So many women entrepreneurs fall into what I call the "figure-it-outer syndrome" – piling on endless tactics, platforms, and to-dos because we believe more effort equals more success.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey friend, okay, so I actually stopped mid thing I
was doing because this justpopped into my head and I wanted
to come on here and make aquick little podcast about this,
because I know this issomething that so many of my
girlies out there boutiqueowners, brand owners, anyone who
sells physical products reallystruggles with this.

(00:21):
So I want to have just a quicklittle convo about it to make
sure that you, if this happensto you, you recognize it and you
go.
I'm doing something that I knowis not good for my business,
because right now, you actuallyprobably think it is good for
your business.
What I'm talking about ispiling on more things, because

(00:42):
you think more things is goingto equal more success.
So this could look like you andif you're doing this, don't
judge yourself Totally normal.
That's literally the reason whyI'm making this podcast,
because I know this is so, so,so common amongst business
owners, and especially womenlike us, where we're like figure

(01:03):
it outers I just made that wordup.
Do you like that?
We're figure-it-outers right,we figure it out in all areas of
life.
We are experts at figuring itout, but when it comes to
running a business, sometimes wejust can't figure it out on our
own or we're not doing theright things that actually

(01:23):
matter.
Because here's the deal we haveso much access to information
right now.
Right, we've got TikTok, we'vegot YouTube, we've got Google,
we've got Instagram.
This person's telling you to dothat, that person's telling you
to do this, this YouTubeperson's saying this, this, and
that this podcaster's tellingyou that.
That, that, right, we have somuch information which is

(01:43):
freaking great, it's great, it'sat our fingertips, it's free,
it's incredible.
But what happens is we can getshiny object syndrome and listen
, I've been there that.
This is why I know this happens, because I've literally been
here.
I've been through this, whereyou start piling on all these
different things that peopletell you works, filing on all

(02:04):
these different things thatpeople tell you works.
Next thing, you know you'retrying to be an expert in 100
million different things foryour business, so you're trying
to learn how do I become aTikTok star?
How do I, you know, get morefollowers on Instagram?
How do I get more reach?
How do I use Pinterest?
How do I use Google SEO?

(02:24):
How do I run Facebook ads?
How do I build an email list?
How do I use email marketing,so like it becomes this never
ending list and what happens is,is you kind of get crappy at a
lot of things instead of gettingreally good at just a few
things?
Am I right?
Are you like?
Oh yeah, that's me.
Listen, I can do a lot ofthings.

(02:45):
I'm kind of crappy at them, butI can do a lot because I kind
of have a little bit ofknowledge about how it works.
Again, this is so common.
So many women fall into thistrap as business owners because
we're just trying to do our best.
Again, we're figure it outers.
We're just trying to figure outas much as we can on our own.
Because, if you're like me, youdidn't jump into your business

(03:05):
knowing really, maybe reallyvery little about running a
business or running yourspecific business.
I didn't know anything.
I jumped in like blindfolded.
I say I jumped out of a planeand I built my parachute on the
way down, right, it's like youjust went for it and I love you
for that and that's what makesincredible entrepreneurs and

(03:27):
business owners.
But now you're at the pointwhere you got to sift through
the BS and do what works andreally make a commitment to
yourself to put the blinders onand stop getting distracted by
all the million different things.
Listen, 90% of the time youdon't need a better logo, you
don't need a new websitedesigner.
You don't need to hire logo.

(03:47):
You don't need a new websitedesigner, you don't need to hire
someone to.
You know, optimize your websiteright.
You just need to focus on thefew activities that really
matter, and this is what myprograms are about.
I've already sifted through allthe BS so I can tell you you
don't need to know that rightnow.
Maybe when you hit 20K permonth in sales, we can talk

(04:10):
about you running Facebook ads,but right now you don't know how
to reach your target audiencewith your content.
So if you spend money onFacebook ads, it's going to flop
and you're going to be reallyannoyed because you spent a
bunch of money on ads and theyquote, unquote didn't work, and
they didn't work because it'snot the right thing for you in
your business right now.
So what I'm able to do as acoach with my clients, with you

(04:32):
guys, even in my free programs, which I have million dollar
moves coming up.
If you're not, if you haven'tbeen in any one of my programs
yet, join million dollar moves.
Again, it's totally free.
It's alidceocom slash milliondollar moves.
Okay, the link is also in anyof my bios Instagram, tiktok, dm
me if you want it.
It's alidceo.

(04:54):
And what you'll notice when youjoin my programs is you get what
you should be focusing on andwe eliminate the things that you
should not be focusing on.
And I tell you why.
Okay, like why certain thingsyou need to work on right now in
your business and why otherthings are totally not necessary
and you're just wasting timeand effort spinning your wheels

(05:16):
doing something that's not goingto affect your business the way
we need it to right now.
So if you're doing still likeunder 10k per month in sales, or
even under 20k per month insales, there's certain things
you need to be doing to bebuilding the foundation for your
success.
Otherwise, you're going to keeptrying to build your walls and

(05:37):
put your cute little, you knowdesigner kitchen in and build
your second story, and it'salways going to crumble because
you don't have the solidfoundation and that is an
exhausting place to live.
It is exhausting trying amillion different things as a
figure it outer and you can'tfigure it out, okay.
So if this is you right now, again so normal.

