SPEAKER_03 (00:00):
I had to do blood work today.

SPEAKER_01 (00:03):
How met how many vials?

SPEAKER_03 (00:04):
Eight.

SPEAKER_01 (00:05):
Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_03 (00:06):
She was like, we're getting eight vials.
I was like, what's fantastic.
It was like, well, looks likehe's testing for a lot.

SPEAKER_01 (00:13):
Dang.

SPEAKER_03 (00:14):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (00:15):
Did you know what he was testing for?

SPEAKER_03 (00:17):
I mean, he may have told me at my doctor's
appointment, but my doctor'sappointment was back in August.
This was the earliestappointment they had to do the
blood work.

SPEAKER_01 (00:24):
This is just like regular, this is like
cholesterol.

SPEAKER_03 (00:27):
I imagine, yeah.
Testosterone.
Probably when I told him that Iwas of the gay, I'm sure he
added on all the STD tests.

SPEAKER_01 (00:36):
Yeah.
I think they do that for straitstoo.

SPEAKER_03 (00:39):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (00:39):
If you're if you haven't had one in a while.

SPEAKER_03 (00:42):
Right.
But yeah, pretty standard.
And then like they're not doinglike they wouldn't give they're
not.
They he said whenever they usedto do blood work and then go
over the results the same day.
But there was something aboutpeople like not showing up to do
the blood work or something.

(01:02):
What I don't really remember, but he said, so now they don't
do that anymore.
You they schedule your bloodwork and then then you're
physical to go over everything.
That's not my experience that Ijust had, but also not normal,
but like I don't know, maybeit's because of the insurance I
have.
But yeah, whatever the case, Ihave to go back next week for a
full physical.

SPEAKER_01 (01:22):
That actually is really dumb.

unknown (01:23):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (01:24):
I feel like it's normally like physical.
They order the blood work andthen they'll like call you and
be like, everything looks good,or they'll be like, come back in
if if they really need to talkabout something.

SPEAKER_03 (01:37):
The way that this hospital is doing it.
Like when I went for my firstappointment to get established
with them, I thought that wasgonna be my physical.

SPEAKER_04 (01:44):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (01:44):
But it was really just like they got my medical
history, they heard my concerns, like they got all of my
medication, like they made moreof like my file.

SPEAKER_01 (01:54):
Couldn't that have been, you know, like a
telehealth?

SPEAKER_03 (01:57):
Right.

SPEAKER_01 (01:57):
You know?

SPEAKER_03 (01:58):
Could have.

SPEAKER_01 (01:59):
Well, I'm sorry that that happened.

SPEAKER_03 (02:02):
But it didn't pass out, is the point.
Yeah.
I fasted.
I went and I did it.

SPEAKER_00 (02:08):
Then they were like 8 30.
That's okay.

SPEAKER_03 (02:10):
Yeah.
I couldn't eat after midnight,which is fine, I don't anyway.
Please, please don't pull overthat bin.
He just keeps pulling that binover because he loves it.
He's doing it.

SPEAKER_01 (02:22):
I wish you guys could see or hear this.
Stanley has pulled out his wholetoy bin.

SPEAKER_03 (02:29):
Allison gifted Stanley this Christmas toy bin
that he loves.
Every year when I put theChristmas.

SPEAKER_01 (02:35):
Yeah, I feel like he's like re forgets it, and
then when he sees it, he's like, this is my favorite.

SPEAKER_03 (02:41):
When I carried it in from the garage, he started
leaping.
It has these pom-poms on thefront, you guys, and he grabs
the pom-poms and then drags thebin around, tips it over just to
dig through it.

SPEAKER_01 (02:51):
Well, his little mouth, it's something that he
can actually grab onto.
I was gonna say, can they seeyour village behind you in the
camera?

SPEAKER_03 (02:58):
Yes, you can.
See my village and my two of mystockers.
It's very Christmassy.
I think in this, you can see thereflection of the tree in this.

SPEAKER_01 (03:05):
I love that.

SPEAKER_03 (03:06):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (03:07):
Like the um treetopper is a disco ball.

SPEAKER_03 (03:10):
Yeah, those are all my decorations from last year.
You can't see it, but my Titanicornament from Allison is right
here, front and center.
Chad loves this.
He was like, this is a greatornament.

SPEAKER_05 (03:20):
Thank you.

SPEAKER_03 (03:20):
Um there's my really gay Christm this year ornament.
Do you see it?

SPEAKER_01 (03:24):
Oh, yeah.
Did you get it from the mall?

SPEAKER_03 (03:26):
No, it's like a mallet.
Did you see my Christmas lightsoutside?
Allison.
Oh.

unknown (03:34):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (03:35):
Well, in the spirit of Christmas, let's start the
pod.
Oh.

SPEAKER_03 (03:53):
Welcome back to the A-list podcast with Allison and
Alex.
That's Allison.
I'm Alex.

SPEAKER_01 (03:59):
That wasn't a good segue.

SPEAKER_03 (04:01):
It wasn't, but that because you run a roll like two
weeks in a row, you were doingreally good segues.
Segwise.

SPEAKER_01 (04:06):
Segui.

SPEAKER_03 (04:07):
Anyway.

SPEAKER_01 (04:08):
What's happening?
What have you done today on thisVeterans Day?

SPEAKER_03 (04:12):
Worked.
I was at the office today.
This is not a bank holiday.

SPEAKER_00 (04:16):
We're recording Veterans.

SPEAKER_03 (04:19):
This has been more of like a day that I've been
really focusing on mymanifestation because it's 1111.

SPEAKER_00 (04:24):
Ah.

SPEAKER_03 (04:25):
You know, listening to some Mel Robbins, some
manifestation music, and justtrying to stay in my
manifestation music.
Um manifestation music is at acertain hurts.
Like it's like a vibrationalfrequency.
But also just like music thatisn't like sad and depressing.

SPEAKER_01 (04:42):
You're not supposed to listen to I don't do that
anyway.

SPEAKER_03 (04:47):
You you definitely do.

SPEAKER_01 (04:49):
Hmm.
Come on, skinny love.
Just last year.
Yeah, but that's just to danceto.
That's not like to like thinkabout.

SPEAKER_05 (04:58):
No, you're right.

SPEAKER_01 (04:59):
Bonnie Bear.
Yeah.
Um, yeah, I don't just likelisten to sad music.
I actually reject sad music.
When I'm sad, I don't listen tosad music.
I listen to like rap.

SPEAKER_03 (05:08):
Hardcore hip hop insane clown posse.

SPEAKER_01 (05:11):
No, never.

SPEAKER_03 (05:12):
No, never.
ICP.

SPEAKER_01 (05:14):
But I don't like to sit.
It's like probably not a goodthing.
You know, a therapist wouldprobably say, maybe not.
But I like to not think aboutthe sadness, and I like to just
do other things.

SPEAKER_03 (05:27):
Be blissfully unaware.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Um, other news.
So Saturday I got into my carwith a boyfriend, and it made a
weird noise when I started it.
I was like, Did you hear that?

SPEAKER_01 (05:42):
Oh, the car.
I thought you said I made it.

SPEAKER_03 (05:44):
No.
Yeah, I was like, the car made aweird noise.
He was like, No, we go to ourdestination, we go take it back
in the car.
My car won't start.

SPEAKER_00 (05:53):
Oh no.

SPEAKER_03 (05:55):
I was like, okay, whatever.
I'm not gonna handle deal withthis now.
So I have this little technologyis amazing.
I have this thing that's like alittle, it looks like a tiny
little b battery for your phone, but it jump starts your car.

SPEAKER_00 (06:09):
Oh.

SPEAKER_03 (06:09):
Has two little clamps.
I've never used it before.
I just have it in case ofemergency.

SPEAKER_00 (06:14):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (06:15):
I was like, I will be shocked if this works.
Yeah.
Hooked it up to my battery, youpress this little button, it
goes ding, and then your carstarts.

SPEAKER_00 (06:22):
I have to get this.

SPEAKER_03 (06:23):
$20 on Amazon.

SPEAKER_00 (06:25):
Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_03 (06:26):
That and my air compressor that I carry around.
Like everyone should have thesetwo things in their car.

