Welcome to our after movie review show! This is a podcast where two friends sit down and talk about movies or TV shows directly after we've watch them. Ian and Dylan are the regular hosts, and sometimes we invite our friends on to help us spice it up a little.
Once upon a time there was a unicorn, the last of her kind, and she went on a quest to find what became of the other unicorns. Along the way she meets the great and powerful Schmendrick the Wise, and Molly. Neither of them truly appreciate Schmendrick, and in fact, are quite ungrateful. Eventually they find the Red Bull and the unicorn gets enough energy to cast him into the sea.

Tonight we opened the flood gates. We talked about Iron-blooded Orphans, the rest of Gundam, and let’s be honest all the other amazing mecha anime we’ve grown to love. We basked in our shame, and shook our fists at the prices of these Blu-rays now.

Here we are, at the end of the season. This was a great show, and these final episodes did not disappoint. We had ship battles, espionage, stormtrooper, and bricks. Everything you could have ever asked for from a Star War. I just hope that B2EMO makes it out okay.

The joke is that the Batarians aren’t actually there, and everyone is thankful.

Tonight our adventure begins with a girl who is a little ungrateful, and in desperate need to get rid of her brother. Suddenly, a man wielding a crystal ball claiming to be The Goblin King takes her brother and puts her in a maze. All of the sudden she wants her brother back now, for some reason. Now you’re alone with a hobbit peeing into a fountain.

We’re back again in the whimsical world of Studio Ghibli. This time we get to see a young boy fall in love with a fish and witness every stage of her become human. His task is to love her through each stage, even the weird chicken/frog stage. To speak on the difficulty of this we invited Grimby on the show to share his experience.

We’re back in prison with Cassian, but not for long! One way out! Our man Kino finally comes around and we devise a plan to break out. All the while Mon Mothma is trying to sell off her daughter for the good of the Rebellion, Bix is being tortured, and Karn is confessing his love for Dedra!

Today we recapped our walkthrough of Mass Effect 1 and 2. It’s my first time going through this series, and so far Dylan and I are having too much fun doing Mystery Science Theater type dialogue over the gameplay. So far we have rejected everyone else to hopefully romance Ashley in 3, but I won’t lie, we are having doubts.

Today’s episode is a bit heavier than past episodes of this show. I have been inspired by life and death and the beautiful art we make in between. From an amazing Twenty One Pilots concert to the loss of a friend’s relative, these past few weeks have opened my eyes again. Be intentional about loving and appreciating your friends and family, let the fire of inspiration drive you, but don’t be afraid to slow down and savour the momen...
On this episode of the ‘Bout Nothin’ Podcast I’m joined by Ian and Dylan. We’re so back. We talk ‘Bout my recent trip to Kilimanjaro Tanzania, my inspiration for trying to climb, and share a couple other travel stories as well.

What a weird episode this was. Ethan joined us for what was supposed to be an episode on The Emperor’s New Groove, but it ended up being about a lot of things. How the animation industry isn’t the same, how comedy isn’t what it used to be, and how AI is taking over the internet. Did you know that this film will be 25 years old this December?

Things are heating up in the galaxy far far away! Karn got himself a new job in the ball crushing factory, and meanwhile Andor is getting arrested while on vacation. Not for the heist I may add, just looking sus on the beach. Boom, six years in prison. Jump over to Coruscant and Mon is trying to convince an old friend that they are on the same team. Peak Star Wars I tell you.

Dylan and I were finishing up a playthrough of ODST, and as we were planning for this show he said to me: “Man, I really want to talk about Halo.” and here we are. On top of all the Halo talk we also discuss retro games from our past and reminisced about the good ol’ days of the 2000’s

Hear me out, we get rid of Haru and move Arrietty and her family into the mansion. Everyone would be happy, safe, and you can’t tell me that wouldn’t have been a better ending. All I’m saying is, we can get better help that isn’t prejudiced towards the Borrowers. Is that too much to ask?

We got Ethan back on the show! He talked about all of the anime he and Dylan have been watching together recently. As all of our conversations tend to do, it got loud, and there may have been a few Trump impressions in there too.

The plan is coming together, if only Skeen would get out of the way… Just like any good heist the tension is building and all the pieces all falling into place. We’ve got disguises, underwater infiltration, hostages, and yet another sick firefight. Last but not least, Dylan was right, Nemik was killed at the end. He was just too nice.

Wait, where are we? Why is there fresh food here? Why is that Faceless Spirit following us? Welcome to the world of Spirited Away, where if you have an aversion to throwing up you are not going to be happy. This train ride is long and let’s us really sit back and think about all the crazy stuff we’ve been through these past few days.

Welcome back to the next installment of our Andor watchthrough. This week we watched episodes 3-4 and the intrigue is ramping up. We got a warehouse firefight, people getting fired, Mon Mothma, and the beginnings of a heist. The real question is will our optimistic ray of sunshine get killed in this mission.

It has been a long time coming. We finally got the man, the myth, the legend, our good friend Coby on the show. We brought him back to his childhood and watched some classic Dragon Ball Z. In this episode we also took the chance to introduce him to you all, so we talked about recent games we’ve been playing as well as some of our other favourite anime.

Here it is, our first step into the Star Wars universe for this podcast. We are starting with the first two episodes of season one, and what a great start this was. It had everything you could have ever asked for, blaster, contraband, corrupt law enforcement, child death, and love in a hopeless place.