(06:00):
But what I want to tell you isdon't keep piling more stuff
onto your list.
Join Million Dollar Moves.
Learn what you actually need todo.
Okay, I just literally want youto do this.
I mean, I would love for you todo this with anybody, but I
know that I have like the bestframework.
I don't even mean to like tootmy own horn here, but I'm an

(06:21):
expert at this.
Like this is what I do.
I am so good at like fast, quick, this is what I do.
I am so good at like fast, quick, highly potent, very
impactful actions to grow yourbusiness, because that's how I
run my six and seven figurebusinesses.
Because, listen, I'm busy.
I don't have time to dillydally.
I don't have time to, like youknow, be all over the place.

(06:42):
I got to get focused because Iwant a lot of revenue for the
effort that I put in.
Okay, I only have a few hours aday to work on my businesses.
I'm very busy.
I got kids, I got lots ofthings going on, and so those
few hours that I can spend needto be freaking potent, af.
And I want the same for youalso, because who wants to be
married to their business 24-7?
That's not fun.

(07:04):
Listen, I've been there too andI love working.
I love working, but I find thatI am most happy when I have a
decent balance right.
I always say at peace and onfire.
That's my mantra, that's themantra in my community, inside
Trendsetter.
We say at peace and on firebecause there is a certain like.

(07:25):
It's like this confidence andthis air of just zen when you
know you're doing the rightaction steps every single day
and you are no longer having tostay up till two in the morning
watching some random Shopifyguru tell you like how to set up
some weird backend thing.
Okay, I love them, like there'stime and a place for people you

(07:46):
know for different things and Iappreciate their hustle.
But this is coming from someonethat literally all I do is
exactly what you do every singleday, and I've done it for over
12 years.
So I've cut through all the BSand I'm proud of that.
And I'm even more proud that Ihave an incredible team that
does the daily operations of mybusinesses.

(08:08):
Now I don't have to ship boxes,I don't have to worry about
orders, I don't have to docustomer service.
My job now is only aboutbringing in revenue.
So I have the time and thefreedom to tell you guys about
my journey and how I was able tobuild a seven-figure business,
how I'm planning to do $250,000in sales in January.

(08:31):
These things light me up,because I know you need this
information, because Lord knows,I freaking needed it and it
wasn't out there, it wasn'tavailable, and now it's like the
opposite there's too much outthere.
And so the industry, the girlsin the industry, the women
coming up, the women who haveeven been in it for a while,

(08:51):
like I have a lot of boutiqueowners who've been in the
business for a while now andthings have changed and they're
like I don't know what to doanymore, because things used to
be easy for me and now it's sofreaking hard to sell one thing
and I'm like I know I get it.
It's a different time, adifferent place.
We have to evolve with thetimes and approach it from a

(09:11):
very strategic way to eliminatethe burnout that you're about to
do and throw away everythingyou've built.
Okay, so if this is, you belike oh God, she's talking to me
Because things have changed andluckily, like I said, I have a
team that's able to keep thebusiness rolling.
It runs so good, you guys, Imean it's way more efficient.

(09:36):
And incredible, because I amnot in it as the bottleneck,
right, because sometimes theowner we're like, oh, I don't
know, and they're just efficientand they have a plan and it
works and they grind it outevery single day and it's just
so incredible to watch them, towatch my team.
You guys, I can't wait.
If you don't have a team yet, this is one of the best things

(09:57):
that will ever, ever, everhappen to you.
And you're gonna feel so weirdin the beginning and you're
gonna be like, wait, but I stillwanna do everything.
And slowly, you're gonnadelegate tasks over and over and
over and you again at peace andon fire.
This freedom to do what you'rereally freaking good at in your
business oh my god, this is whenthings really scale.
We'll be talking about all this, by the way, inside million

(10:18):
dollar moves as well.
It's going to be the best epicfree, four-day training and
challenge with me, so I can'twait to spend this time with you
.

We had 118 women join my lastfree challenge and so many of
them joined TrendsetterUniversity after it because they
saw how effective and howpotent my trainings are.

(10:41):

every single podcast in theworld.
I love you for that.
But if you want to go far andfast, we go together, right?
I say I've been saying, if youwanna go slow, you go alone.
Okay, you be your lone wolf outthere, you do the research, you

(11:05):
figure it out right.
Again, I love you for this.
If you're a lone wolf or I wastoo okay, I am a recovered lone
wolf.
Or now I am obsessed with groupmentorship and obsessed with
being in programs with women whoare also six, seven, eight
figure entrepreneurs that aredoing the dang thing.
