today I was like I'm not takingmy blood pressure today, like I
can't.
I can not taking my bloodpressure today, like I can't, I
can't think about it, becauseit's it.
(21:15):
When I take it, I'm nervousabout what it's going to be.
Right, you guys, I'm going tolet this go because I could be
on this loop forever.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
But yeah, cause it is
a loop.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I know and you have
health anxiety too, right?
Speaker 1 (21:26):
So like you get it, I
get it big time.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
I'm more surrendered
to it, I think.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Just take me.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
But yeah, it's still
there.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
If I'm going to have
a heart attack, I'm going to
have a heart attack.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Like I almost had a
panic attack in the parking
garage at the Glendale Galleriaearlier today, but they happen
so frequently for me that I knowwhat they are.
Because of the traffic.
No, it's true, it's just likeone.
I have one weird heart flutterand then like it sends my mind
spiraling and then all of asudden I can't breathe and then
I feel like I'm going to throwup, and then and then I go.
It's just a panic attack Parkthe car.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Do you have beta
blockers?
No, maybe you should get some.
I'll give you a couple.
Is that allowed?
Speaker 1 (22:02):
You heard it here
first folks.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Everyone, like a lot
of people in my life, swear by
them.
Like Caleb is a big fan.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Well, yours are fast
acting.
Are they ones you have to buildup in your system?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I think they're fast
acting, like it's as needed.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
So it's like Xanax.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Yes, but way
different and it's more.
It's what I think, probably foryou.
I guess you could probably alsotalk to your doctor I'm not a
doctor, everyone, so in case youweren but I think it treats the
, the physical things that aregoing on.
So when you're having a panicattack, it like lowers your
heart rate or your bloodpressure and um the like shake,
(22:38):
like if you're like shaking orsweating and things like that,
like it's like in mynon-professional opinion from
what I've heard or researched,it's like those types of
symptoms is what it calms those.
So I honestly think cause Xanaxis like also like makes you
like sleepy and like all thatstuff.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Right, it's a beta
blocker.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
But doesn't it make
you super sleepy?
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I think some people
yeah, to me it was just like.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Xanax is just like
scary Because it's easy to Get
addicted to yes and people outhere Are all like Xanned out
Like that For some reason scaresme.
So when she we talked about acouple and I was like no, xanax.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
None, so Perpanol,
perpanol is.
Oh okay, yeah, nice, anyway, everyone, I'll be okay you will,
she will what else happenedwith you this week?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
this week I had three
shoots.
I went to the red carpetpremiere of zombies.
Four, not one, not two, notthree.
There's four, apparently, okaydisney channel original movie oh
, decom this generation's highschool musical is what they say
okay, was.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Is there anyone in it
that we know?
Speaker 1 (23:51):
well, it's like the
next generation of disney kids.
So everyone on the red carpet?
I didn't know.
But then sabrina bryan came onthe red carpet and I lost my
shit that's exciting a cheetahgirl in live and living color
yeah um the kid that playedlizzie mcguire's brother.
It's like when that group ofDisney people came through.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
I was like those are
mine, those are your people.
The era of DCOM Sitting down onthe couch Just wow what a time.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
So there was that I
had two other shoots at the
Buzzfeed and then In between allthat, I'm trying to shop.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Trying to shop.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Trying to find fits
for the shows this weekend.
And then I went to NewportBeach yesterday, oh, and I got
my hair cut.
You didn't say anything.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
People do that to me
all the time.
I don't look, I don't see.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
It's also a half joke
, because you can't I mean.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
You got a trim.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
She gave me layers
and I, she gave me layers.
Well, I also have headphones on, so you can't really see,
that's also true, but I havelayers and she cut off the dead
ends and my hair is healthy Someinches are gone, but it's for
the greater good.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
You said she, that
means someone new, yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
I went to someone new
.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Because I'm also in
the market.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yeah, I went to my
boyfriend's gal.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
I was like I gotta
get this before yeah if one more
person tells me my hair lookslike a bob speaking of bobs, I'm
gonna punch a wall, so I neededto get something done I think
what I did wrong last time I sawa tiktok of someone explaining
um, I think why I hated I didn'tsay this publicly, but I didn't
love my bob the last time I gotit done and I think it's
(25:31):
because I was so used toFernanda just knowing what I
wanted.
