What that also escapes after Chabuzzo fails to seal the
containment vessel. Apprentice Engineer Malachite,

and Raheem grabs one of the larva and it lets out a gas that

the lab. But you also find out from Ting
that just because the computer says someone is in cryostasis
doesn't mean they're in cryostasis.
But Ting is eventually killed bythe Xeomorph and Morrow finds

out that Petrovich is the one revealed to be behind the
sabotage since he has made a deal with Boy Cavalier to give
him a hybrid body after, you know, he finds out that his
girlfriend, Well the was killed on the mission and like one of
the aliens went in through a high or something like that.
So Petrovich ends up killing Clem and in a gunfight with

Moro, but Moro gets the jump on Petrovich and kills him.
And then we get to where we started the show with Moro
selling himself in the panic room, but he lets Zavari get
killed. So then we jump back to the
present where Morrow meets with Utani, Utani offering to

retrieve the specimen. The specimens since it's been 65
years and everyone in Morrow knows his dad, including his
daughter, who died in a fire at 19 years old.
And he says that he is also going to kill Boy.
Cavalier So this was a very goodepisode.
This was basically an episode, Imean a movie, an alien movie.
So like this really should have been like a.

And keep in mind this is a bingeshow, so I could have watched it
all and just, you know, spoiled it for myself.

At first I thought France and Eve was going to be Lady Gaga's

character. I've pretty much been going into
this season pretty much dark, but Lady Gaga will actually be a
psychic teacher. I guess we're getting the
flashback episode 1960s Nevermore, but Francis O'Connor
is playing Tyler's mom, who apparently is also Isaac's

(01:10:45):
sister, so it's going to be a weird family reunion.
All right, my next series is Dexter Resurrection.
So we had the season finale for season 1 of Dexter Resurrection
episode 10, which was titled injustice for all but they.

(01:11:06):
Story by Clyde Phillips, Alexandra Franklin and mark
mizuzzi mizzynski written by Clyde Phillips directed by Marco
siega. So we pick up right where we
left off with Dexter trapped in the vault, who begins to
hallucinate about Brian teasing him.
But Quinn calls Angel and that makes him realize oh shit,

(01:11:33):
Batista's got a phone so Harrison's busy getting it on
with crap I can't remember her name.
Gigi. And Harrison goes and gets the
job at Prater's house to work asa server during the big gala.
And he is Dexter's communicatingwith him via FaceTime on how to

(01:11:57):
get to the penthouse area so he can break him out the bunker.
But Charlie finds Harrison, and while Dexter's in the bunker,
Dexter finds a bunch of files onevery serial killer that Prater
has ever met and a file on Charlie.
Dexter tells Charlie about that.Charlie flips out on Prater,

(01:12:17):
tells him. He tells him that she quits and
Prater begins to have his gala while Dexter is slowly figuring
out the code for the for the vault, which could either be the
day his parents died or the inmate number of the serial
killer who killed his parents. But so Dexter Harrison gets

(01:12:42):
Dexter out. They get ready to leave but then
Dexter goes back for his original slides and Harrison
potentially, but he gets caught by Prater so as soon as Dexter
thinks he's out Prater calls himback in.

(01:13:03):
Becomes a whole situation. Harrison knocks out Prater with
some ketamine that Dexter gave him just in case.
Dexter eventually straps Prater to the table that he killed his
brother on, and Dexter reveals that basically, you really don't

(01:13:26):
fit my coat, so I'm not going totake your blood to remember you
by because you are a killer. I'm just going to kill you to
keep my son safe. So Dexter kills him, obviously
chops him up, takes his body, meanwhile takes his, also gets
ready to take his boat, sets thealarm.
So now all of New York can find out that Prater is obsessed with

(01:13:48):
serial killers and that he is also a cop killer.
So they find Batista's body, they find the gun that he used
to kill Prater with. I mean that Prater used to kill
Batista with and all the files on the serial killers as well as
the New York Ripper which was one of the cases that Olivia was

(01:14:11):
obsessed with. Is it Olivia or what?
What was her name? She wasn't Olivia, Olivia was
the guy. What is her name?
Seraph. I mean I'm sorry.
Wallace Dexter takes Prater's boat, dumps his body in the

(01:14:31):
river. Also before he left he took a
bunch of files on serial killersthat are still out running
around, including Al AKA in Rapunzel.
He also comes to the realizationthat his connections to blessing
inherent Harrison will help makehim more human.
So on that note, hell of a finale.

