#397 - Weekly Energy Update for August 10-17: Venus and Jupiter Magic

We made it, friends! 🙌 Mercury retrograde ends Monday the 11th, which means clearer thinking, fewer tech glitches, and the green light to move forward. That post-retrograde “shadow phase” is still here for a bit, but things that felt stuck are finally shifting. After the wild ride of this summer, it feels so good to be heading toward something new.

The real showstopper this week is Tuesday the 12th, one of the luckiest days of the year, when Venus (love, beauty, connection) meets Jupiter (luck, abundance, expansion) in Cancer 🦀. This only happens in Cancer once every 12 years, and it’s lining up perfectly with Mercury going direct and the last day of the Lion’s Gate Portal. Talk about perfect timing! Expect big boosts in love, relationships, finances, and just falling in love with life again.

And the magic doesn’t stop there. This week also brings the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, with 60–100 shooting stars an hour between August 9–13. Spiritually, the Perseids are like a cosmic cleanse, burning away old patterns and supercharging your wishes. Plus, we’ve got a six-planet parade in the sky and a chance to catch the northern lights. It’s basically the universe’s firework finale. 

Yes, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are still retrograde, but since they’re outer planets, they’re shaping the collective more than your personal day-to-day. Think big shifts in political, economic, and social systems—deep stuff being brought to the surface so it can finally heal. But the intense summer stretch?