So then when I went to someoneelse and they cut it, I wasn't
clear on.
I wanted a blunt bob.
So I got some layers that Iwasn't interested in, and then I
think that's why it lookeddifferent to me and I didn't
love it.
Yeah, so everyone out there, ifyou're looking for a blunt cut
(25:56):
with no layers, you have tospecify when you go to get your
bob.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Lesson learned.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
So I do.
I think that that's why I neverI couldn't pinpoint it before.
I was like why is this sodifferent?
Like I would said the samething, like I want to look like
a little bit longer in the front.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
I want to like a
little bit longer in the front.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
I want it like
shoulder length or whatever, but
I it's because I was givenlayers and that's on me for not
explaining exactly sure way totake ownership.
I do want to get a little trimand just like a go a little
darker call up salon angelapalermo I know, I do think I'm
going to ask her to cut it, but,um, I don't know, I don't want
to put that on her to colorunless she wants to.
But I also, like I don't knowif a box color is like the
(26:40):
healthiest for anyone's hair.
No, not that I don't trustAngela, I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
I love this woman so
much.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
I'm going to go back
and start to lighten with her.
I'm gonna get a balayage nextmonth work and we're gonna just
lighten and lighten, and lightenand light.
Give me the deets, because Isure will.
Okay, I, oh my gosh, I took thetrain to anaheim.
Oh, so in in the midst of panicattack other the other day yes
um, josh was at work and Icalled him and I was like what
if I just came to the Angelsgame to get my mind off?
Because it was like it wasFriday night and I didn't have
(27:17):
any plans and I was like I don'twant to sit at home and I
didn't.
I also wasn't like last minutegoing to call my friends and be
like what are you guys doing?
Because by that time everyonewho had plans probably had plans
, because it was I don't knowfour o'clock or something.
And I was like what if I justcame to the game?
Speaker 1 (27:36):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
And I was like can I
just come meet you?
And he was like I'm already onmy way, sorry.
And I was like, oh, I coulddrive, but that's going to be
the traffic at that timeTerrible.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Truly.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
And going to Anaheim
like absolutely not rough.
So he was like why don't youcheck the train schedule?
And there was a train that Icould just make like change
really fast, drive to the vannuys like station.
And I took the amtrak and it wasso cute it was like an hour, a
little over an hour ish.
Um ride stopped, had a couplestops.
(28:12):
It was like stopped somewhere, stopped at the burbank airport,
stopped in glendale, downtown la, and then from there there was
like one more stop before it gotto the stadium.
It was like it dropped offright outside the stadium and I
just literally walked under anunderpass and there I was.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Oh my God, that's
cool.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
So it was like super
cute, 20 bucks.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
And got a $17 ticket
to the baseball game.
Oh okay, so cheap becauseangels industry and I just like
watch the game.
Josh came up and said hi, likewhen he had a little break and
then met him after the gamedrove home and I was like this
was like such a nice distractionfor my brain Got a little angel
(28:56):
dog.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Did they win?
Speaker 2 (28:59):
They did.
It went on extra innings.
It actually was too long, theywere tied, no one could score
and then at the last theyeventually won.
But that was that part was alot.
And then I come out, I like I'mtrying to finding to meet josh,
where he was leaving, at anexit that was different than
other people, since he worksthere, and so I'm on the phone
(29:22):
and I'm he's telling me where togo, so I we hang up and I walk
over and I see him and he'ssigning autographs and I was
like listening and he did say hewas like it was little kids and
he was like, just so you guysknow I don't play and but he has
(29:43):
like his like MLB uh uniformand stuff on.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
And they're like we
don't care, and so these kids
just wanted his autograph and itwas the cutest thing ever.
