In the Season 2 carryover Series, Nickels and Spud: Shorts from Space Episode 14: Finding Nicky Part One, Tessa reaches out to Em for a personal favor--one that she does not want the rest of the crew of Recovery Services knowing about. Nicky is missing! Excited about the prospect of having an actual mission that she can be part of and not being the center of it as usual, Em jumps at the chance. Spud, of course, is quite apprehensive, while Nickels is deliberately kept in the dark by the lot of them, who fear that he might go on a rampage, shooting first and asking questions later. They instead send him to Parking Lot Land, which he is so happy about that he can hardly contain his excitement. But why? What is all the secrecy about? How come it involves Em? And why is Tessa so desperate that she would need help from anyone to help her with such a serious matter--let alone the princess? All that can be said about it at this time is that it involves the heart of a mother, and it is breaking.
