In this podcast episode, Carlos Kemeny interviews Landon Garner, a marketing guru and representative of Kajeet, a company focused on using technology for social good. Kajeet was founded by two fathers who wanted to address the challenges of enabling their children to use technology safely and responsibly. Initially, they provided cell phones with built-in mobile device management systems, but soon expanded into the education sector to bridge the digital divide and provide controlled access to technology for students. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kajeet’s business grew exponentially as the need for remote learning solutions increased. They have since expanded their mission to other areas, including tribal communities, higher education, and healthcare. Kajeet aims to provide connected technology solutions that go beyond generating revenue and profit by focusing on creating positive impacts and fostering responsible decision-making.
