If you’re looking for holistic ways to care for your hormones, you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome to part two of our Yoga + Your Hormones series. This week we’re getting a little crash course into Ayurveda which seeks to balance the subtle body in order to heal the physical body. There are three energetic essences that make up the subtle body: prana, ojas and tejas and they are closely tied with hormones. We’ll go over a number of ways yoga can help to increase these building blocks along with these four major wellness principles to support the hormones:

1_Stabalize blood sugar

2_Nuture your adrenals

3_Support pathways of elimination

4_Be mindful of endocrine disruptors

And to help you on point number 4, I’ve put together an exhaustive guide of all the household, personal and beauty products I’ve tried and loved that are hormone-friendly. Give it a read here.

Tune in next week for a chat on two of my favorite topics for hormonal support: embracing your feminine energy and cycle syncing.