SPEAKER_00 (06:30):
Yeah, in my opinion.
You should make a TikTok.

SPEAKER_03 (06:32):
I will make a TikTok.
Actually, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (06:34):
You should.

SPEAKER_03 (06:35):
I should.
Um anyway.
I have been needing an oilchange for a long time and
putting it off because you it'snever just that.

SPEAKER_01 (06:44):
No, they're gonna be in the city.

SPEAKER_03 (06:46):
You don't know this, you don't live this life
anymore.

SPEAKER_01 (06:47):
But but I did, and I was so bad at it, and that's one
reason that I wanted an electriccar because I was always over.

SPEAKER_03 (06:54):
I mean, I'm way over.
Yeah.
So I was like, I just don't wantto face the dot the zeros that
they're gonna put at the end ofthe one.
Yeah.
But I was like, I can't, Iobviously need a new battery and
I can't, whatever.
I love the guy that works on mycar though, because I go to a
Mitsubishi dealership.
I've gone to them, I've had mycar for five years now.
I've gone to them since I gotit, and he's never scammed me.

(07:18):
He's always like, here's whatreally should be done, here's
what could wait, blah, blah,blah.

SPEAKER_05 (07:21):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (07:22):
And like I have little annoying things going on
with my car.
Like, for some reason, theremote and like you can press
the, you know, just the handleand it'll unlock the car.

SPEAKER_01 (07:29):
Oh, yeah.
Which I never understand.
I push it in every time.

SPEAKER_03 (07:32):
Yes, everyone does when they use my the opening my
trunk.
But the driver's side and passdriver's side driver's driver's
side passenger door will notunlock anymore.
Like with the remote or with me,I have to use the key, which is
so old school and annoying.

SPEAKER_04 (07:47):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (07:47):
So I was like, that that needs to be checked out.
My like uh thing that sprays mywasher fluid, like just kind of
like spits out of the one on thedriver's side, so it always
smears.
So I was like, okay, whatever.
But I'm gonna say, I don't wantto spend a ton of money, just
give it, give me the absolutenecess necessary things,
obviously a battery.
And I had gotten like a nail inmy tire back in July.

(08:10):
I took it to American Tirebecause in case you guys don't
know this, you can take your, ifyou have like a small slow
league, you can take go to anyAmerican Tire depot and they can
they will repair it for free.

SPEAKER_04 (08:21):
Oh.

SPEAKER_03 (08:22):
And then check your tires.
They repaired it and they werelike, you're gonna need new
tires, ASAP.
And you know me, like I Ianticipate that sometime in the
winter season I'm gonna be goingto Big Bear, and you can't have
bad tires if you go to coldweather.
So I was like, he's gonna tellme you need whatever.
So I go to the I scheduled thisappointment for first thing
Monday morning.
I get well, the earliestappointment they had was 12.

(08:44):
It's like what I and I know thatit takes a while, so I'm just
gonna take my work and work fromthere.
Long story longer, apparently, they he comes out, his uh, he's
like, Hey, well, can't you comeback here so we can go over?
And he took me to the back.
I was like, Oh god.

SPEAKER_01 (09:00):
No.
It's like you're being told likeyou're in the hospital and like
someone's passed away.

SPEAKER_03 (09:05):
Yeah.
He's like, okay, if we dideverything that needs to be
done, it's$2,600.

SPEAKER_01 (09:10):
Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03 (09:10):
And I was like, Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (09:12):
All right, start taking things off.

SPEAKER_03 (09:13):
Yeah, I was like, he was like, and I will tell you,
the most expensive thing thatneeds fixed is your door locks.

SPEAKER_01 (09:17):
He's like, Well, I would've yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (09:19):
He's like, I have never he's like, this happens.
I've never seen it happen on thesame side.
Did you have, did you get in anaccident?
Did anyone hit you?
I was like, not that I'm awareof.
He's like, I didn't see any bodydamage, but like you never see
it like this.

SPEAKER_01 (09:31):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (09:31):
He's like, it's so random.

SPEAKER_01 (09:33):
Quote with the labor.

SPEAKER_03 (09:35):
Yeah, that was the total to have everything done.
Labor is the most expensivepart.

SPEAKER_01 (09:38):
Yeah, they have to take off the doors after them.

SPEAKER_03 (09:40):
To take off those, and I and like obviously that's
not prudent to my car operating.
So I was immediately like, thenget them the hell off of this.

SPEAKER_00 (09:47):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (09:47):
He's like, okay, I we can wait on it because those
two things together were fifteenhundred dollars.

SPEAKER_00 (09:52):
Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03 (09:53):
Of the 2600.

SPEAKER_00 (09:54):
Okay.

SPEAKER_03 (09:55):
So I was like, buy.

unknown (09:57):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (09:57):
I was like, so is this tires?
He's like, no, you've still gotlike 10,000 miles on your tires.

SPEAKER_01 (10:01):
Even the one with the nail in it?

SPEAKER_03 (10:03):
Yeah, and he saw that too.
He's like, Yeah, the repair isreally well done.
Like these tires have plenty oftread.
You probably got eight to tenthousand.
I was like, Thank God he I sawhim.

SPEAKER_00 (10:10):
Yeah.
Wow.

SPEAKER_03 (10:11):
And that will save me.
I was like, how?
I haven't changed these tiressince I got the car.
He's like, these tires wereprobably eighteen hundred
dollars a tire.

SPEAKER_01 (10:18):
It pays to get good tires.

SPEAKER_03 (10:19):
It sure does.

SPEAKER_01 (10:20):
I think I probably need new tires.

SPEAKER_03 (10:23):
God took that tread.
Anyway, um, the battery's stillunder warranty, so I only had to
pay for the labor to replace thebattery.

SPEAKER_01 (10:29):
Wow.
And that has to be that's easy, right?
They just pop it in, pop it out.

SPEAKER_03 (10:32):
Exactly.
My oil needed changed, standard.
They needed to do, I haven't hada transmission flush since I got
the car.
You're supposed to do that atlike 50,000 miles.
I'm at 70,000 miles.
So that makes sense.
Then he goes, other thing that'sI'm gonna say is like absolutely
necessary is you do have an oilleak because you have a hose
that is like completely busted.
And I was like, How have I notseen oil anywhere?

(10:53):
He's like, Well, that's what Iwanted to show you.
My engine is covered in oil.
He's like, so that's likeleaking.
He's like, it's just messy andgross.
Like, we'll clean it up, butlike this, you absolutely need
to have a new hose becauseyou're just gonna lose oil
pressure.

SPEAKER_04 (11:06):
Okay.

SPEAKER_03 (11:07):
So I was like, okay, well, taking off that stuff,
it's still gonna be like 1,300.
I was like, fine, just do it.
Like, I need this stuff done.
That man took off like$500.
I only ended up paying$900 tohave all that stuff.
Yes.
He's like, I I was able to findsome cookies for Christmas.

(11:29):
He's the best.
Well, I love them, I love TimMcGreat review.
And again, I always go back tohim and I always tell people,
like, if like they do, theydon't do just Mitsubishi, but I
go there because it is whatever.

SPEAKER_01 (11:39):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (11:40):
So I'm gonna hold off on the door locks because
that's ridiculous.
It's just like annoying that youhave to manually it is, but I'm
not kidding you.
It feels like a new car.

SPEAKER_01 (11:48):
Love it.

SPEAKER_03 (11:48):
He was like, with the with and he added new, like
he added more steering fluid,whatever.
I got in this car after, and ittook four and a half hours.
I was there for four and a halfhours, but it's like driving a
new car.

SPEAKER_00 (11:59):
Wow.

SPEAKER_03 (11:59):
So then I just cooled it.
I was like, okay, I've gotta coI've gotta pump the brakes
because but now like that neededto get done.
Now my car's operating.

SPEAKER_01 (12:07):
It's cheaper than it dying, and you have it to get a
whole new car.

SPEAKER_03 (12:11):
100%.

SPEAKER_01 (12:12):
So that is like main top two reasons that I wanted an
electric car.

SPEAKER_03 (12:19):
No more oil change.

SPEAKER_01 (12:20):
Yeah, I'm just like, I'm never gonna be good at it.