That's really cute but it wasjust funny to walk up to, just
like signing a baseball that wasfunny I loved it.
But um, yeah, the train supercute, love that did angela make
it to your game on wednesday?
Wednesday yes, no she didn't.
(30:11):
Oh, cause she was a Buzzfeed, Isaw.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Right, yeah, but we
got off at four.
She got off at like four.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Yeah, I don't think
that she am I crazy.
I don't think I remember herbeing there.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
She was very much
like well, I guess I should go.
I got off with enough time.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
I now I'm I'm mixing
the two weeks together Um cause
she was there one week, oh thenit was this one, because this
was she hasn't been doing it OnWednesday.
She was like I've never made itto a game.
Okay yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Okay, she did, she
did make it.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Okay, good, what was
she doing there?
I don't know if you can say Ihired her as a PA.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
I needed extra hands
for this shoot and I was, like
everyone that's like alreadypart of BuzzFeed machine.
Who would know how it all goes?
Yeah, it was unavailable exceptfor one guy, and I needed to.
I was like who else do I knowthat has film set experience?
I was going to say you couldcall me but I was like oh, and I
was like Angela, I did work onfirst gentleman and I was a good
(31:05):
PA show runner.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I was PA right.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
You're okay.
I think I did a good job.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Yes, actually you
would have been fine, but I was
just like let me see if Angela'sinterested.
Because, it doesn't pay great.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
But then she's kind
of in the door, she's like, yeah
, why not.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
She did really great.
She was a great PA, she helpedout a lot and we were able to
get the shoot done prettyquickly.
I'm glad she made it tobaseball, softball, dodgeball.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Well, nice glad she
made it to baseball, softball,
dodgeball.
Well, I am also glad you win.
We literally beat them so badly.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
It was like 10 to 1.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
So you guys, might
win this year killing it
crushing crushing.
And my other team, my tuesdayteam we did win this week, but
harder yeah, what's that team Ido?
Speaker 1 (31:51):
think I'm gonna play
on um Labor Day well then, sign
up, because I'm about to backout of it wait why?
Because no one else is signingup and I might, and I might get
a free trip to Palm Springs, butbut I have already paid for
this and I'm committed to ityeah, I just told him because I
wasn't sure.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
But I just told him
on Wednesday that I would okay,
well, we'll see.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Send me proof,
because Karina said she would
too and she didn't.
And it's just me right now, okay, okay, I guess I will stick
to my commitment, all right.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Yeah, you need to
Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Start over.
Start over, start over.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Tonight is the finale
of love Island.
Do you care.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
I can't care.
Do you know?
Did you see any of thecontroversy that happened this
past week?
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Yeah, that's what
we're about to talk about, but,
yes, tonight is the finale, andthen Big Brother has already
started Whoa, so you better getin line.
Get in while it's hot.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Guess who's on Big
Brother.
Yeah, christmas.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Well, no, I had a
dream recently that she came
back on the show, so I was.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
I had to think no,
rachel, rachel, yeah, why?
Because she's bored I guess.
Wow, okay, all right she wasjust on traders.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
She's just trying to
stay in the good for her in the
loop, I guess okay but bigbrother has started.
I haven't watched.
I watched like the first, liketwo minutes of the first episode
and I really wasn't mentallyprepared for it.
So I need to get throughtonight's Love Island.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
And then this coming
week I can allow myself to like
get in the mindset of BigBrother.
Yeah, luckily Big Brother isonly three times a week and I
won't be watching the live feeds, okay, well, love island being
every night has been for humpday stressful, except for hump
day I wasn't watching sundayseither because that was after
(33:41):
sun.
They're like talk show.
So really, yeah, two nights, but yes, the finale is tonight.
There has been controversy thispast week with they removed
Sierra from the villa Postpeople seeing, uncovering old
(34:04):
videos and stories and whateverof her using a racial slur.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Okay, this, by the
way, is not what I was talking
about, so, like I don't know anyof this, so do you know who
Sierra is?
