In the Season 2 carryover Series, Nickels and Spud: Shorts from Space Episode 11: Em and Ship, Nickels and Spud contract an incredibly vile illness--one that is more grotesque than bubbling garbage marinating in freshly spilled sewage, leaving Em in charge--so to speak. And Ship makes it known, loud and clear, that he has no intentions of respecting her as the acting captain. To make matters worse, the job that they have currently taken forces them to navigate through an asteroid field, which is nearly impossible to safely move through. And this says nothing about the cargo that they're picking up. Will this spell out doom for our nomadic adventurers? Will Em and Ship find some kind of common ground on which to tread to help them through it? Will Nickels and Spud ever get better? And what of Russet?
