SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
I am coming off celebrating a 60 plus order day
yesterday.
And I wanted to talk to you alittle bit about the behind the
scenes of what I believe ittakes to grow a successful
business that is kind of likeit's just a well-oiled machine.
Because there was a time when Iwould wake up in the morning and

(00:21):
I would feel so spazzy and soworried and so just, oh my gosh,
what am I going to do today toget sales?
And now I'm like, like, I don'teven like I never have that
feeling anymore.
I never wake up and go, how am Igoing to get orders?
How am I going to get sales?
How am I going to make moneywith this business?

(00:42):
Like those, those thoughts don'tcome into my head.
Now it's like, okay, how am Igoing to take this thing from
like a seven-figure business toa$10 million company?
How am I going to get my uh teamto be sharper and more focused?
What are their strengths?
How can I, how can I really honein on their strengths and then

(01:02):
things that maybe they don'tlike to do or, you know, aren't
as excited about?
Can I, can I have hire new teammembers to pick up that slack to
make sure that everybody is likedoing what they're the best at?
Like these are my worries now.
Like it's so insane.
It's so freaking insane.
And I'm just like, ah.

(01:25):
But there was a time where itwas not like this.
And this may be you right now, where you're feeling like, oh my
gosh, I just don't know what todo, how to show up, how to get
sales going, how to like makethis thing actually work.
So if you are in this stage, I'mgonna tell you what it actually
takes.
And this may feel a little bittriggering.

(01:47):
It may feel a little boring, itmay feel a little like not what
you want to hear, but it's thefreaking truth.
And I just I posted about, youknow, my my Monday yesterday,
which was my 60 orders coming infrom all kinds of sales
channels, because like I said,we just have this so dialed in
right now.
Um, and one of my clients insideVIP messaged me and she was

(02:11):
like, Oh my gosh, I am just sograteful that I found you
because you've really just givenstructure to my life and
structure to my business andpushed me to show up no matter
what, no matter my mood, nomatter my emotions, no matter my
energy, but just pushed me toshow up every day, even when I
felt like things weren'thappening.

(02:33):
And like now she's getting dailysales.
Now everything's happening.
Now her business is starting toskyrocket again.
But the reason why, and this iswhat I want to talk to you about
today, is because I gave herprocesses and strategies and
literally like here's exactlywhat to do every single day, and

(02:54):
don't get too emotionallyinvolved in this.
Let's just do the work.
Things will happen for you.
But you know the crazy thing?
Most business owners cannotcontrol the emotional side of
business, and it ends up beingthe downfall for them because

(03:14):
they're so attached to theadrenaline hit or the happiness
or the you know feelings thatcome with the cha ching from the
Shopify order.
And if that isn't happening, then they do not do what they

(03:36):
need to do.
So they'll just let things kindof fall apart.
And what I want to tell youtoday is that growing a business
is not about the glitz andglamour.
It's about the mundane.
It's about showing up and doingall the things that are on the
strategy list, the needle-movingactivities, no matter how you're

(03:58):
feeling.
Like this is it.
And I talk about a lot in myspaces about discipline and how
important discipline is.
It's like literally the wholekey to you not only surviving,
right?
But actually thriving, gettingout of survival mode, getting

(04:19):
out of the feeling of like youdon't know what to do every day
to get sales.
Because a lot of times, likewhat I'll even tell my clients
when they get into funk is I'llsay, you know what to do now, do
it.
Once you learn the strategiesand once you learn like the
plot, the process and the plan, your only job is to execute.
But people are so caught up inseeing results fast that they

(04:44):
won't do the work of theexecution every day.
And this is where a lot ofpeople, like I said, get hung up
and get stuck and get lost inthe sauce.
They get overwhelmed.
And instead of sticking to theplan, they let their mood or
their emotions guide theirbusiness.

(05:06):
And this is where things willfall apart.
This is why so many of myclients are like, I wish I would
have found you sooner because Iunderstand this.
I've been through it, I can spotit a mile away.
And I have a lot of emotionalDMs that come to me about
businesses, about yourboutiques, about your brands,
about feeling like you're tryingeverything.
But then I'll take a look-see atwhat's going on, and I can see

(05:28):
there's no strategy or process.
And so this is where, listen, Idon't blame you.
This is where things feel veryheavy because you do feel like
you're doing a lot, butsometimes you could be doing a
lot of the wrong things.
Sometimes you feel like you'redoing a lot because you're
keeping yourself busy, butyou're not actually doing the
selling activities, the needlemoving activities.

(05:49):
There's a lot of differentthings that could be going on
that are making you feel likeI'm doing it all, but I ain't
seeing no results over here.
So what I do, and why I believemy clients do have massive
results, is I get you out of themind funk where you're just, you
know, repeatedly tellingyourself, why isn't it working?

(06:11):
Why isn't it working?
Why isn't it working?
And I mean, listen, it's noteasy to get out of this place,
especially if you've beenconditioned to be there,
especially if you've been therefor a while, six months, a year,
maybe you've been at this thingfor two, three years and you
still aren't seeing the resultsthat you want.
You are comfortable now.
You have created a habit of notwinning.

