Speaker (00:00):
Hello, welcome to the
LED show.
(00:02):
Okay, we have so much fun stuffto talk about today.
So I hope you are drinking likeyour favorite beverage.
I dunno, maybe it's a Diet Coke,an iced tea, champagne, whatever
it is.
Um, pull up a chair or turn itup on the car radio and let's
get into it.
First thing you may have noticedlast episode, um, was a little
(00:24):
bit different style because I'vestarted a YouTube channel.
It's at Alle DC.
If you wanna follow me onYouTube, we're gonna be YouTube
sensation over here.
But seriously, my goal is tojust reach as many boutique and
brand owners as possible.
And I want, I've been wanting tostart my own YouTube channel for
a while.
So, um, I, I was, I was actuallydoing shorts on there, but I
(00:47):
just recorded my very first, like, full length YouTube video.
And what I did was I also, um,uploaded it to the podcast.
So I'm gonna start adding moreof that into the podcast where
it's like the YouTube videostreaming.
As a podcast as well.
So I'm gonna be peppering thatin.
Um, also, oh, this is soexciting.
(01:07):
Oh my god, so much news.
Okay.
Also, this month is thetrendsetter membership.
One year anniversary.
Can you fricking believe it?
One year of changing lives, growing boutiques, building
businesses.
Building dreams.
Ah, it's so exciting and we'vegot so much fun stuff planned
inside the membership.
(01:28):
This month I'm gonna be doing myfirst ever live call with the
Girlies.
So if you're not in themembership yet.
Just go to I'm atrendsetter.com.
Jump inside this membership.
By the way, the price isincreasing, so if you jump in
now, you'll be grandfathered inat the current price before it
increases.
Um, and the price is gonna beincreasing this week.
So just be sure if you've beeneyeing it and you're like, Ooh,
(01:50):
I want in, jump in, um, asap.
That way you can lock in thatlower pricing.
So super excited.
We're gonna have like merchgiveaways awards, like so much
fun stuff.
Amazing.
Another cool thing.
That I've been working on forlike months now is, um, what I'm
calling like a business schoolslash mastermind.
(02:12):
It's like a combo.
It's the perfect combination oftraining, education, and
masterminding.
So you have like, not only areyou getting the education, but
you're getting the coaching aswell.
This program is going to befreaking amazing and this is
literally for the women who arelike.
I want the roadmap to building aseven figure boutique.
(02:33):
It doesn't matter if you havezero in sales or a hundred K in
sales.
This experience, this new spacethat I'm building, is gonna be a
place for you to call home basewhere you can get the full like
business school slash coachingslash community experience.
And it's a place where I wantyou to just always know that
you're gonna have the bestcontinuing education.
(02:56):
I stay on top of everything, youguys.
I'm literally obsessed.
With this stuff.
So it's also gonna be a placewhere I can share like latest
like retail news and things thatI'm seeing, like live as I'm
seeing them in the industry.
So it's gonna be amazing.
If you want more information onthis, just DM me on Instagram
and um, just let me know, like,Hey girl, I want more info on
(03:17):
this new space, and I could talkto you more about it.
Um, it's going to be launchingin May.
So that's all I'm gonna sayright now.
Giving you a little sneak peekinto what's to come.
But yeah, it's gonna be great.
And, and one of the big focusesthat's gonna happen inside this
community is making sure thatyou are developing as much as
(03:38):
you can your own, like personaldevelopment mindset and business
skills as the leader of yourcompany.
Because I feel like what happensso often is we just put
ourselves in the box of being aboutique owner.
And what I say is like literallyanyone can.
Uh, you know, buy someinventory, go online, start
(03:59):
selling it, and call themselvesa quote unquote boutique owner.
Right?
But it's a whole nother levelwhen you look at yourself as the
leader of a company, I.
And this is how you really learnto start to scale by stretching
and getting out of the box thatyou know, the boutique owner
box.
So I'm gonna be teaching you howto do all of this inside this
(04:20):
new space.
It's going to be so frickingamazing.
So good, so juicy.
So yeah, let me know if you wantsome, the, the scoop on that and
we can, we can talk more aboutit.
Okay, so in today's episode, Iwanted to just remind you a few
things about selling and salesbecause so many times I hear you
guys tell me that selling feelsreally uncomfortable and you
(04:42):
just can't seem to get the knackof like how to make it feel good
and fun.
And not only that, but how toactually make a lot of sales.
So.
And, and what the one thing Ireally want you to understand
about selling is selling onlyfeels salesy when it comes from
a place of you not expressingwhat your products can do for
(05:06):
your customers, and instead justselling product.
So when you reframe how you lookat selling and you, and you take
it away from like selling islike me selling my product.
That's what I'm here to do.
I'm here to sell product, andthat's how you show up, which
this is literally 99% of peopleout there.
That is a really hard place togain any traction from number
(05:30):
one.
There's so much noise in theonline space now that your
content is not gonna get seen bythe right people'cause there's
just too much space and it's ortoo much noise and people aren't
going to stop and pay attentionto your content unless it's the
magical secret, which isreframing your content to be not
(05:54):
salesy.
Which is just like salesy.
An example of salesy is like youposting selfie photos, you
posting new arrivals, youposting products, and not really
making that bridge between yourbrand and your customer.