SPEAKER_03 (12:23):
Right.

SPEAKER_01 (12:24):
It's too expensive.

SPEAKER_03 (12:25):
And it's like so often.
It's like as soon as you havejust gotten one, all of a sudden
you need another one.

SPEAKER_01 (12:30):
And as much as you drive here because you have to
drive everywhere in LA, correct?
It goes so fast.

SPEAKER_03 (12:36):
Yeah.
So my Sunday was filled with alot of anxiety because I was
like, what's it gonna call?

SPEAKER_00 (12:40):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (12:41):
But wasn't that bad.

SPEAKER_00 (12:43):
That's good.

SPEAKER_03 (12:44):
Yeah.
And then obviously, as you cansee, decorated for Christmas.

SPEAKER_01 (12:48):
That took away some anxiety.

SPEAKER_03 (12:49):
Sure did, because I did do that on Sunday.
I was like, I gotta distract.

SPEAKER_01 (12:52):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (12:53):
And then everything is starting to slow down in the
entertainment world, which islike such a real.

SPEAKER_01 (12:58):
This is like the time, yeah.
That's good.

SPEAKER_03 (13:00):
And I have hopefully a couple gigs coming up side
things because BuzzFeed whenthat like they c they're closed
for so much of November andDecember, and you they don't you
don't get paid unless you'reit's a working day.
Like there's no because I'm notfull-time.
Got it.
So just doing the thing, youknow?

SPEAKER_01 (13:17):
Okay.

SPEAKER_03 (13:18):
So sorry.
How are you?

SPEAKER_01 (13:20):
I'm good.
I just want to comment on youryou're wearing another college
outfit.

SPEAKER_03 (13:23):
As soon as I put this on, I was like, she's gonna
make a note about my collegiateI do love it though.

SPEAKER_01 (13:27):
IU.

SPEAKER_03 (13:28):
AUS.

SPEAKER_01 (13:30):
No, they just I don't think they do that.

SPEAKER_03 (13:32):
Go Indiana.

SPEAKER_01 (13:33):
I think it's just like Hoosers.
Hoo-hoo hoosiers, maybe.
I don't know.
I'm not an IU student.

SPEAKER_03 (13:38):
So Hoosiers are hoo-hoo hoosiers, and ball state
is chirp, chirp.

SPEAKER_01 (13:42):
Yeah, it's very gay.

SPEAKER_03 (13:44):
It's very gay.

SPEAKER_01 (13:46):
Um, what is happening?
What happened this weekend?
Nothing.

SPEAKER_03 (13:51):
Did you care that David Letterman went to Ball
State?

SPEAKER_01 (13:55):
I didn't care, but it is a we have two, we have
like a handful of people thatare famous, I suppose.
Uh-huh.
But the two big ones were DavidLetterman's one because he had a
the communications like buildingbuilding and program is all like

(14:15):
based around him and he's a biglike donor of it.
But he had a uh what's it calledin the you get money?

SPEAKER_03 (14:25):
Scholarship.

SPEAKER_01 (14:26):
Scholarship.
I couldn't think.
I was gonna say fundraiser.
Uh scholarship that was likespecifically for like C students
because he was a C student.
That's kind of cool.
So he has a scholarship for likejust being an average student.
I don't know what the otherrequirements are.
And you might have to becommunications or something like
that.

SPEAKER_03 (14:44):
Name low, and you'll get a scholarship.

SPEAKER_01 (14:46):
Yeah, I guess.
So that was like lore around theschool, it was like crazy.
Yeah, that is funny.
And then the guy who plays Billyin Hocus Pocus went to ball
state.
Daniel.

SPEAKER_03 (15:00):
He's in everything.
He's in everything.
He always plays like a ganglytall creature.
Okay, while you look that up.
My salad is sitting outside.

SPEAKER_01 (15:08):
Okay.
His name is Doug Jones.

SPEAKER_03 (15:12):
Doug Jones.

SPEAKER_01 (15:13):
And he was the other like super famous person that we
would talk about that went toBall State.
He's been in.

SPEAKER_03 (15:20):
Let me guess.

SPEAKER_01 (15:21):
Okay.

SPEAKER_03 (15:22):
Hocus Pocus.

SPEAKER_00 (15:24):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (15:25):
Um, the way water moves, the movement of water,
the something of water.
Guillermo del Toro's.

SPEAKER_01 (15:34):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (15:34):
The way water moves.
What is it called?
The shape of the shape of water.

SPEAKER_01 (15:38):
I was.
Um Hellboy Pan's Labyrinth.
Hellboy Two Crimson Peak.
The Shape of Water.
Hocus Pocus.
Fantastic Four Rise of theSilver Surfer.
Ouija, Origin of Evil, FallingSkies, What We Do in the
Shadows, Star Trek Discovery.

(16:00):
It's because he's like such atall, tall, lanky, lanky and
like very prominent features, but he is always like in
prosthetics.

SPEAKER_03 (16:09):
Yeah, because he has they accentuate his like
sharpness.

SPEAKER_01 (16:12):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (16:12):
Good for him.

SPEAKER_01 (16:14):
He was born in Indianapolis, attended Bishop
Chattered High School, graduatedBall State University, where he
parlayed his background as amime into portraying the
schoolmaster Charlie Cardinal.
So he was the mascot.

SPEAKER_03 (16:27):
Chirp chirp Charlie Cardinal.

SPEAKER_01 (16:29):
Charlie Cardinal.
So yeah, that was.
I'm sure there's other famouspeople, probably.
Besides me.

SPEAKER_03 (16:35):
Besides you, yes.

SPEAKER_01 (16:37):
Um, but yeah, this weekend, um Is this where the
fitness marshal went?
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (16:43):
Represent.

SPEAKER_01 (16:44):
The fitness marshal went to IU.
Haley and I went to Ball State.
That's right.
I have to look at the dates toknow what you did.
Yeah, like I don't even I don'tknow.
Yeah, this was a chill weekend.

SPEAKER_03 (16:59):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (17:00):
But now I can talk about what I couldn't talk about
a few weeks ago.

SPEAKER_03 (17:05):
Yes.

SPEAKER_01 (17:05):
Because by the time this comes out, Now You See Me 3
has been released in theaters, and the really exciting thing
that I got to do a few weeksago.

SPEAKER_03 (17:17):
Well, give some background in case you don't
know.
Allison loves these movies.

SPEAKER_01 (17:21):
Uh yeah.
If you don't know, I don't knowhow you don't know.
You know my love for JesseEisenberg.
And speaking of Indiana.
Speaking of Indiana, he wears anIU hat everywhere he goes.
I keep seeing um videos of him.

SPEAKER_03 (17:32):
Didn't he wear the movie he was in?

unknown (17:35):
Huh?

SPEAKER_03 (17:36):
Wasn't he just in a movie with Kieran Colkin?
He wears an IU hat.

SPEAKER_01 (17:39):
He does.
Like, yeah, they went to umstarts with a P.
What's the country in Europe?
No.
Country in Europe.
Poland.
Poland.
Yeah, it's like a discoverymovie where they go to like um
see ancestr like an ancestor orlike a great-grandma's house or

(18:00):
something in Poland that waslike taken to the concentration
camps, and then they go to theconcentration camps and they
like learn about it, and it'slike this very poignant, like
serious kind of movie about hislike cousin and him like having
the these experiences together.
I saw it, I really enjoyed it.
It's not like something I'lllike watch a bunch again.

SPEAKER_03 (18:23):
It's no now you see me, now you see me too.

SPEAKER_01 (18:25):
No, but uh along with Jesse Eisenberg, one of the
other loves of my life is magic.
Magic.
And I love magic so much.
I love to watch magic.
I love um magicians.

SPEAKER_03 (18:40):
She loves to be tricked.

SPEAKER_01 (18:42):
No, um You love a trick.
Yeah, I don't want to be trickedmyself.
Please don't trick.
But I love the fanfare.
I love the um you know artistry.

SPEAKER_03 (18:54):
Yeah, the artistry is something.

SPEAKER_01 (18:56):
Uh David Blaine is also my my uh never forget.
So anyway, love those two thingstogether.
So obviously the movies Now YouSee Me, Now You See Me Too, big
fan of.

