In the 10th episode of “The Announcer’s Hour” podcast, Andrew Klein joins me to chat about his time at the University of Miami and his involvement with award-winning television shows at the school and the radio station WVUM 90.5 FM.
Klein will soon start with CBS affiliate WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Klein will gather news for the station and work just outside his native state of New York.
Klein graduated from the University of Miami in May with a B.S.C. in Broadcast Journalism. At Miami, Klein called games for WVUM 90.5 FM and was a sports anchor and reporter for the television shows “SportsDesk” and “NewsVision.” A versatile voice, Klein has hosted segments on set and called massive moments at the arena, such as No. 9 Miami’s upset win over No. 1 Indiana in the NCAAW Tournament in 2023.