So it's like one thing to havesome new arrivals, great, love
it.
But like how do those newarrivals help your customer in
(06:15):
one way?
This is the connection that youneed to make, and this is when
you go from like feeling salesyor looking salesy to all a
sudden being a sales powerhouse.
You guys selling like across theboard, I don't care what
industry you're in, but sellingcomes down to you either like
solving someone's problem or.
(06:37):
Giving them like a desire or atransformation that they want.
It always comes back to likevery simple human psychology.
So if you're just out here likepushing products 24 7, you're
missing out on the mostimportant piece of the sales
puzzle.
So what I like to teach insideall of my programs here on the
(06:59):
podcast is how you can actuallyshow up and bring that human
connection back.
Because you guys know, you mayor may not know, I've been on a
rant about how human connectionhas been stripped away from our
industry, and it has reallyaffected so many businesses, so
much to the fact that they'reclosing down because they're,
they're not getting theeducation on how to actually
sell online.
(07:20):
It's not 20, 20.
Things are different now.
We have to show up, educated, smart, strategic, and like
leaders of our company, soselling.
Gets to be really fun.
It gets to be really simple whenyou can drown out all the noise
around you.
Like, oh, the algorithm has tolove me and I have to learn SEO,
(07:44):
and I have to learn Facebook, AlFacebook ads, and I have to like
dot, dot, dot.
Like, no.
And I'm actually like reallyencouraging a lot of my clients
right now to get back to goinglive once a week.
Yeah, because what that does isit gives you an opportunity, not
only does it give you anopportunity to put the reps in
(08:04):
and learn about talking andselling your products in a
non-salesy way, but it also getsyou in front of your audience
more so they can learn that youare not just a, like a sales
person out there just pushingproduct like you're a real
person.
You have a real heart, you, youknow, you have stuff that can
really help them in their livesand just making sure that.
(08:26):
You are, you're paying moreattention to this one key
component.
Because what I see a lot in,like, a lot of you will DM me
and be like, ally, you know,I've been trying, do, do, do,
it's not working and that kindof thing.
And it's like, it always comesback to this like getting good
at selling and getting a greatcontent strategy together,
(08:48):
getting a great sales strategytogether.
Honing in and building yourskills as a leader will be the
most important thing you do.
And which, which is why mypodcast girl, is you guys are
like so dedicated to yourbusinesses.
I love it.
Like, love it.
'cause I get dms from you andyou're like, oh yeah, I, I
listen to every podcast, Ilisten to you while I'm driving,
(09:09):
or you know, while I'm countinginventory or whatever.
And I'm like, yes.
Because when you're investinglike time in yourself, like even
just this podcast.
That means to me that says thatyou are willing to do the work,
you wanna do the work you wantthe success and the growth.
So I'm like high fiving you overhere for that.
By the way, can you tell like myvoice, I'm getting fricking sick
(09:31):
again.
The, these pre-K kids, you know, they are just little germ
monsters.
And then my son brings it hometo me and I'm like, no, I can't
do any more sickness.
So I don't think I've ever beensick as much as I have as my son
starting pre-K this year.
So we're, it's almostsummertime, so we're almost
getting a little break here.
(09:52):
But yeah.
Anyways, so the bottom line is.
Make sure you're diving intolearning how to sell Jump inside
the Trendsetter program.
I have so many great trainingson this.
Get really familiar with yourideal customer, but then also
spend the time thinking abouthow your products can help your
(10:16):
people.
Like I wanna challenge youbefore you post one more.
Inventory or one more newarrival or one more product on
any of your social media.
I wanna challenge you to dothis.
Think about how this product isgoing to help your customer
remember, either solve a problemthat they have or give them some
(10:37):
kind of transformation.
And a transformation canliterally be something like, you
wanna be the hottest girl at theparty.
Here's the this red mini dress.
Like that.
That's a transformation.
They wanna be the hottest girlat the party.
Like it's not, this is not, itdoes not have to be rocket
science, right?
It's not like you want to belike a rocket scientist, right?
(11:00):
Like, that was a funny example.
But it just, it can be verysimple.
You wanna feel good in yourclothes, you wanna feel put
together.
You wanna feel more confidentwhen you.dot, dot.
You're tired of showing up todrop off your kid in the drop
off line in like your frumpy, you know, leggings and t-shirt,
(11:20):
and you wanna feel like a littlebit more put together.
We don't judge why people wantwhat they want, but it's our job
to understand that selling isabout giving them what they
want.
It's not about us selling ourproducts, our businesses, as
much as we'd like to think isabout us, it's literally 0%
about us.
(11:40):
Maybe 1%, but 99% of having asuccessful business means it's
about the customer.
Customer focused.
Customer focused.
Okay.
I love you.
I'm so excited to just.
Dive into this new space withyou in May.
Again, don't forget to, um, DMme if you're interested.
(12:03):

you get up the upgrade of weeklycoaching with me every single

I love spending every Tuesdaywith them.
It's such a special small group, really amazing women.
(12:26):

and scaling your business, having that expert support in
your back pocket, I want you toDM me about about VIP and, um,
there's a little applicationprocess.