SPEAKER_03 (19:08):
Big fan.

SPEAKER_01 (19:09):
And um a friend of mine learned this and was like,
I got you, and hooked us up withbeing able to see a uh advanced
screening of it.
And so Josh and I got to go waluh see Now You See Me Three,

(19:30):
really before a lot of peopledid.
And it was like one of the mostexciting things I've ever done.
Wow.
And loved it.
Big fan.
That's my list of the weekalready.

SPEAKER_03 (19:41):
Do you think it's better than episode two, season
the second one?
Which wasn't bad, but like kindof not as memorable as the
first.

SPEAKER_01 (19:47):
Yeah, I do think it's better than the second one.
I think it goes first, third, second.
Yeah.
Um, because this one, not togive like any plot points away,
but this also incorporates someelements of like escape room
vibes.

SPEAKER_03 (20:02):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (20:02):
And you know, I also love an escape room, so that was
very fun to me too.

SPEAKER_03 (20:07):
I am excited.

SPEAKER_01 (20:08):
So highly recommend go see it.
That was just like one of thecool things of like living in a
place like this where peoplehave really cool jobs in the
industry, and like you neverknow who you are gonna meet
that's gonna be like, oh, likethat thing you love, like I have
a hookup for that.

(20:29):
And that was sick.
So that's what I got to do a fewweekends ago that I like wasn't
really allowed to say.
Love, but now I can.
So go watch the movie.

SPEAKER_03 (20:39):
And I will.

SPEAKER_01 (20:41):
Please.

SPEAKER_03 (20:42):
Yes, please do.
Please do.

SPEAKER_01 (20:44):
What else was I did we record?

SPEAKER_03 (20:47):
Have you volleyballed?
No.
Have you dodgeballed since werecorded, or did we record?

SPEAKER_01 (20:51):
No, we recorded on Friday and this is Tuesday.
Yeah.
So tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the finals.

SPEAKER_03 (20:56):
Well, game one.

SPEAKER_01 (20:58):
Yeah.
So we'll see.
I'm feeling good about it.
Um, we have some like Josh canplay, Michael's gonna play,
because we have some people thatare so you got subs for the
finals?
Yes.
We got some good subs is whatI'm saying.
And plus Josh can play becausenormally he hasn't been able to.

SPEAKER_04 (21:17):
Right.

SPEAKER_01 (21:18):
So it should be good.

SPEAKER_03 (21:19):
Oh, that'll be fun.

SPEAKER_01 (21:20):
I think we'll win.

SPEAKER_03 (21:21):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (21:22):
Knock on wood.
That is actually wood.

SPEAKER_03 (21:25):
Yep.

SPEAKER_01 (21:25):
Stanley didn't like that.

SPEAKER_03 (21:26):
No, sorry, buddy.

SPEAKER_01 (21:28):
Um, the other thing.
I guess that's kind ofentertainment-y that I wanted to
talk about is the cast ofTraders US has been announced.

SPEAKER_03 (21:41):
I know, I saw, I saw, I saw, I saw.

SPEAKER_01 (21:43):
And I thought we should talk about it.
Although, where did Oh, there itwent.

SPEAKER_03 (21:48):
I am initially so most excited that Natalie will
be on.

SPEAKER_01 (21:53):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (21:53):
I am a big fan of hers from the Survivor world,
and I am stoked to see hergameplay.

SPEAKER_01 (21:58):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (21:59):
Someone's coming back.

SPEAKER_01 (22:01):
Dorinda.
Dorinda, yeah.
Yeah.
So, okay, I'll go down the list.
Um Natalie Anderson fromSurvivor.
Yam Yam from Survivor.
I think he's in a recent that Ihaven't watched.
Mark Ballis from Dancing withthe Stars.

SPEAKER_03 (22:18):
His hair is very long.
Gorgeous.

SPEAKER_01 (22:21):
And I've been still kind of loosely keeping up with
Dancing with Stars, but I'm kindof bored.

SPEAKER_04 (22:26):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (22:27):
So that's my check-in on that.
Kind of bored.
Rob Sesternino from Survivor, who I love.
He was in season like seven.

SPEAKER_04 (22:39):
Oh yeah.
Like very OG.

SPEAKER_01 (22:41):
And he um has the network of podcasts that do all
reality TV breakdowns that I'malways listening to.
So like during the Big Brotherseason, they have like a
correspondent that does uh livefeed updates every morning.
So like you can that's fun.
Uh like tune in the next morningand they say like a breakdown of
everything that went down on thefeeds the night before.

(23:03):
Okay, yeah.
Because I'm not a feeds watcher,but I am interested in what's
going on.
So like I will listen to thoselike while the um season's going
on.
So he I have kept up with himpodcasting for a long time.
So excited about him.
Steven Colletti from LagunaBeach slash One Tree Hill.
Very excited about that.

(23:25):
Candace Dillard Bassett from TheReal Housewives of Potomac.

SPEAKER_04 (23:29):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (23:30):
I don't know her, but she looks cute.
Um Ron Funches.
Funches?
I don't know how to pronouncehis last name.
Comedian.

SPEAKER_03 (23:41):
Is it Funke?

SPEAKER_01 (23:43):
Funke?
I don't know.
F-U-N-C-H-E-S.
I'm so sorry to him that I don'tknow how to say his name.
Um Mora Higgins from LoveIsland.
She is the host of the UK, LoveIsland.
Oh, fun.
Okay.
She's really cute, and I thinkshe'll be fun.
Donna Kelsey, Travis Kelsey'smom.

(24:03):
That is wild.
So random.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Like, do you think this is likeher lifelong dream?
Yeah, something in there.
Travis and Taylor were like,we're gonna make this happen for
you.

SPEAKER_03 (24:13):
Well, and Jason, like they both have clout.

SPEAKER_01 (24:15):
Yeah.
Do you or do you think someonereached out and was like this
will be random and funny?
Yeah, but how do you know she'sgonna be good TV?
She's done like two interviewswhere like commercial.
Yeah.
But it's like we don't know herpersonality really.
I know it is interesting.
So I'm very interested to see.
Kristen Kish, uh, top chef, alsoa host on other food network

(24:40):
things.
I think I don't know pronouns.
She.

SPEAKER_05 (24:46):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (24:47):
Um is dope.
Oh yeah.
I any show that I've seen herlike as the host on, I'm like,
she's cool.
So I think she'll be good.
Fun.
Tara Lopinski.
Yeah.
Olympic figure skater.
I was obsessed with her inmiddle school.
That would be good.
I feel like you would be too.
Oh, hell yeah.
I'd love that.
Uh Dorinda Medley from The RealHouse of New York.

(25:09):
She is back because she had avery quick exit.
She was the first to bemurdered.

SPEAKER_03 (25:14):
That's right, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (25:15):
And she was very upset about it.
Tiffany Mitchell from BigBrother.
She was on the season with umthe big Alliance, the cookout.

SPEAKER_03 (25:28):
Oh, right.

SPEAKER_01 (25:29):
She was on that season.
And she was very good at um thedeceptiveness of the game, very
smart with that.
So I think she'll be good.
I honestly could see her being atrader.
Yeah.
To be honest.
Monet Exchange from RuPaul's.

SPEAKER_03 (25:44):
Gotta have a drag queen.

SPEAKER_01 (25:45):
Yeah.
It would have been really funfor uh her and Bob to be on the
same season.
Yeah, yeah.
I would have liked that.

SPEAKER_03 (25:53):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (25:53):
Maybe Bob will make an appearance.
That'd be fun.
Eric Nom.
Have you has he been a Buzzfeed?

SPEAKER_03 (26:01):
I don't think so.

SPEAKER_01 (26:02):
He's a K-pop singer.

SPEAKER_03 (26:04):
Oh.
And oh right.
I've not done anything with him.

SPEAKER_01 (26:07):
He's great.
Like, I'm so this is so nicheand random.
And like.

SPEAKER_03 (26:11):
But they're gonna get K-pop fans to watch.

