Music teaches us that we really need to remind each other of it's power.
Just think It makes people dance, perhaps it provides a will buy our records. But, that's just one part of it.
Music is about making life better. It's one of the only things in life that brings people together. Out of your own free will, we get up out of our couch, fight traffic, pay hard earned money top hear music. And when we get there, we totally forget about all the things that society tells us are important.
When we sit down, we don't ask a person who'd you vote for, we don't ask if their skin tone is the right color, we don't ask how much money do you make. No,... music makes us forget all that. When we're listening to shows like this, our favorite records or attending a live concert, are we thinking about who we are going to vote for? Does any of that matter? No, music is much more powerful than that.
It's more than 12 notes. It's more than technique or some dots on a page. Music is a path forward.
Join us as we present an hour of forgetfulness with truly great artists performing great tunes here on the Andy Kimbel Show!

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
