In reality I have a crazy likerash happening around my right
eye and these just deflect alittle bit Um the chemical peel
that I got last Wednesday.

post-t post treatment stuff.
Then I can go back to my normalskincare routine and everything
10 days from now or 10 daysfrom the treatment 10 days from
tomorrow.
So after 10 days from when youfinish the post treatment, got

Let's talk about your Buzzfeedparty debut.

You guys.
So Buzzfeed party debuthappened um last Wednesday.
It went really well, so I youall know that I already told my
schedule, so you guys know thatday was crazy for me.
It did play out exactly as I hadpredicted it was going to.
I left, went to the facial.
Here's the crazy thing when Iwas getting this peel done it
was a microneedling first andthen it was the chemical peel.

So boyfriend went first and hegot microneedled and his
forehead started to have areaction like little little you
know, like blood spots.
I guess you know microneedling.
It's like you know micro needle.
Yeah, it says it right in thetitle there, and so I was like
oh man, like what?

am I going to look like that will?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
probably fade, but like, if that happens to me, is
it?
Am I going to look like this oncamera?
Yeah, by the grace of God, myskin did not react.
She, even she was like yourskin is really accepting this
quite nicely.
Good, I had a little bit ofpatchiness like on my jaw, left
side of my jaw, and then like bymy right ear, but otherwise I
just looked shiny, but like inyour beard.

So it was like less I had no beard.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
I was completely shaved out oh okay, which, by
the way, that was a trip.
People like people don'trealize how much this actually
adds to my look.
So with like something'sdifferent about you, what is it?

Yeah.
When I saw on the, when I tunedinto the live stream cause I'm
a good friend yes, that's right.
Um, I was like something isn'tthat's it?
No facial hair, yeah.

So you could see it, but otherwise I was just shiny.
I was like okay, this isamazing actually.

We were interviewed, they, they, they, they showed our trailer.
Everything went great.
We got to talk to a lot of funpeople.
It was very successful.

were so nice and we had such afun time with them, like really

So that was a 12-hour day, so Iwas at the BuzzFeed party.

I had two drinks before we wenton and then one after.
Okay, just loosened up, youknow, yeah.
And then left, left,immediately, went to sleep
because I had to be back thereat 8 am for the k-pop shoot
which was all day.
I got home at 9 45 pm and thenthankfully worked from home

friday, which was great, becauseI woke up.
I was like, yeah, it's a littlelike thursday, even on set all
day.
I was just shiny yeah like alittle bit of flakiness started,
but like nothing like what Iwas preparing for.

Friday morning woke up feeling the same, I was like
okay, and then by by 3 PM it waslike Alison, it was it would
have died.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
No, I, literally that picture you sent me like gave
me such a like bad feeling thatI just wanted to peel it and I
would have gone crazy well andguys, just you know it peels
like when you have sunburn rightand that heals and I didn't
know this.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
But like you're never supposed to pull the dead skin
off because yeah right, we alldo it.
But it was like with this peelspecifically, she was like haha,
yeah, yeah, we all do that, butunder no circumstances are you
to peel your skin what happensso because there's so much
intense like work getting doneif you peel it cause it turns

really dark, the skin that'scoming off.
If you peel it and it goes intoa part that could peel but it's
not starting to peel yet, thenyou're pulling it out off before
it's done, pulling out thecolor.
And she showed a picture ofwhat it looks like.
It's spotty Gotcha and not likea cute freckly way In, like it
looks like liver spots Okay.
So I'm like not trying to havethat right.
No, so I'm not touching my face, I'm obeying the rules.

But the amount of times I'm dryheaving, because, by the way,
boyf came and stayed with meFriday night so we could be
lizards together.

I was telling Alex when I got I got my eyebrows
micro bladed in 2020 and thatwas like a two week, like 14 day
downtime where I couldn't getthem wet, I couldn't work out, I
couldn't touch them, I couldn'tdo anything.
Yeah, and it was the worst twoweeks of my life Like trying to

wash my face, trying to wash myhair.
My face was like when you gothat long without like scrubbing
, the dead skin off your facelike you can't exfoliate.
No, I felt so disgusting.
It was the worst time of mylife.