SPEAKER_01 (26:13):
Oh, for sure.
This like I have been, he does alot of um American slash English
music.
Got it.
Okay.
So I think he is more likeAmericanized than like when he
first started.
But he used to host this showthat when BTS was on the rise,

(26:35):
he hosted this like after schoolshow that like they would go on
a lot.
And it was like him and thisother girl, this him and this
girl.
And it's just so niche.
Like I would like watch theseclips back when I was like in
the BTS fandom, and it would behim hosting this show where they
would just go kind of like a TRLthing.

(26:56):
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
And they would just like playgames and like I don't know,
just a way for K pop stars toget more content out.
And then he has a solo act, andhe's such a great singer, and
this is so random.
So I don't know, but I'm excitedfor it.

SPEAKER_03 (27:12):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (27:12):
Uh Michael Rappapore, big um reality TV
fan.
So I know that he's excitedabout this.
He's a huge Real Housewives fan.

SPEAKER_03 (27:23):
Oh, really?

SPEAKER_01 (27:24):
Yeah, he's like in the fandom, always on Watch What
Happens Live, knows everything.
Like it's so random that I knoweven though that, but he's like
really into it real TV.
So I think he'll take it veryseriously.
Fun.
Rob Rausch from Love Island acouple seasons ago.

SPEAKER_04 (27:42):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (27:43):
Breakout Hottie and uh Snake Catcher.
Right?
Yeah, he's the guy who likescatches snakes.

SPEAKER_04 (27:51):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (27:52):
Um, I think he'll be honestly, I think it'll be
boring.
Yeah.
I think he's just gonna likewalk around and be like, yeah, I
don't know.

SPEAKER_03 (27:59):
Or will he surprise us?

SPEAKER_01 (28:00):
Maybe.
I don't know.
I just don't, I can't imaginewhat he's just gonna like try to
be catching snakes and animalsaround the castle.
Just be like, yeah, I don't knowwho the traitor is.

SPEAKER_03 (28:13):
He will be our what it was, who was that last season
that was like that?

SPEAKER_01 (28:17):
Hmm.

SPEAKER_03 (28:18):
Um the guy ever we love to make fun of him.

SPEAKER_00 (28:22):
Oh no, what do you look like?

SPEAKER_03 (28:24):
He's the guy with the scandal from Vanderpump.

SPEAKER_01 (28:27):
Tom Sandoval.
Tom Sandoval.
Although, like, he's not he'slike more likable than Tom, and
he's way cooler.

SPEAKER_04 (28:33):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (28:34):
So it's gonna be like he's attractive, and like
it'll be fun to look at him, Iguess.
And the challenges I'm surehe'll like be good at, but like
I can't imagine he's gonna bringmuch to the table.

SPEAKER_03 (28:44):
Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (28:45):
We'll see though.

SPEAKER_03 (28:46):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (28:47):
Lisa Renna from The Real Housewives of Beverly
Hills.

SPEAKER_03 (28:50):
Love that.

SPEAKER_01 (28:51):
Caroline Stanberry from The Real Housewives of
Dubai.
I've heard the name, I don'tknow her.
She's also on Ladies of London, the show.

SPEAKER_03 (28:59):
Nope, don't know it.

SPEAKER_01 (29:01):
And then Ian Terry, winner of Big Brother 14.
He will not be a traitor in mymind, because like, unlike Dan
Giesling, he like won the gameand he's so like good
analytically, but he's hedoesn't give traitor vibes.
Like Dan was like sneaky and youknow, yeah, a little sinister.

SPEAKER_04 (29:26):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (29:26):
But Ian's like sweet boy, just like really nice and
smart and like you know goldretriever.
Yeah, yeah.
Uh and then Colton Underwood, who we see as everywhere.

SPEAKER_03 (29:46):
Love this for him, though.

SPEAKER_01 (29:47):
He's everywhere, and now he is on our TV.
Is he married?

SPEAKER_03 (29:51):
Yeah, he's married and has a baby.

SPEAKER_01 (29:52):
Colton Brown Underwood.

SPEAKER_03 (29:54):
Oh.
Hyphenated.

SPEAKER_01 (29:56):
Hyphenated.
I cannot believe that.
We see him everywhere we go innow.
So random.

SPEAKER_03 (30:04):
I love it.

SPEAKER_01 (30:05):
But yeah, good for him.

SPEAKER_03 (30:06):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (30:06):
Uh Johnny Weir, figure skater.

SPEAKER_03 (30:08):
Oh yeah.
Fun.

SPEAKER_01 (30:10):
We'll be serving looks and fun.
And then Portia Williams fromThe Real Housewives of Atlanta.
That's it.

SPEAKER_03 (30:19):
Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (30:20):
Very excited.

SPEAKER_03 (30:21):
Now my question is, I can't remember.
Is the show already done?
They've kept it under wraps, oris it like there's because it
airs in January.

SPEAKER_01 (30:28):
So Yeah, that's why I was like, why are they telling
us this right now?

SPEAKER_03 (30:31):
Is it like actively shooting right now to air in
January?

SPEAKER_00 (30:35):
Because I don't know.

SPEAKER_03 (30:36):
I just feel like these celebrities are too big, a
lot of them, for them to be gonefor like seven to eight weeks
without people catching on toit, you know?

SPEAKER_01 (30:45):
Yeah.
I don't know.
I I don't think I've ever reallyheard the schedule of filming
for them.
So I'm not sure.
Because like we know otherreality shows, like we know how
Survivor films and they filmtwice two at a time, and then
it's like a year ahead.

SPEAKER_05 (31:03):
Yep.

SPEAKER_01 (31:04):
I don't think it's that far ahead.
Like either they filmed just nowand rapped and then this is
announced, or yeah, they'refilming now.
Or they're gonna be filming andthen air it.
I don't know.
But yeah, I'm excited aboutthat.

SPEAKER_03 (31:22):
That will be good.
Yeah, I'm I'm excited for thatas well.
And it's probably my favoritereality show.
Competition, realitycompetition.
It's too hard for me.

SPEAKER_01 (31:31):
I watched too many of them.

SPEAKER_03 (31:32):
Big Brother's entertaining also.

SPEAKER_00 (31:34):
Did you watch last season?

SPEAKER_03 (31:36):
No.

SPEAKER_00 (31:36):
When was last time you watched Big Brother?

SPEAKER_03 (31:38):
The year before.

SPEAKER_00 (31:39):
Okay.

SPEAKER_03 (31:40):
But you know who I like some of my favorite reality
people come from Big Brother.

SPEAKER_00 (31:43):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (31:44):
I would love to see Christmas be on Traders.

SPEAKER_01 (31:47):
Oh God.
Um, I wouldn't, but No.
Uh Amazing Race is on right now.
I'm watching it.
It's all Big Brother.

SPEAKER_03 (31:54):
And we're not there?

SPEAKER_01 (31:55):
I know.
It's all Big Brother players.

SPEAKER_03 (31:57):
Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01 (31:57):
Either either two Big Brother player teams or a
big brother person and like afamily member of theirs.
Oh, okay.
Um, actually, I'll tell youwho's on it.
It's actually a good season.
It's I think there's been likefour episodes, so if you want to
jump in.
Okay, we have uh Enzo from likeseason.

SPEAKER_03 (32:17):
Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (32:18):
Yeah.
He unfortunately was firsteliminated.
Spoiler alert.
It was tough for him.
It was him and his brother.
Angela from her and herdaughter.
Oh cute.
Matt.
Oh, Matt from not this season, but the season before.
He wore like hippie long hair.

(32:38):
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Yeah, him and his girlfriend.
Kat Dunn.
She's from Big Brother21.
Blonde.
I feel like you've got to be afew.
Have you seen her face?

SPEAKER_03 (32:48):
Do you have a picture?

SPEAKER_01 (32:49):
I can in two seconds.
I feel like you've seen her.

SPEAKER_03 (32:54):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (32:56):
Her and her boyfriend, fiance, something.
Hannah Chada from Big Brother23.

SPEAKER_03 (33:09):
Okay.
Is Nicole on?

SPEAKER_01 (33:12):
Nicole?
Uh, she's not.
She's already been on liketwice, I think.
Uh Rubina from her and hersister.
Natalie Negrati.
She's from season 18.
She also has been in othershows.
I don't know if you know her.
Izzy from Big Brother 25.
Uh, her and her partner.