(01:14:51):
Man, I really I am so glad that Clyde Phillips is back.
Never leave the show, don't let Scott Buck become showrunner
again because although season 5 was fine, season 6 was OK.
But 7 and 8 those the Cardinals send so hell of an amazing
season. I really thought there's going
to be like a mid credit or post credit scene of Dexter catching
up with Al and you know getting him on the table or something

(01:15:14):
like that but there was nothing there.
I very much love this episode and it was it was very good.
All in all, 10 out of 10 like the season did not miss for me
and I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
Watch Dexter Resurrection if youhaven't and if for some reason
they fucking cancel this show then Showtime is just fucked up

(01:15:34):
then it's like I said before, they only got 4 fucking shows.
Dexter Resurrection, whatever that one, The Agency, the Shy,
and I don't remember what the fuck the last one was.
But anyway, I'm going to talk about Peacemaker now.
Season 2 episode 3, which is called another Rick up my

(01:15:54):
Sleeve, so written by James Gunn, directed by Greg Mottola.
So we actually find out and beginning of this episode that
Harcourt was dating Rick Flag before the events of the Suicide
Squad. Either they were dating or they
were hooking up. So that's a hell of A twist to

(01:16:16):
incorporate later on down the line.
So meanwhile, we jump back to present day of Peacemaker Prime
on alternate Earth, where he goes and meets up with Harcourt
and he learns that Rick Flag is alive on this earth and has been
dating Harcourt. So they go for a walk and he

(01:16:37):
finds out why this version of Harcourt and that version of him
broke up because of his infidelity and unwillingness to
commit to a serious rape relationship.
Meanwhile, their conversation isinterrupted by the Sons of
Liberty, who are a parent or paramilitary terrorist group who
threatens to basically destroy abanquet explosives.
Chris sneaks into the building, kills all the Sons of Liberty,

(01:16:59):
deactivates the bomb and is praised as a hero.
Keith shows up, they have a conversation about, you know,
everything that that Earth's Chris was going through and
these things off. But Chris also goes back to his
universe, unaware that Sasha Bordeaux and Argus agents have

(01:17:20):
mobilized A-Team, including economist, judo master and an
eagle hunter to raid his house. So very awkward moment that's
going to happen because basically as soon as he comes
back through the the closet door, they're going to be
outside his house. And based off the previews for
next week's episode, Judo masters going to kick

(01:17:44):
peacemakers ass so thoroughly. Very much love this episode.
It's it's good to see Joel Kinnaman back.
Like I said, I was going to bring him up later on in the
episode as Rick Flagg. Although this version this
version of Rick Flagg and hardcore they are not badasses
at all. Like this version of Rick Flagg
is an insecure dweeb, I guess, who had some type of field work

(01:18:10):
because they do reference that he was in the army.
So I don't know what made him decide to push out more or less,
but very good episode. No eagerly in this episode we
got a little bit of out of bio economics.
It's just being here like he waslike, yo, I'm not raiding the

(01:18:32):
house. And Sasha was like, OK, you're
fired. He's like, I'm out.
And just like you're fired, he'slike.
OK, I'm in. Because you can't lose your job
without finding nothing. So yeah, five more episodes of
can't wait to see what's going to happen with this.
Because from what I recall, I think Red St.
Wild has some type of powers. But it's always good to see

(01:18:53):
Michael Ricker playing like sometype of weird ass character.
But yeah, I mean, I'm loving this season so far.
I really can't complain about nothing, but OK, what do I have
now? That's what, 4 episodes of TV?
Dexter, Peacemaker, Alien, EarthWednesday.
So yeah, let's go ahead and get into The Toxic Avenger.
So this movie, 2 years in the making.

(01:19:16):
Well, it came out two years. Well, it was supposed to be
released two years ago. A very good movie directed by
Macon Blair stars Peter Dinklage, Jacob Tremblay, Taylor
Page, Julia Davis, Johnny Connie, Elijah Wood and Kevin
Bacon. So Kevin Bacon plays Bob.

(01:19:38):
Garbage. Garbage garbage.
Sorry. Peter Dinklage plays Winston
Goose AKA The Toxic Avenger. Jacob Tremblay plays Wade who is
Winston's stepson. Taylor Page plays JJ Dorothy who
is a whistleblower. Elijah Wood plays Fritz
Garbinger who is Bob's younger brother.

(01:19:58):
Sarah Niles plays Mayor Togar. So standard movie based off of a
corrupt company. Things of that nature.
So JJ worked. At BTH, which is the company
that Kevin Bacon's character owns, which is basically been

(01:20:19):
polluting, the city manages to sneak information to an
investigative reporter who was attacked by the killer nuts,
which is a they're a gang of assassins, but they're also a
Rack Rock, a rap rock group that's on BT HS payroll.
So they killed the journalist, but JJ escapes, and the city is

(01:20:43):
St. Roma, where Winston Goose is
struggling to support his stepson Wade, whose mother died
of cancer. And Winston sees the neighbor,
Daisy, being attacked by a mob guy who basically owns the
property, but he doesn't intervene.
And Wade is like, why don't you do something?
And Winston is like, sometimes it's best to do nothing.

