Ricketts is the current voice of the FIU Panthers, and has announced for the ACC Network, ESPN+, Apple TV, MLS Next Pro, and WVUM 90.5 FM. He started his career in North Carolina at the television station WECT, winning awards in sports reporting while doing so.