Speaker 2 (34:16):
No, Okay, she um.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
I know a Sierra, but
it's not her one two step, you
know.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
I know a Sierra.
So this um contestant and shewas paired with this guy named
Nick and cute girl.
She kind of became part of likea little bit of a mean girl
click, which was people startedbeing down on her.
And so then, as soon as peopledon't like you yes, as soon as
(34:44):
people don't like you thenthat's when the digging starts
happening.
Okay, that's when the diggingstarts happening, okay, and
people found these um, I thinkit was a video or a story, a
screenshot of a story that sheput out where she was saying, um
, that she gets Botox near hereyes to open them up a little,
(35:08):
but she used um, a slur against, like the Asian community, if
you can imagine, and then it inmore digging.
It was like she had used that inan instagram caption back in
like 20, the mid 2010s, like2015, 2016, like that type of
time, where she had said it thenand then it came out that when
(35:30):
she did the one recently, likelast year or something, was the
original screenshot that peoplefound when she was talking about
the Botox, that someone hadmessaged her and been like, hey,
that's offensive.
And she, um, um, apologized orwhatever, I think, and then
maybe there was like one moretime that it was used, so it was
(35:51):
like something that's in hervernacular, basically, and
because she was corrected andthen, like, still used it, it
was like, oh, people are peoplejust went in on her.
It got a little far, likepeople involved her family and
stuff, and she's Latina, I think, hispanic descent in some way.
(36:13):
Sorry, I don't know reallyexactly her ethnicity, but, um,
people were like called ice onher family and stuff and like
that is crazy, like, uh, she gotremoved and I think that that
was the right decision, sincethey had removed ulyssa from the
beginning beginning.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Yes, I remember that.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
So like they were
consistent, even though, like
Sierra, had been there for awhile, she had been a favorite
and it's like a week until thefinale, and I was like I don't
think they're going to removeher because it's so close to the
finale, but they did likeovernight.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
The next morning,
after, like people were really
going in on her, she was gonethe next episode and they they
just said she was removed orwhatever.
Um, so that has been thecontroversy, and she came out
with an apology video by thetime she got home.
And it wasn't.
It was.
It was, uh, art, shearticulated well, but I don't
think that people really boughtall of it, because she used the
(37:14):
phrase holding space a lot.
She was like I'm no longerholding space for this slur or
something, and it was likeholding space.
People were not a fan of herusing holding space, but this is
what she looks like.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Okay, yeah, I
remember the one episode I
watched.
Yeah, so that is that thefinale is tonight.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Um, okay, yeah, I
remember the one episode I
watched.
Yeah, so that is that thefinale is tonight.
Thank god, the guy she was withIs now with Alandria.
Do you remember her?
I do, and people are reallyliking.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Because they More
than Nicolandria, oh, that's
them.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
That's them, so we'll
see, but I think that Amaya
Papaya Is gonna win.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Love Island is ending
that, so we'll see, but I think
that Amaya Papaya is going towin Okay.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Love Island is ending
.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
That's all I just
needed to tell you.
But since you don't know that, you didn't know the drama, then
I'm just informing you thatthere was drama.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
I should hope so.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Reality TV.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
What are your
thoughts on?
I guess the precedent of likeif you're on television and
something comes out like what'sthe statute of limitations on
removal.
Like if she hadn't had the.
The Instagram story about theBotox was like last year, if
(38:28):
that wasn't it, and someonefound something from 2015,.
Like is that?
No, we, someone found somethingfrom 2015 like is that?
Speaker 1 (38:33):
no, we've talked
about this.
I think that, yeah, as long asthere's like they're, they are
not.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
It's like what
happened with tana and brooke
brooke yeah, yeah, like I think, because both of theirs were
recent.
You listen at the beginning.
You're right, we did talk aboutit when you listen.
I got kicked out.
They were so recent that it'slike we can't.
This is too close to you rightnow.
