Short episode this week. Apologies for being late, but being on the road don't lend well to uploading podcasts. This edition has some new stuff we tried out for a recurring news segment. Let us know what you think of it.

This week we're talking to John the Lefty, one of the most clued-in independent journalists in Portland about some recent stories. First we'll talk a new fascist group active in the area, then dive into the verdicts in the Joey Gibson/Patriot Prayer/Cider Riot trials. Then we're talking about the recent arrest made for the murder of antifascist activist Sean Kealiher. We recorded before the arraignment but the alleged killer, Christopher Knipe, will go to trial on the 26th of September. Knipe pleaded not guilty this week to 2nd Degree Homicide charges.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