(33:33):
Chelsea from Big This past BigBrother, her and her dad.
Jag from Big Brother 25, him andhis brother, Joseph and his
brother from Big Brother 24.
Kyland and Taylor winner TaylorHale.
Uh they're dating and are takingare on a team.

(33:55):
And then um Tucker from thislast season, not this season,
that just aired the seasonbefore, who I believe I don't
know if he what how well he did,but him and his brother.
So it's all big brother people.
And correct me if I'm wrong.

SPEAKER_03 (34:12):
Was Derek in a season of traitors?
Yeah, he was, right?

SPEAKER_01 (34:16):
With um Dan.

SPEAKER_03 (34:21):
Dan.
Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (34:23):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (34:24):
Okay, yeah, that's why he's at the forefront of my
mind.

SPEAKER_01 (34:26):
Yeah.
Wish he had been a traitor.

unknown (34:28):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (34:29):
I feel like he would have been good at it.

SPEAKER_03 (34:30):
He would have.

SPEAKER_01 (34:32):
So that's that.

SPEAKER_03 (34:33):
Lots of fun things happening in reality TV.

SPEAKER_01 (34:35):
Always.
What are your thoughts on Trumpfalling asleep?
I know this is like fall, notnot to be political, but what's
your thoughts on a presidentfalling asleep during a press
briefing?

SPEAKER_03 (34:46):
Like being I don't even know about that.
So that's how disconnected I am.

SPEAKER_01 (34:51):
Okay.
There was like a press briefingon on Ozimpic or something.
And okay, let me go back.
And he's just dozing off.
And I understand.

(35:11):
It's a tough, it's boring.

SPEAKER_03 (35:15):
That is what every white man in church looks like
during the sermon.

SPEAKER_01 (35:19):
I get it, it's boring.
But like kind of crazy, right?

SPEAKER_03 (35:22):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (35:23):
And what I thought was crazier, I again, this is
like literally nothing aboutpolitics, like whatever.
It's just like a funny thingthat any president could no one
is being like tapping him on theshoulder and being like, don't
pan over there.
Like keep on or like no one'ssaying that.
And then I saw some of thecomments on a video of like of

(35:48):
it.
Yeah.
And it was all like I get it,like twenty, you know, if he
needs a 20-minute nap, let him.
And it's like, what?
This is a official White Housepress briefing.
No.
You say, hey everyone, we'regonna have to cut this one
short.

SPEAKER_02 (36:07):
I mean to take five.

SPEAKER_01 (36:08):
We're gonna cut this one short, and then you're gonna
take him and you're gonna say,Hey, why don't you go laid down
and we'll return to this uhbriefing in about 30, 45.

SPEAKER_03 (36:18):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (36:19):
That's not a normal thing.
You can't just be like, yeah,it's cool.
The president needed to shut hiseyes.
Wild.

SPEAKER_03 (36:27):
It is wild.

SPEAKER_01 (36:28):
I don't know.
I just like could not, Icouldn't believe it.

unknown (36:31):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (36:33):
Um, okay, and this other thing I saw that I wanted
to say is I saw this TikTok.
This is just like, I don't evenhave words for this.
This is a crazy world that welive in.
I saw this video of this girl, and she's like, hey, I'm just
making this video because I wasbeing followed by not one, not

(36:53):
two, but three men.
Because I think she was going tolike a train station or a bus
station or something.
And she said, they literallywould not leave me alone until
I, this is like funny but notfunny, until I ripped out my
used pad, waved it in the air atthem, and started scream singing

(37:14):
disease by Lady Gaga.
She said I couldn't think ofanything else.
Uh probably.
I don't I don't think I saw.

SPEAKER_03 (37:25):
But these men bothering her, like she was in
heat, so they like were on her.

SPEAKER_01 (37:32):
Who knows?
Like, were they going to trafficher?
Were they gonna beat her up?
Were they gonna steal something?
I don't know.
But the fact that they the I sawsome comments that were so true.
It's like they were moredisgusted by her period pad than
the fact that like they weregonna assault her.

SPEAKER_03 (37:51):
Yeah.
Like that is whether they wereassaulting her.

SPEAKER_01 (37:54):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, harassing her.
I'm sorry.
Like this is like women aredriven to act, do something like
that, and look crazy, forced todo something crazy in order to
protect themselves.
Scream singing disease, my ladyKaga is actually really funny.

unknown (38:12):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (38:13):
But I just like not funny, but whoa.
Like disgusting, but also wild.

SPEAKER_04 (38:21):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (38:21):
I don't know.
I had actually had that to bringup last week, but then we didn't
get to it.
And I just needed to PSA to thegirls out there.
I got I guess this is what willkeep them away.

SPEAKER_03 (38:35):
Yeah.
Get out your pads.

SPEAKER_01 (38:37):
Some girl was like, noted, I'm gonna like pour some
around, yeah.
On me because oh, you're sogrossed out by my period.

SPEAKER_03 (38:50):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (38:51):
But like you're harassing me.

SPEAKER_03 (38:53):
Men who harass women and would go as far as to like
assault them like that would begrossed out with something like
that.
So maybe that is smart for womento keep even just like a fake
use tampon or something, throwit at them.

SPEAKER_00 (39:04):
Throw it at them.

SPEAKER_03 (39:05):
Throw it at him.
Well, I'm excited.
I mean, the biggest news is ourLord and Savior Hillary Duff
announcing a mini tour.
I am signed up on every possiblething.
I told boyfriend, never hasthere been a more important time
for you to use your PR contactsthan this, which to his credit,
he's like, it's one show in LA.
It's gonna be very difficult.

(39:26):
But it is at the Wiltern, andthe Wiltern is a large venue.
It's where I had my collegegraduation.
Um also I saw Jess Glynn performthere, and it was the most
boring show ever.
Sorry, Jess.

SPEAKER_01 (39:34):
Is that in K-town?

SPEAKER_03 (39:36):
It's the Wiltern.
So it's on Wilshire and Western, the corner of Wilshire and
Western.

SPEAKER_01 (39:41):
That's where we saw Jojo.

SPEAKER_03 (39:43):
It was, yeah, she was at the Wiltern.

SPEAKER_01 (39:45):
Okay, so venue, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (39:48):
I don't expect that I'm gonna get through, but Lord
knows I'm gonna try.

SPEAKER_01 (39:52):
Okay.
Please let me know.

SPEAKER_03 (39:54):
If there's if there's I'm gonna try for four.

SPEAKER_01 (39:57):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (39:58):
I'll let you know.

SPEAKER_01 (39:59):
I honestly didn't know she was coming here.
I thought I heard just Europe.

SPEAKER_03 (40:03):
Two in Europe, New York and LA.

SPEAKER_01 (40:06):
All right.

SPEAKER_03 (40:07):
And according to Shane Pussy.

SPEAKER_01 (40:13):
Oh.
Why can't I Shane Pussy?

SPEAKER_03 (40:19):
No.

SPEAKER_01 (40:19):
Now you've made me not Jake Shane.

SPEAKER_03 (40:22):
Jake Shane had her on his podcast, and she didn't
not say that she wouldn'tpossibly be performing What
Dreams Are Made Of.
And that, ladies and gentlemen.

SPEAKER_01 (40:32):
I didn't make it through.
I've seen her on other podcasts, and I feel like she was a little
bit more.
I think she was kind of weird onhis podcast.

SPEAKER_03 (40:40):
My takeaway was like, it's like she doesn't
remember anything.
I know.
Was it you talking about thistoo?
Yeah, and you're absolutelyright.

SPEAKER_01 (40:46):
We talked about it on the podcast.
I think we talked about it afterwe um Well, but I listened, and
you're not wrong.

SPEAKER_03 (40:51):
It's literally like she's just kind of like maybe
dissociated from that time inher life, or like because she
was in that strange marriage andlike a lot happened that she
just kind of Yeah, I think likeprior to younger, she has no
idea.

SPEAKER_01 (41:06):
And I I get it and I feel bad.

SPEAKER_03 (41:09):
I mean, also like my cousin used to do her floral
arrangements in her home.

