Then, the United States Supreme Court issued a decision that directly impacts a Christian postal worker who has a conviction about working on Sundays. The Court’s ruling has wider implications for all employees of faith.

Next up, the state’s bar association, as in New York lawyers, has created a taskforce to consider the weighty issues surrounding the possible legalization of assisted suicide.

Following that, there is a growing and well-financed movement to pass a so-called “Equality Amendment” on next year’s General Election ballot. It’s a horrible idea, but being advanced to encourage Democratic voter turnout in 2024.

Finally, remember that COVID-era phone app to display a New Yorker’s vaccination status. Well, after ballooning in cost the state is finally shelving the app.
