upbringing and educationalpursuits.
Chloe was raised by Michelle ina health conscious environment.
Chloe pursued a master's degreein marketing and business
management in New York.
However, after facingchallenges and maintaining her
well-being independently, shereturned to Los Angeles, joining

(00:50):
forces with her mother, michelle, to rediscover holistic
health principles.

(01:31):
During this podcast episode, wewill discuss hyperbaric oxygen
therapy and other holistictopics.
Make sure to check your shownotes for links on Instagram,
facebook, tiktok and YouTube tothese two dynamic ladies.
Let's get started.
Well, thank you so much forjoining me as guests.
Your energy is dynamic.

(01:52):
You're beautiful ladies, Icannot wait to share your story
with the community.
So, if you don't mind, I wouldlike to know how is it that
we've got these masterminds onebusiness expert.
So how is it that we've gotthese masterminds one business
expert, one yoga expert thatcame together to do hyperbaric
oxygen?
So can you all share with mesort of your origin story?

(02:12):
I?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
think the community would love to know how this came
to be, how your company came tobe.
Okay, first of all, chloe is mydaughter, so it's a
mother-daughter combination.
Here, partnership is a lot oflove and most of it a first of
all.
Chloé is my daughter, so it's amother-daughter combination.
Here, partnership, there's alot of love and, most of it, a
lot of passion.
Okay, and so my background isyou said it, yoga teacher,

(02:42):
ayanga yoga teacher and yogatherapist and also fashion
designer.
So, from Paris, I met myhusband in Paris.
We got married in Paris.
Originally, I'm from Morocco, Iwas born in Pays, morocco, and I
had three kids in France andfour in America with the same
husband, so a total of sevenchildren, and Chloe the youngest
one.

(03:02):
And so it was during COVID,when we had this pandemic, I had
to close my yoga studio.
I had a huge yoga studio here, very dynamic one, and I
transformed the yoga studio intoa healing COVID center.
During the whole pandemic andduring the pandemic, I've seen

(03:28):
so many people in request andpeople looking for health and
what next?
How long this pandemic is goingto last, what are the viruses
coming from?
And then I investigate and Idid the research to see how I
can help, what is the next movefor the future to be alive and

(03:50):
to reconnect with the societyand the community.
And what came to me is I wasvery lucky to find out about the
hyperbaric, those chambers, what they do, what they are and
if it's a possibility to bringit mainstream, to democraticize

(04:15):
this healing process.
That was a treatment done onlyin hospitals and so I made a
long research and more I wasstudying, more I was getting a
big interest and at thebeginning I said, okay, so I'm
going to buy and organize, tohave a big chamber made just for

(04:35):
my family, for the nextpandemic and things like that.
And then, as he was going, Iwas saying, okay, you know what,
I have a big center.
I saying, okay, you know what,I have a big center, I have the
space, you know, and perhaps thebest way is to make something
big, something substantial herein Beverly Hills.
And at this period of time Ineeded a partner.

(04:58):
I didn't know.
I asked all my other childrenand they said this is too big
for us and it's kind of medical.
It's not, we are, and it wasreally difficult, but it's
something really, really Iwanted to do myself.
So I called Chloe Chloe wasliving in New York and and then,

(05:19):
no question, she jumped into aflight and she came and I said,
okay, we're going to do it,we're going to make a change and
especially that Chloe, with heryouth and her energy, I thought
that this is going to give hera purpose in life and a new
direction and for and biggermission okay, bigger call.

(05:42):
This was my call and I reallytransmitted to Chloe and Chloe
also was like, very excited.
So she's going to talk aboutthis venture, how we started and
we started from home because itwas still COVID, and so we
started studying and we startedbuilding a website together and
we learned from scratch and westarted writing blogs and we

(06:08):
really worked hands-to-handstogether okay, with up and down,
but we did it.
And after I took care of thedesign and the vision that I had
and I traveled to Germany andout of the country to put those
machines together and the brandimage also and all my studies

(06:33):
and slowly by slowly, it came towhat it is today Center of
Longevity and Recovery and I'madding also different services
and to complement the, theprotocols, and we develop some
new protocols Oxygenergy 2protocols to help the people and

(06:55):
I've seen a lot of passion sofar.
So as we see demand, we expandon the demand and we develop
more of the protocol that peopleneed.
So I'm going to let Chloe talkabout her joining me and her
feelings.
I think it's important that youknow that, because you show

(07:17):
some interest on that, charlize.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
So Chloe, Okay, so I graduated from college with a
marketing degree marketing andbusiness management and then I
was in New York.
So after college I got a job ata baby product company and I
was the e-commerce and marketingmanager and I loved it.
And then, two years after Istarted that job, I remember I

(07:44):
was freezing cold waiting forthe bus and in New York and my
mom calls me and I know we werein the middle of the pandemic
and my mom was very worriedabout our family.
She wanted to make sure we wereall healthy.
You know she has seven kids.
She's very caring.
So she was telling me aboutthese hyperbaric chambers and it

(08:04):
was very interesting, but Ididn't know so much about it.
And then she called me while Iwas waiting for the bus and she
said I'm very interested inthese hyperbaric chambers.
We have my old yoga studio thatwe're not going to have yoga
anymore in it.
What do you think about comingto LA and we'll open up a
hyperbaric center?
Maybe put one chamber and justdo hyperbaric.