SPEAKER_01 (41:12):
Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (41:13):
And she would say things like that, like Hillary
was is very like likenonchalant, kind of chill.
Like at one point, just handedmy cousin her child, like brand
new baby.
I was like, Can you hold her fora second?
Just like went about somebusiness, and yeah, it's just so
funny.

SPEAKER_01 (41:27):
I wonder what medications she might be on.

SPEAKER_03 (41:30):
Yeah.
She looks great, by the way.

SPEAKER_01 (41:32):
She does look great.
And and it wasn't a badinterview, but I've seen her on
other interviews, namely my Lordand Savior, Josh Pegg.

SPEAKER_03 (41:40):
Well, I liked her on that one.

SPEAKER_01 (41:41):
Yeah, I thought she had so much personality.
So that's why I was like, maybeshe was just nervous because it
is like she is releasing, wasreleasing the song, and she had
anxiety of like how it was gonnabe received.
So maybe she was just like alittle bit the song has grown on
me a lot.
Yeah, I don't hate it.
I've seen people that do hateit, and I'm just like, I don't
know.
She's not gonna release the samesongs that she's done for she's

(42:03):
not gonna release Come Cleanfrom 2.0, but also like it was a
slow burn for me.

SPEAKER_03 (42:08):
It took a second, yeah.
I'm like, but I'm reallyenjoying it.

SPEAKER_01 (42:12):
Yeah, I I'm not like obsessed, but I'm not mad about
it.
I feel neutral.
She looks I was driving theother day and I got the itch to
listen to a bunch of 90scountry.

SPEAKER_02 (42:30):
I had that itch a month ago.

SPEAKER_01 (42:32):
Shania, Reba, Tim McGraw.
I was listening toChattahoochie.

SPEAKER_02 (42:38):
Or did you listen to You Say Best Baby when you say
nothing at all?

SPEAKER_01 (42:45):
No, but good song.

SPEAKER_02 (42:46):
It's a good one.

SPEAKER_01 (42:47):
I listened to Check Yes and No.
Ah, yeah.
I listened to Way Down Yonder onthe Chattahoochee.
Uh, what's that auction song?
She's an eight, she's a nine,she's a ten on no, she's got I
don't know that one.

SPEAKER_03 (43:00):
Six o'clock on Friday, eating mama didn't know
she's leaving.
Did you hear the screen doorsign man?
Rubber squealing.
Here's our jam and local countrystation just up there and on the
radio.
What is that song?

SPEAKER_00 (43:08):
Who's that?

SPEAKER_03 (43:09):
Picking up a zivan in there.
Ain't going down till the suncomes up.
I ain't giving and till Igiving.

SPEAKER_00 (43:15):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (43:16):
I don't think any of his music's on a stream
platform, though, Garth.

SPEAKER_00 (43:19):
What is it?

SPEAKER_03 (43:19):
Garth Brooks.

SPEAKER_00 (43:20):
You know?

SPEAKER_03 (43:21):
I think isn't that his whole thing?
Is he doesn't allow his music tobe on any streaming platform.

SPEAKER_01 (43:24):
You know, I actually haven't looked into it.

SPEAKER_03 (43:26):
And I haven't.

SPEAKER_01 (43:27):
Because I haven't thought about any of those songs
for so long.
But I just I think I heardsomeone mention something or I
heard what is the what is theTim McGraw song that I started
with?

SPEAKER_02 (43:41):
When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my
favorite song.

SPEAKER_03 (43:48):
I really want debut Taylor's version.
Please, Taylor.
Please.

SPEAKER_01 (43:53):
Nah, she answers it now.
She doesn't care.
Something like that.
Dang d-day.

SPEAKER_03 (43:59):
I had a barbecue stain in my white t-shirt.
She was killing me in that miniskirt.

SPEAKER_01 (44:05):
Yeah, I heard someone say that.
And I was like, gotta listen tothat right now.
And then I like it.
I love it.

SPEAKER_03 (44:12):
I want some more of it.

SPEAKER_01 (44:13):
Yeah, had a great time.
That's like, I don't listen tocountry now, don't really care.
But 90s, late 90s.

SPEAKER_02 (44:20):
She's in love with the boy.

SPEAKER_03 (44:22):
Did you listen to that one?

SPEAKER_01 (44:23):
Strawberry wine.
Strawberry wine.
So good.
Unmatched.

SPEAKER_03 (44:30):
Wow.
90s country is great.

SPEAKER_01 (44:32):
So so good.

SPEAKER_03 (44:33):
We and rhymes.

SPEAKER_01 (44:34):
Um that's my A-list of the week.

SPEAKER_03 (44:36):
You have two.

SPEAKER_01 (44:37):
I have three.

SPEAKER_03 (44:38):
I'm gonna piggyback off yours.

SPEAKER_01 (44:40):
Okay.
So it's time for A-list of theweek.
So first one was Now You See MeThree.

SPEAKER_03 (44:47):
Now You See Me, Now You Don't, is what it's called.

SPEAKER_01 (44:50):
Sure.
Didn't know that.
Watched it, didn't know that.
Number two, 90s Country.
Yeah.
Number three, finish NobodyWants This season two.
And cried a lot.

SPEAKER_03 (45:06):
I think the ending was nice, but it's like I cannot
get over the product placementin this show.

SPEAKER_01 (45:11):
Yeah.
I I think that my likeundiagnosed ADHD or ADD.
Just misses it.
I just miss it.
I mean Which is nice.

SPEAKER_03 (45:19):
Especially the face products.
Like they really hold on thoseshots when she's like dropping
the drawing.

SPEAKER_01 (45:24):
Oh, yeah, when she was in the girls' house.
Was that what was?
Hey guys, spoiler alert.
I'm gonna cut this in.

SPEAKER_03 (45:31):
I'm talking about Kristen Bell.
So you're talking about anothertime that that happened.

SPEAKER_01 (45:34):
Yeah, when they're at the influencers um Leighton
Measter?
Leighton Measter.
I just heard no Blair Waldorf, you know?

SPEAKER_03 (45:41):
Oh right, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (45:42):
Yeah, when she's putting on her products and her
in the bathroom, yeah.
So you watched it.
What were your thoughts?

SPEAKER_03 (45:49):
I like season one way better.
I think they like the the sisterand the therapist storyline
happened so fast that it waslike it wasn't believable.
Like we were expected to justlike get on board with it when
Kristen Bell's character got onboard with it, and it was just
like, no, but it the veryepisode before this, she was
like at a dinner party trying tolike figure out why this dude.

(46:12):
I don't know.

SPEAKER_01 (46:12):
I was just But I think that is also why Kristen's
Bell character Kristen Bell'scharacter was like, What?
Like, why are you acting likethis?

SPEAKER_03 (46:19):
Like you Right, which I think is justifiable,
but then her the way she waslike, Oh, but this has been
happening for a while.
Well, why why wasn't softintroduced in the first episode?

SPEAKER_01 (46:27):
Yeah, there could have been a little comment of
like, I'm flirting with Iflirted with my therapist, or I
don't know.

SPEAKER_03 (46:34):
Is her name Morgan, the character?
Yes.
I love her though.
That character is so funny.
I love her so much.

SPEAKER_01 (46:39):
And now I can't decide are her and the brother
gonna get together.

SPEAKER_03 (46:43):
Yes.
You do think they're setting usup for that.
I loved the scene.
They did but then they didn't.
I know.
I loved the scene with her andthe mom in the bathroom.

SPEAKER_00 (46:53):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (46:53):
I was like, oh, this is good.
This was a good characterdevelopment.
Yeah.
I liked that scene a lot.

SPEAKER_01 (46:57):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (46:57):
So I mean, of course, I'm gonna watch season
three.

SPEAKER_01 (47:00):
It's just yeah, I had a good time.
I was like more annoyed withAdam Brody's character this
season.

SPEAKER_03 (47:05):
But the ending was good.
I was like, how are they gonnafind their way back to each
other again?

SPEAKER_01 (47:10):
Yeah, I think that it's weird that they ended on
like happiness instead of acliffhanger of like, are they
gonna get together or are theynot?

SPEAKER_03 (47:19):
Well, that's what they happened last season.

SPEAKER_01 (47:21):
Spoiler alert.