Yes, and if it's said in duringfilming, which with love Island
(39:01):
, they, because they're editing, they would just wouldn't put it
in the edit and then no onewould know.
But because on big brother andstuff with the live feeds, as
soon as someone says something, the guy in big brother UK with
our celebrity big brother withJojo and there's been countless
people on big brother us thatsay something and it's on the
(39:25):
live feeds and the fans clock itimmediately and then it's like,
well, we have to remove you nowbecause you said it in real
time right and I don't know, butif it was just the 2015 thing,
I think I would have not been.
I think that she probably willwould have needed to hear about
(39:47):
it or address it when she gotout and just be like I.
I, you know it's not, it wasthis many years ago.
It doesn't change the fact thatI said it, but I am sorry.
You know what I mean.
Like you do need to be like okay, I acknowledge that this was
wrong to say, but again, like we, our childhood was a different
(40:09):
time.
I guess she's younger, but likewhen we were younger.
I can't believe how many peoplein regular life said the F slur
, the R slur, like all thosethings.
It was just like so in theworld, in music, in movies.
I think I just saw a movie thatsomeone said something crazy
(40:33):
that I was like Whoa, that couldnever happen today.
I wish I could remember, but Ithink it was our word and it was
just like like wild, yeah, likethe like people in school.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
when I was in school
used to say the R word without
the R E.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
It yes, no, the what
I'm thinking of.
I forget the show, but it wasum the t word.
This is hard to say umreferring to oh yeah yeah yeah
that was in a show.
It could have been like friendsor something and I was like
(41:07):
wild, yeah.
But anyway, sorry about her, Iguess yeah she'll, she'll have
to deal with it and whateveryeah I do hope that she feels
like understands and isn't justlike because her apology.
she was wearing like asweatshirt that said empathy and
(41:31):
she had like a Jade necklacewhich I guess has like some sort
of significance in, and it wasjust like she's trying hard to
be like feel sorry for me andkind of like.
The empathy sweater was likevery it felt it was like I'm
putting this on because I'mabout to do this, so that's why
people aren't really buying it.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
That sucks.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
Do you, are you ready
for you know what time it is I
am.
Are you going to sing?
Speaker 1 (41:57):
it.
It's time for.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
A-list of the week.
Ooh, I liked that Mango stickyrice.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Okay, elaborate.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
Have you ever had it?
Speaker 1 (42:07):
Of course, and you've
actually talked about it before
.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Was it an A-list of
the week already, or was it just
like I had?
Speaker 1 (42:12):
it.
No, you were just talking aboutit.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
I just had it today.
That's why I remembered it,Because it is like mango season
right now summertime.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
It is summertime.
I have mango in the fridgeright now.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
We had lunch from.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
Josh's favorite Thai
place.
Oh yeah, Is it Sun Sunset Thai?
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Summer Canteen.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Nope, okay, have you
ever had that?
Speaker 2 (42:30):
No, but summer it's
pretty good.
Summer what did I say SunsetThai?
Speaker 1 (42:34):
has mango sticky rice
.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
I think most Thai
places probably do it this time
of year, but I just had itearlier and it was delicious, so
I just wanted everyone to knowit's mango season, get your
mangoes and if you have theopportunity, to order mango
sticky rice, do it because it'sdelicious.
I love that.
(42:55):
What's yours?
Speaker 1 (42:56):
my list of the week
is the backstreet boys album,
album millennium, because I'mgoing to their residency in
vegas, millennium 2.0 I mightneed some merch you let me know
if there's like a cute crew neckor t-shirt or something, I
might need you to send me aquick.
Have you seen any of the videosfrom their opening night?
Speaker 2 (43:17):
I have because Reagan
has sent them to me and I've
seen them on Tik Tok.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
It's pretty crazy
Like the set of this at the
sphere is insane, but it isinteresting to see it how we've
progressed to a place wherethere's no backup dancers now.
I don't like that.
I'm in.
I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
I think it's because,
well, do you think it's because
the sphere has so much going on?
Also, do you need a zofran noare you worried?