(08:24):
And I'm like, okay, yes, quickly moved my whole life and
we sat down and we were reallytalking about it and we're like,
no, if we're going to do this,we're going to do this big and
we're going to do a real centerfor longevity.
Other services, more multiplechambers, the best chambers we
can find.
So, from working out of ourgarage and building the website,

(08:45):
picking up paint samples andmaking the logo and just
everything, putting it alltogether, we really joined
forces, from my talents and hertalents, and we just created
Oxenergy 2 and what it is today, and we would not even have
imagined that it grew into whatit did today, but I think we
just started learning and westarted taking courses and being

(09:07):
certified and going toconferences and we kind of just
dove headfirst into it, and soit's really, really exciting.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Oh, my goodness, I think the listeners could take
so much inspiration from thoseshort stories so much and I do
have my list of questions fromthose short stories so much, and
I do have my list of questions.
I just want to comment that thebirthing of Ox Energy came from
a yoga studio.
So that's interesting.
So, being that, michelle, thatyou are a yoga expert, you're an

(09:36):
Iyengar certified instructor, and then breath work would be
your expertise, and then youmove into hyperbaric, that is
completely fascinating.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yes, yeah, yeah, it's exactly like you said fully
rebirth.
You know it's like a fullcircle because as a designer, I
had a big company of design andI went into even interior design
to my career.
So, from the creativity of thedesign and bringing color into

(10:10):
life, I dressed women and then, after I dressed them with my
yoga and my spirituality, andnow we are healing and growing
and bring back this kind ofhappiness and balance into the
woman life and, of course, everyone that is amazing, not
only the woman.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
That's amazing.
I knew you two were going to beincredible guests.
That is amazing.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
That is so incredible .
So I'm familiar with hyperbaricoxygen.
My background is as a physician.
So in my community it's offeredfor wound care and I've seen
amazing results.
What happens here because I'min the center of the country in
Oklahoma, is that our hyperbaricfacilities often are booked out

(11:00):
and become inaccessible becausethere's not enough, are booked
out and becoming accessiblebecause there's not enough.
Maybe you two can share with mejust some of the basics of your
studio for our listeners thatare not local to you in Los
Angeles.
Your social media does guide usthrough what it's like to enter

(11:20):
and what it's like to come in,but can you tell us a little bit
about the studio, like justbecause you said you have
multiple chambers and everything?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah, sure, so well, first the entire studio is a
sort of mint green, so we didthat to make it very calming and
we made it in a way that onceyou come into Ox synergy you
feel like you're in a differentworld, a different planet.
So it's sort of to leave yourworries behind.
A lot of our clients are comingfrom doctor's offices, which

(11:50):
and they want somewhere they cango, where they can relax and
they can feel welcome and theycan kind of feel like they're
getting a spa treatment, eventhough hyperbaric, you know, is
not like getting a massage.
Hyperbaric, you know, it's notlike getting a massage.
So they come here and we havemassage chairs, we have
reclining chairs for people towait, we have IV drips with
vitamins, we have infrared saunawith red light therapy, we have

(12:12):
lymphatic drainage massages, wehave a biocharger with pulse
electromagnetic fields which isreally cool to send electricity
to your body.
And then we have fourmulti-seat hyperbaric chambers
which are very spacious,non-caustrophobic, we have TVs
inside of them, you can bring inyour family, your friends.
So it's really exciting.

(12:33):
And then Michelle actuallyoffers yoga classes on Sundays,
yoga and meditation classes forour members classes for our
members.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, to go back to what Chloe said, the feeling was
to create a bubble.
When people come here, theyneed to feel safe and it's a
bubble where they have theirprivacy and also that the place
where they can trust.
So it is not a medical facilityand it is not a spa facility

(13:08):
either.
It's where both of them meetand it's really very harmonious.
So people when they come here, they say, oh, which a unique
place.
It's really special.
So they feel it it, they feelthe energy, they feel the
holistic side and the medicalside at the same time.

(13:30):
So there is this feeling oftrust that they're going to come
, they have a treatment andthey're going to do good and
they're in control of theirhealth.
Because, at the end of the day,I believe me myself, from my
background, that you are yourown healer.
Whatever you put in your body, whatever you put in your mind,
is what you're going to be orwho you are.

(13:52):
So I apply this from A to Z.
You know, and I think peoplecan feel it.
And also I talk a lot withpeople here and they love it
because they reconnect withthemselves, because at the end
of the day, when you are 90minutes or 120 minutes in a

(14:13):
hyperbaric.
This is your chance not to bebored, like people can think,
but it's a chance where you canstart talking to yourself.
So it's also a preparation thatI'm doing with some of the
people is different case to casewow, so you'll have to forgive
me.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I was fighting the temptation to book my flight to
come out.
It's so hard not to be selfishwhen I take these podcasts.
I meet amazing companies likeyou two and all I could think
was like I want to do my IV andthen my hyperbaric.
It's hard to stay on task.
So the environment even thoughthis hyperbaric oxygen, as I

(14:53):
knew it, is medical, this isdefinitely more of a healing
environment with multipleservices, and the client can
look forward to a whole bodyexperience when they get there.
Correct?

