In this episode, I sit down with my amazing friend Paige Lankford, whose unexpected pregnancy at 19 shifted the course of her life in ways she never could have imagined.
Paige was in college with big dreams of a high-powered career, world travel, and zero interest in motherhood. But when she found herself pregnant, everything changed. Her parents urged her not to marry, but she and her boyfriend—now a successful singer-songwriter—got married anyway and spent a decade building a life and raising two children, including one who would go on to become a country music icon.
After a painful divorce and a long battle with guilt from her faith background, Paige eventually discovered the unshakable grace of God. Now married for over 20 years and raising another child, she shares what it looks like to release shame, find redemption, and live fully in freedom.
This episode is for the woman who thought her past disqualified her, for the mom who feels like she missed her calling, and for anyone who’s ever wondered if God could still use their story.
