Chris D’Arienzo began his career in Hollywood as a PA (production assistant) at Disney Studios. That job led to more work as a PA and actor on the groundbreaking Ellen DeGeneres sitcom Ellen. A journalism major in college, his true passion was writing. He eventually began selling projects as a screenwriter, but they were not being produced. Until he wrote the book for the hugely successful Broadway musical Rock of Ages. He also adapted the screenplay for and directed the film Barry Munday. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars?
