So I went out with my my friend Katie, last night
just to catch up, and we went toForeman's, of course.

I started with my usual I was like I'm going to do

And she was like, okay, I'mgoing to get this Hugo spritz.
And I was like what's that?
And she's like, oh, it's good.

So then I had one with her, our second drink, and
that was delicious.

I do need to remember to order it, I just forget.

It was refreshing and they give it to you in a wine
glass with a straw.

Yes, that's how an Aperol spritz comes.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
That's how any spritz comes.
Oh, didn't know.
I guess it makes sense.
I was like, why did they giveyou a straw?
And then I was like, oh, it'sprobably because, like, if it
didn't have a straw, it wouldlook like you're drinking white
wine with ice.

And the ice on top melts.
So you get like the taste ofwater first, before you get the
taste of the drink the deliciousspritzes which when you're
drinking something like whiskeyon the rocks.
I presume that's the reason itcuts it a little, you know is
that a factor?

months.

And then Saturday was SinaHaley's boyfriend's birthday.

fun.

Yeah, friday I spent with you, and then saturday, so
this was a weekend to likehandle a lot of this stuff.

I woke up and I built some morefurniture and then I had a date
oh yeah and um it was.
It was a really good date, Iwill say far for you to go right

So I went to his part of town,namely because there's a
restaurant there that is a chainthat I enjoy.
So I knew that there was one onhis end of town.
So I was like, hey, are youdown for here?
And he was like, oh my god,yeah, that's perfect, I love
that place.
It was like great, me too.
So good sign you know how, butlike the dates I've been going
on, like every other one hasseemed to be like a situation

that feels like I'm about to bepunked, like remember when I
went to the bar with and he waslike, oh, I have diabetes and I
left my medication in the car.
I'll be right back and Ithought I was going to get
ghosted.
Oh yeah, it's like there'sthese moments of me being like?
Is this real life?
So, get this.
I get there with like threeminutes to spare.

He's like I'm running likeseven minutes behind.
I was like no worries, I justparked, I will go over there.
I go up to the restaurant.
There's literally no one thereand our date was at 6 pm and
they were open until um.
No, our date was at 5 30.
They were open until 8.
So I was like this is a perfectamount of time yeah, you'll get
kicked out eventually if it'slike yeah, and I was like we're
not.

This is truly just like.
Is there a vibe between us?
So it was just like we didn'thave plans to do anything
afterward.
It was just dinner and then goour separate ways.
Um, so I get there.
Seven minutes passes he's notthere.
A few more minutes pass he's notthere oh no and then he goes,
he texts me, he's like, uh,walking over, and I was like,
okay, so it took a minute topark.

It took me a minute to park soI was like, okay, yeah, five
more minutes.
He's not there and I'm lookingin every direction, which is a
great good vantage point fromthe restaurant.
I was like he's not coming fromany, like I don't see him
anywhere did he go the wrong one?
and then I was like, um, he'slike I'm in line and I turn
around and I was like there's noline and I was like, what line

he's like the line at?
Can you just bleep this out?
And I was like yeah, there's noline here.
And he was like, are you at theone by WeWork?
And I turn around and was like,yeah.

There are two, two miles apart, both in a complex
next to a WeWork.

I thought, it went under for awhile.
Besides the point, I was likeoh my God.

God, I'm so sorry I'm at this one and I shared my

He was like there's no way.
We both yeah because he livesright by the one that he went to

It wasn't a big deal.
I was like, okay, I'm so sorry,I'll come to you yeah so I get
over there and now it's six, sowe've cut like 30 minutes in and
that one closes at seven.
So I should have texted him andsaid come to mine, mine, it's
open till eight.
Yeah, but I was like oh well,it's fast, whatever.

So we like I get there, we sit down.
It was great conversation, weno lulls, nothing weird, like
exactly how the energy has beenbetween us.
It was like really good, he'smy height.
And then afterward I was.
I was just just walking intohis car and he was like, oh,
there's this really cute parkover here.
You want to walk through it?
So I was like sure.

So we walked through the parkand talked some more and then
just did the lap, did a circle,came back, walked into his car
and that was it.
It was a really, just a reallygood okay, yeah, that's very
wholesome it was wholesome.
It was just nice to have like ahuman connection also, like
we've been talking off and onsince December.
So I was like, okay, nice tofinally just meet him.

Yes, we did agree to that Um was there a vibe?
Yeah, there was definitely avibe.
I will say this is my immediatetakeaway I'm um, it was
different than the energy I'vehad in like previous situations,
and I think that that's a goodthing.

that's a good thing because Ididn't have this urgency to be

like talk to him every day, butit was like wow, that was really
nice.
I definitely could see myselfgoing on more dates with you and

So anyway, that was my Saturday.

entire day like working on thehouse, even up with my friend
Katie, and it was great and it'salways fun to talk to Katie

because Katie works.
Katie works in the musicdepartment of Warner Brothers
for like TV and film, not likeartists Warner Brothers, so like
I got the inside tea on all thedrama with White Lotus.