SPEAKER_03 (47:21):
But that's what happened last season.
Sorry guys.
Right?
She ran on the bus.
He ran after her on the bus.
But at the end, it was like theyrealize he realized I don't need
you to be Jewish because I loveyou so much.
And she realized I want to beJewish.
It's I think it was smart.
Like other things I think weregood, like the sister and her

(47:43):
had such a complicatedrelationship.
Sorry.

SPEAKER_00 (47:45):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (47:46):
Uh what is her name?
The bitchy wife.

SPEAKER_01 (47:51):
Yeah, what is her name?
It's her no Esther.

SPEAKER_03 (47:55):
Esther.
Esther and Chris.
What is Kristen Bell'scharacter?

SPEAKER_01 (48:00):
Joanne.

SPEAKER_03 (48:01):
Joanne and Esther, strange relationship, but then
they had that moment at the endthat made her like be like,
you're right, I already am kindof Jewish.

SPEAKER_01 (48:08):
Yeah.
So I like I like Esther thisseason.

SPEAKER_03 (48:12):
I do too.
Yeah, I did too.
But again.

SPEAKER_01 (48:14):
But I'm also like, yeah, I don't know.
Now I don't know.
Because they did make her morelikable.
Because last season she waspretty unlikable.
Agreed.
Now they made her more likable.
Yeah.
But then they also are like, will they, won't they?

SPEAKER_03 (48:31):
Right.
I think they will.

SPEAKER_01 (48:32):
I don't know.
I think they will.

SPEAKER_03 (48:34):
Or that's the cliffhanger they've set us up
for in this season.
It's like, oh my God, becauseshe wants a break from the
marriage.

SPEAKER_00 (48:39):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (48:40):
He's devastated because he loves her, but now
Morgan broke off her engagement.
So like, what's nothing butspoilers right now.

SPEAKER_01 (48:47):
Nothing but spoilers.

SPEAKER_03 (48:48):
No, but I think it was a good season.

SPEAKER_01 (48:50):
I do too.
I really liked it.
It is my third A-list in theweek.

SPEAKER_03 (48:55):
I love that.

SPEAKER_01 (48:56):
What's yours?

SPEAKER_03 (49:01):
I'm trying to think if it's of any something I just
watch.
Oh, I'm currently we'recurrently watching.
Well, first of all, boyfriendloves the Kardashians.

SPEAKER_01 (49:08):
So I'm watching Kardashians.

SPEAKER_03 (49:09):
I'm currently watching the Kardashians.

SPEAKER_01 (49:11):
Have you ever watched before?

SPEAKER_03 (49:12):
No.

SPEAKER_01 (49:13):
Okay, interesting.

SPEAKER_03 (49:14):
Um I think that this isn't necessarily my list of the
week, but it is like I'm gonnasay something.
Courtney's insufferable.

SPEAKER_01 (49:25):
Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (49:25):
Is that just known?
Because I can't believe it.

SPEAKER_01 (49:28):
No, she is.
And did you see that interviewof Jennifer Lawrence?

SPEAKER_03 (49:31):
Yes.
I was like, wait, this is whatwe all think, I think.

SPEAKER_01 (49:35):
I know, but it's weird because she's like been
friends with them.

SPEAKER_03 (49:38):
I know.

SPEAKER_01 (49:39):
And so now, like I don't know if it's a joke that
like maybe Courtney's in on orwhat, but yeah, Jennifer
Lawrence did an interview andshe was like, I was gonna say
it, Courtney's insufferable thisseason.
She everything is like adeclaration of everything's an
announcement on her.

SPEAKER_03 (49:54):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (49:54):
And it's like true.
Yeah, we're all thinking thatlike she is insufferable.

SPEAKER_03 (49:57):
Did you see this scene when she and Travis are in
like New Orleans and And hemakes her run with him?

SPEAKER_01 (50:02):
I was just saying this.
I was like, that was kind ofcrazy that he forced her to run
with him.

SPEAKER_03 (50:05):
But they're in the restaurant, and she's like, I
just hate that.
Everyone's like, yes.
And he's like, there's a wholecamera.

SPEAKER_01 (50:11):
That was yeah, and I do understand like her not
wanting people to film her.
And I do feel bad that she feelslike she can't go out, go
anywhere because she has anxietyabout that.
She doesn't like people to filmher.
But that was a crazy thing tosay.
She was like, Should we ask themto stop filming so I can take a
bite?
And he's like, You have wholecamera crew.
A bunch of big cameras in here.

(50:32):
What do you mean?

SPEAKER_03 (50:34):
So funny.
But that I digress.
My A-list of the week, I'm gonnasay, is I feel like there's
something else we're watching.
Oh, I'm oh loot.
Loot is back on season three.
Really good season this year.
Really, really good.
That's all.

SPEAKER_01 (50:48):
Okay.
Did I send you?
I just had a vision about Lordof the Rings for some reason.
Did I send you that TikTok ofElijah Wood?
Elijah Wood showing up for thatperson.
Those people do.

SPEAKER_03 (50:59):
So many people sent me that TikTok.
People, my friends know me.

SPEAKER_01 (51:02):
So cute.

SPEAKER_03 (51:03):
So cute.
Um, I actually do have an A-listof the week.
I forgot.
One wonderful night, wicked.

SPEAKER_01 (51:08):
Cried.
That was the other thing.
I yesterday I cried so much.
I watched One Wonderful NightBald during For Good and For
Good.

SPEAKER_03 (51:20):
I was like watching Ariana do that.

SPEAKER_01 (51:23):
Yeah, she's tearing up.

SPEAKER_03 (51:24):
This is crazy.
Imagine like I had a moment thetears were flowing for how
beautiful it was, the new lyricsthat they wrote.
But also just like looking atAriana and being like, this
bitch manifested the F out ofher life.
Like child going to see thosetwo perform that show and be
like, I'm gonna be in this showone day, but not you're in the

(51:45):
biggest blockbuster franchisefor it.
In the two original songs that Ipredicted would happen, they
actually sound like they'regonna be really good.

SPEAKER_01 (51:52):
Yeah, the little snippets.

SPEAKER_03 (51:54):
The little snippets say show.
I was like, okay.

SPEAKER_01 (51:55):
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm very excited.
I cried so much.
Cynthia flying over, seeingdefining like it was incredible.

SPEAKER_03 (52:03):
The like not having Jonathan Bailey there, but then
having the three other peopleperform his part.

SPEAKER_01 (52:08):
That was my least favorite part.

SPEAKER_03 (52:09):
I thought Bowen Gang was so funny.

SPEAKER_01 (52:10):
Bowen is funny, but the Ethan of it all.
Oh I was like, I'm bored bythis.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (52:16):
Ethan.

SPEAKER_01 (52:16):
But um, yeah.
Gorgeous.
Cried so much, and then I criedwhen I finished Nobody Wants It.
So I was like, well, I'm justcrying today.

SPEAKER_03 (52:26):
Tear filled.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (52:28):

That's literally what they said.

SPEAKER_01 (53:37):
Explain that to this guy.

SPEAKER_03 (53:38):
Yeah, no, Stanley will be with me.

SPEAKER_01 (53:40):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (53:41):
Soul.
Like a handprint on my heart.

SPEAKER_01 (53:43):
Like a handprint on my heart.
The movie Saltburn, 2023.
Let me tell you, the chokeholdthat movie had on.
Why?
Was it just like the way theymarketed it?

SPEAKER_03 (53:54):
It was artsy, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (53:55):
And it was like Jacob Alordi hot and And what's
his name's private parts allflopping around?

SPEAKER_03 (54:01):
Yeah, and licking up bath water.

SPEAKER_01 (54:06):
Yeah.
Do you think that they made thatmovie just for the rage bait of
it all or the uh shock factor ofit all?

SPEAKER_03 (54:13):
Maybe a little bit.

SPEAKER_01 (54:14):
Hmm.
Anyway, that was crazy time.
And then on Happy Feet.
2006.

SPEAKER_03 (54:22):
Of course, and not only did I watch Happy Feet, but
I loved Happy Feet, and that'swhere we got the song Happy,
which was a block a blockbuster,a Billboard Top One for so many

of her notes in it when I was ather house.

SPEAKER_01 (54:37):

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