(06:32):
So you gotta get out of thehabit of not winning and get
into the habits of what makesyou a winner.
And what makes people win, and Iagain I know this from not only
seeing this happen to myself, but happen to my clients, is
sticking to the processes, sticking to the strategies.

(06:54):
So I want you to do like alittle bit of a self-audit today
and go, okay, do I really havesome content strategies in
place?
Do I really have like a plan?
Do I know what to post?
Or am I just waking up every dayand going, oh my God, what am I
gonna post today to get sales?
What am I gonna post today toget new followers?

(07:14):
What am I gonna post today totry to go viral?
What trending sound can I use?
Maybe I need to download anotherfreebie on like 20 free hooks
for boutique owners or whateverit is, right?
You're just always looking forthe the quick, easy, fast
answer.

(07:35):
I mean, we all want that, right?
But the thing about building asuccessful business is there is
no quick, easy, fast answer.
There is none.
So instead of wasting your timescrolling and looking, just do
the work.
Do the work.

(07:55):
Get the content strategyrolling.
If you need help with this, youknow I've got like a zillion
podcast episodes on it.
If you want like a full A2Zexactly how to do all this, get
inside Trend Center University.
Like, no excuses.
If you're ready to level up, ifyou're ready to leave the status
quo and what you're doingbehind, you have to improve your
skills.

(08:17):
And the way you improve yourskills is by learning what the
strategy is and then showing upand doing it every day without
any kind of mind-funky drama.
If this was easy, everybodywould have successful
businesses.
But this part's not easy.
You know what's kind of the easypart?
The easy part is like learningwhat you're supposed to do.

(08:40):
That's kind of easy.
Like my strategies are verysimple, guys.
I didn't like invent rocketscience over here.
I just invented a way for you tobe able to do this on repeat and
get results so you can have awell-oiled machine.
So it's like not like we'redoing anything that's like
totally like this one specialalgorithmic hack, right?

(09:02):
But and the strategy is simple.
It's almost people go, oh, okay.
But the implementation isdifficult.
This is another reason, not totoot my own horn, but why I love
Trendsetter University isbecause this is where, like,
what I believe is it's not justabout giving you the
information, it's helping youimplement it.
It's like, okay, here's thestrategy.

(09:24):
Now, how do I do that for mybusiness?
That's another big part ofTrendsetter University.
It's not just here's the course, here's the lessons.
It's the help with the how, notonly from me, but the other
women inside the university.
So I just tooted my own horn fora second.
Allow me to do so.
It's my own podcast.
I'm very proud of my spaces, butI'm proud of them because I'm

(09:46):
proud of the results the womenget.
Like when I open my DMs in themorning and I get messages from
my clients that are like, oh myGod, Allie, like everything has
changed.
You have changed my life.
And while I love hearing that, and that's very admirable,
they're the ones actually doingthe work, right?
They're the ones that arechanging their own lives.
I'm just giving them the tools.
But if they don't do it, nothingchanges.

(10:09):
What's the saying?
You could you can lead a horseto water, but you can't make it
drink.
So I can lead you to thestrategies, but I can't make you
take the action.
That part you got to do on yourown.
And this is where the rubbermeets the road.
This is where the real, trulysuccessful people will rise
above everybody else becausethey will understand that

(10:31):
they've got a plan and their jobis to stick to it.
So yeah, it can feel mundane.
It can feel repetitive.
If your business feelsrepetitive, good, you're doing
it right.
Because that's what it takes.
And then you know what happens?
Eventually, things just startclicking and you're gonna go, oh

(10:55):
my God, it's working.
Now, I'm not worried during thatpart where you're learning
strategy and implementing.
Now, you may be worried becauseyou're used to being in a
worried state.
You're not used to seeingresults.
You're just showing up and doingstuff and just like not feeling
like any you're getting anyresults from it.
But in that time, that littletime where you're learning
strategy and you're starting toimplement.

(11:15):
And I just tell you, just staysteady, hold the course, hold
the course, hold the course.
And you're like, oh no, I'mnervous.
Like, what if I'm doing all thiswork for nothing?
Right.
Like, that's another big thingpeople worry about.
And then all of a sudden,ch-ching, they get an order.
They get an order.
People start engaging.
People start sending themcomments, like, oh my God, where

(11:37):
do I get this?
People will start saying thingslike, oh no, you're sold out in
in medium.
When is the wait list opening?
Imagine instead of waking upevery morning wondering what the
heck I'm gonna do to get salestoday, you wake up and you've
already gotten sales overnight.
This is like my favorite.
My my overnight shoppers.
I'm like, whether it's storeowners or retail purchasers,

(11:57):
they're shopping overnight.
I wake up in the morning to likealready having a thousand
dollars worth of orders becausethey were shopping overnight.
The best.
The best.
But guys, you can't get to thispoint if you're just bouncing
around all over the place.
You're putting together astrategy, like holding it all
together with duct tape.
We gotta build you a solidfoundation.

(12:18):
And so in the beginning, when Istarted talking about this on
this podcast episode today, Istarted talking about how it can
feel very mundane.
Because people are searchingalways for the glitz and the
glamour and the sparkly magicalwand thing that's going to
change their lives.

(12:39):

based on emotion or mood, butworking through plan,
preparation, and execution.