(01:21:05):
And Bob, eventually, I'm sorry, Wade eventually finds out that
he has a brain disease, probablyfrom the chemicals at BTH, which
are going to kill him and is notcovered by his insurance.
So in a desperate need to, you know, get help, he goes into a

(01:21:26):
fundraiser gala and begs Bob to get him the medical attention.
But Bob has his assistant Chrissy, basically kick him out.
So Bob's like, OK, so y'all wantto do this to me?
Fuck y'all. I'm going to go back to work,
sneak in, go to the vault, take some money.
But meanwhile, JJ is there trying to get some chemical
samples. To to expose the corruption of

(01:21:49):
BTH and Fritz. Sees the sees JJ on camera and
sends the killer nuts to the factory.
But they accidentally killed weight.
I mean they kill Winston and throw him in the toxic ooze
which causes him to become the toxic avenger.
So he goes back home where he freaks out, knocks him off a

(01:22:11):
fire escape. Winston attacks a mob boss who
was attacking Daisy because he went back later that night to
get the the deed to our propertyand the town sees him and labels
him a freak. Meanwhile, Winston comes into
contact with some weird guy in the woods who says he's a doctor
but he's not really. So then Winston's talking to him

(01:22:32):
about everything that happened and the the the the doctor guy
in the woods is like you got to convince your son that you're
you. So there is a hold up at a
burger joint which I can't remember the name of, but the
whole issue was there a bunch ofalt right people who are afraid
and upset that the company has gone woke because they changed

(01:22:55):
the mascot to a woman. So Winston goes in there, kills
them all, saves the hostages, gets labeled a hero, and Wade
figures out that that's his son.Meanwhile Bob Garinger also
figures out that that's Winston because he saw the Tutu that
Winston was wearing while he wasdancing with Wade the night
before. He went to go ask him for help

(01:23:16):
and his BTH uniform as well. So they go after him because
apparently Bob's got some performance issues down there.
And Bob, scientists also revealed that, oh, you know.
Well apparently whatever happened to him gave him super
strength and a super large Dick.So a bunch of shenanigans occur.
JJ eventually shows up, she saves Wade, but the killer nuts

(01:23:42):
eventually catch Wade after shooting JJ.
So Winston finds JJ alongside the street, takes her back into
the into the woods where the doctor is.
But this guy's like, who told you I was a doctor.
So he uses his toxic blood to heal her and then.
They come up with a plan to saveWade from Bob, Gehringer and and

(01:24:07):
Chrissy. So they actually get knocked out
and start experimenting on Bob taking his blood, trying to
figure out a way to super infuseit.
I mean take Winston's blood, figure out a way to super infuse
it. Bob gets frustrated.
Apparently on like the 3rd or 4th batch, although it's not
perfected for human consumption,he takes it anyway.

(01:24:27):
He turns into like this weird wolf man.
Chrissy also wants to be superhuman, takes whatever is
left of the vial that Bob had and she becomes like some type
of weird werewolf person as well.
Fritz is like yo y'all are tripping at this point.
Y'all need to stop this. You need to let the kid.
Go blah de blah. De blah they don't listen to
Fritz, Bob and Winston fight it out after Wade dies.

(01:24:52):
Put that in the air quote. But you actually find out that
Fritz actually saves him from the explosion of the bunker that
he was in because there was an underground pathway that Fritz
took. So Bob eventually gets killed by
Winston and Chrissy eventually gets killed by JJ.
They revealed to the world that BTH is A.

(01:25:14):
Horrible company that is basically responsible for a lot
of the community being poisoned.And Winston is labeled a hero
who is now basically, I guess like witness protection or
something like that, and you later.
Find out because. Chrissy slits Fritz's throat,

(01:25:34):
and he is still. Alive although he is.
Been arrested. Also in the post credit scene
you found out that Chrissy is still alive as well, but she has
been horribly burnt and Winston also teaches the audience how to
make a. Grilled cheese sandwich.
Like the best grilled cheese sandwich?
Apparently so. All in all, like the movie I

(01:25:55):
remember watching the talks withninja as a kid was not this
gruesome. But this movie, it's called the
toxic Avenger unrated. So I guess they made it as hard
as close to unrated as they can make it without because you
know, once you make a movie unrated, it's pretty much hard
to like make a profit on that shit.
So I love the movie The it only made $3,000,000 so far.

(01:26:18):
I don't know, I feel like if this movie would have actually
come out like 2 years ago when it was originally supposed to,
it would have done a lot better or like do a better job of
promoting. I didn't see any promotion for
this movie, I've just been keeping an eye on it since I
talked about it almost four years ago on this very podcast.
But yeah, I like the movie. It was hilarious.

(01:26:38):
The funniest thing was when Winston is able to hero, you see
them standing on the roof and they do the whole circular view
of the hero. He's but he's really just taking
a piss on the side of of the roof.
And he found out that he has an acid piss.
But although 10 out of 10 for me, I like the comedy, I like
the action, I like the gourd, but nothing was too over the

(01:26:58):
top. Everything was just perfect
where it was. So yeah.
And Lloyd Kaufman, the creator of Trauma and the type of vendor
franchise makes it came like andand the city is obviously a
homage on Trauma. I got the same moment, but a lot
of the times the S was obscured or like cover or like faded
away. So it's Charming Village.

(01:27:21):
