In the Season 2 carryover Series, Nickels and Spud: Shorts from Space Episode 13: Em's Circus Part Two, Spud realizes that Em has vanished from the confines of Ship and that she is likely in peril--once again. After a long discussion and much negotiating (especially with Nickels who proposes that Em, being so clown-like, may have run away to the circus and fit in where she most likely belongs), Spud convinces the others that they must go back to the planet on which the Hodges and Sporalian Circus is performing to save the princess from the hijinks of the clowns. But what will they find when they get there? Are the others right about Em, having been seduced by the nomadic circus culture? Has she really found her true home?