Oh, I think I would be if wewere high up okay, I would be so
worried about being nauseousbecause even in the videos I'm
like whoa no, I'm ready for it.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
I'm probably gonna be
.
It be, it's going to be fine.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
Oh my God, I'm going
to be barred out.
Is that what you're about tosay?
I was going to say barred out,no.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
But I was just like,
yeah, it looks very impressive,
but it's like seeing theBackstreet Boys without dancers.
It could also be that theresidency is only Fridays and
Saturdays and maybe it's justlike hard to like.
How do you employ dancers forjust two days, two nights a week
?
Speaker 2 (44:11):
You just do.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
You're right, it's
Vegas.
You're right.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
They just would.
It's like a it's a gig.
Yeah, they would just probablypay for some cheap housing in
Vegas and they would have arehearsal or two midweek and
then they would have you'reright the show.
Like that's weird to me.
There's obviously it's a groupof them, it's not just a single
singer, but I think it's weirdthat there's no dancers.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
It's interesting.
I am excited and I do.
I've been listening to thealbum they re-released.
It called Millennium 2.0.
And it's got some liveperformances from their show in
Indianapolis, Indiana.
I'm going to have fun.
And then the new version of IWant it that Way, which everyone
go listen.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
Yeah, he was telling
me earlier it's got some new
lyrics.
Yeah, it's crazy, no one'sgoing to sing Like I'm so sorry,
no one's singing that.
Speaker 1 (44:57):
We're going to listen
to it after this.
Speaker 2 (44:58):
Two things.
One, I do think that I've seenthe Backstreet Boys a couple
times in concert because mysister is a New Kids on the
Block fan and they toured withthem a couple times, and so I
feel like I've been to like twoof those concerts where they
were together.
One time it was like also TLCand Nelly and someone else.
(45:22):
I will say I think that theydidn't have other dancers there
either.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Oh my God, wait, it's
a boy band.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Maybe they don't have
other dancers yeah, I don't
think NSYN ink ever did right, Idon't know.
Yeah, I don't think they do ohokay, so debunked I guess.
The second thing is have youlistened to jb's?
Speaker 1 (45:42):
jb's I just started
to and I like the song daisies.
I think it's cute I do.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
I'm just like kind of
bored with this style, I'm
sorry is it more of the same?
Yeah, what he's been doing.
Yeah, yeah, it's just like notmy vibe.
Yeah, give me one.
Is it one world?
Speaker 1 (46:01):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
What's that Um?
One his album like from when hemy world is that what it's
called, I think it's called myWorld and then it's my World 2.0
.
Oh my gosh.
The acoustic version.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
I have it on CD.
How many?
I told you it's so good myWorld.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
Yeah, I liked that.
Believe was good too.
I just like haven't cared afterthat.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
I like the one that
has um.
Yes, you do, we both.
You love the album.
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (46:39):
I like that singular
song, but that song sounds
different than all of these noton that album.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
They all sound like
that when it where's.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (46:49):
I don't know it could
have been you I don't know that
song what about the one thatparis?
Oh, that's what do you mean?
Speaker 2 (47:00):
yeah, what do you
mean?
Speaker 1 (47:01):
doesn't sound like so
that was his last like full pop
out.
Yeah, it was very pop purpose2015 purpose you'll give me
purpose love yourself, yeah yeahthis vibe is what I like, I
don't like the last two albums, yeah and I didn't care for
journals either journals 2013.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
What's on that?
Speaker 1 (47:27):
you might not even
recognize it was a kind of an
indie release.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
Yeah, I don't
recognize any of them.
Um Christmas album.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Yes, I'm in the
mistletoe and my world acoustic.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
Everyone go listen to
that.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
It's so good it's so
good.
Speaker 2 (47:42):
But yeah, I just
don't care and I am happy for
him to be releasing music again.
Speaker 1 (47:47):

Speaker 2 (47:48):

him to go on tour for all the
girlies that like need to see jbagain I got to see him perform
