Veteran theatrical actress Susan Berger, a Buffalo, NY native,has built a remarkable career spanning decades, captivating audiences worldwide. Susan appeared in many Regional and Off-Broadway plays and in the original and Broadway productions of the musical The Robber Bridegroom, establishing herself as a dynamic stage performer.
One of Berger's most memorable experiences was her role in Joel Coen's The Tragedy of Macbeth, a testament to her talent and versatility. Her film credits include Kajillionaire,Looks to Kill, The Dollar King, and The Legacy of Cloudy Falls. Berger is also on Amazon Freevee's Jury Duty as Barbara Goldstein. Her extensive TV appearances also featureroles in American Horror Story, Baskets, Mom, Criminal Minds, Bob Hearts Abishola, and Hunters. After studying improv and musical improv at UCB, Susan and her son Christopher Corbin formed a two-person improv group—Son of a Mother.
As an author, Berger won the Readers' Favorite Award and the 2009 Green Book Festival Award. Berger's book, Earthquake, shares valuable information about earthquakes, including what causes them, whether we can predict them, how to measure earthquakes, and how to prepare for them. There are many fun facts, such as the biggest earthquake in the world and when to do fun experiments, including how to make a seiche. Earthquake is an excellent book to empower your children to prepare for and learn about earthquakes. The book is for grades K-3.