So it was wild to not be able to exfoliate.

It's not worth it to me.

Well, you will see what you say in 10 days, when

Oh, I was looking up laser hairremoval because I'm interested
I went to get my brazilian today, of course, and when I left I
was like this is like annoyingand like what if I just switch
to laser and then it's never,then I don't have to do it again

Like six months.

You're like free and clear and so I was like trying
to look up pricing and stufflike that.
And then I I on the website Isaw the after care and it is
kind of a lot of aftercare.

It's like only for like what, six months, right,
and then you're supposedlyhairless for life.

I guess, I don't know .
Yeah, for like four days afteryour treatment, there's like
things you have to do and thatfeels like a lot to me.

Yeah, because.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Because I only have literally like a day of don't
get in a hot tub and likewhatever.
Before you're like I have toget into a hot tub.

That's really the only thing.
It's like don't do the deedlike the night of and don't like
get into a hot tub or like warmwater that could have bacteria
in it.

I can handle that for a day.

Or a pool probably.
But, like the hot water is likeeven worse.
Yeah, and that's really it, andit's like yeah.
I don't know.
It just feels like.

I'm stressed about.
And most beauty things do havedowntime I guess botox and that
is why we do it yes, but everynight after I get botox, I am

freaking out, freaking out thatI'm going to accidentally turn
over and sleep on my head, whichI have never done in my life
yeah, but that night you willand like creating a dent or
something yeah, like pushing it,and for a while like I wasn't
even touching my face, and shewas like, and I was like worried
about doing makeup and and shewas like, well, you can put the
makeup on, like you can rub likelightly on your skin, don't

just like push in.
And I was like, oh, I justthought touching it at all would
be no good, no good.
Like I would ruin it.

So yeah, it's a lot.
It has been a lot.
I will say, like it'srecommended that, like you we
got, I got this one and it'srecommended that within three
months you do it again.

I'm sure it is.

And then the maintenance is like every year
to 18 months.

That's how they get you I don't like right now
because like it hasn't been thatbad, but again, like we set
ourselves up for this like twomonths in advance, it was like
we're not going to do anythingon the weekend.

I don't know, if I have it inme to do it again in four months

I'll tell you how I did it, buthere's the thing I can handle
most discomfort and pain.
I feel like I'm kind of in thisconstant state of one of those
things at all times, whatever.
But one thing I can't is if Ihave a sore in my mouth, if I've
bit my tongue, if I've bit mylip or my cheek or my lips are
so chapped and I can't havechapstick on them.
That is one of the mostabsolute irritating feelings to

me that I can't handle, and Iwoke up Sunday with lips so
chapped that you know when itlike goes outside the lip, no
day with lips so chapped thatyou know when it like goes
outside the lip.
No, like I'm sure you've seen it, maybe not on you, but like
when something like out.
The corners were like all redbecause it's just the mask
working through, but it driedeverything out, yeah there was
no amount of chapstick thatcould keep like.

yeah but I was doing it as likeI'm not gonna let this ruin my

We get in the car and I'm hotas hell, super uncomfortable,

In that moment I realized I hadmade a terrible mistake.

I was expecting way worse.

irritation with my mouth.

So I was like, is she mean like actual temperature?
Like he's a calm person, he'soh, like actual temperature.
We're the same, okay, yes, wevery rarely like he'll get a
little chilly in the car, butnot in a way that, like he turns
the air to a place where I'mlike but we both like to sleep
in the cold Body.
Temperatures are also prettysimilar, so it makes cuddling

But I think also it's the typeof air conditioning Like once
there's a central airconditioning.
Situation I think that I willbe way more regulated.

I've noticed like if I leave,if my hand is on his leg and I
leave it there for too long,like that makes him

something under it or like Ineed to just move.
So I'm learning that I've gotlike about 15 to 20 seconds per

He announced today that he is uh, starting a podcast called rock
bottom um with the peopleexclusive.

Try Guys and I was like I wonderif he went to the BuzzFeed