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Yes, exactly, exactly .

Speaker 1 (15:10):
And that brings me to the next question are what are
the misconceptions of hyperbaricoxygen therapy?
Because, as I knew it, it wasjust for the very sick.
I've seen it in wound carediabetics that have wounds that
won't heal, burn victims.
But can you all, can you both, educate us on what the

(15:31):
misconceptions are, and how isit that this is offered to
anyone that seeks it?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah.
So a big misconception is thatit's only for certain conditions
and so it's actually good foreverything general health and
wellness, also longevity healinginternally.
And a lot of people are saying,oh, hyperbaric is only for burn
victims.
But really there's a long listof what hyperbaric is good for,

(15:59):
and I think everyone almosteveryone can benefit from
hyperbaric.
We all have wounds that aren'thealing, and when I say wounds,
I don't just mean a wound onyour skin that isn't healing.
Maybe our brain is notfunctioning properly, or our
liver is not functioningproperly, or we have a skin
condition, so our skin's nothealing.
So all of that is whathyperbaric is good for, and it's

(16:22):
not something that people thinkof when they first think of
hyperbaric.
Another thing that people canthink of is, oh, hyperbaric is
scary, oh, I would never do that.
But it's all about finding theright center and the right
people to help guide you throughthe experience, because that is
99% of the experience it's thecenter, the people, the chambers

(16:42):
, the environment that you'reputting yourself in.
So I would say that those twothings are super important when
looking for hyperbaric to justunderstand why you're doing it
and understand where you shouldgo to do it.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, and I want to elaborate on that, saying that
the technology is very advancednow and the way they use it is
very scary.
The chamber used to be like atube, like a scanner, and it's
really scary.
People and you go and you put afull blouse, full cotton, you

(17:17):
change yourself, they put your100% oxygen inside the chamber,
which also is a fire hazard.
But now with the new technologythey fixed all this so there is
really no more accident likethat, because the oxygen is
delivered differently, themachines are done differently.

(17:40):
So we went we're going with thenewest technology, everything
is computerized, everything isvery safety first, so it's a
fully different game right now.
Now also in the hospital, because I didn't have enough
machine and the treatment isquite expensive you have to

(18:01):
understand that for differentreasons, and so they could not
put everyone.
So they really did.
And they could not do studies, scientific studies on all the
cases, because it would havebeen taking so long and so many
people.
So they did the most important, like the burn victim, the diver

(18:25):
or the wound, the diabeticpeople, and from this the
insurance take those people andthey really reduce.
And even now the hyperbaric arefull in the hospital and they
keep buying machine, addingmachine, but it's not enough.
And also now the new research.

(18:46):
There is a lot of new researchall over the world with
different big centers andresearchers that come with new
studies and new data that showsthat the off-labels are becoming
really more serious.
So there is a debate, but sofar there is so many conditions

(19:09):
that can be treated and may helpa lot of people at a different
level, because oxygen worksreally on the same level and it
is our first nutrient that givesus the energy necessary to
function.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
So I'm going to share with the listeners, because in
my previous life I was ininternal medicine, so I treated
very sick patients.
So I had many patients that haddiabetic foot ulcers that
received hyperbaric oxygentherapy.
So here's a secret patientsthat had diabetic foot ulcers
that received hyperbaric oxygentherapy.
So here's the secret thosepatients would fight so hard,

(19:48):
even after their wound washealed, to go back to hyperbaric
oxygen treatment.
And you two just answer thatquestion for me, because it
would be the strangestconversations, because they
would be better and they wouldjust make up reasons because you
know, know, insurance, and theywould have so many sessions,
yeah, by insurance, and theywould just beg to go back.

(20:09):
And I'd wonder why and I reallywasn't like I need to go back,
I got a splinter I got.
You know they'd want to.
Of course it's this insurance,so they would deny it.
But is this probably becausethey're getting these other
benefits from hyperbaric oxygen?
Not just?
You know I'm from the wound, but they were, and I mean it's
happened over and over again andI would be mystified, like, and

(20:29):
we're going to go back and theywould just do any, and I had a
few, I mean spent a few yearsthat tried to find it again.
I'm in Oklahoma, you are in LosAngeles.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
They try to find hyperbaric oxygen treatment on
their own after yeah, yeah, youknow, is addictive, like you
said, absolutely it helps alsoon different levels.
So they see, uh, lookingyounger or feeling better, or
more energetic, more happy, orthe sight, view, the vision
improve.

(20:57):
So there is a lot of otherfunction also that attach, like
sexual arising, you know, formen and erection, everything the
hyperbaric is doing, butnobody's really talking about it
.
But it does.
So I have some customer thatcame for something and it takes
other things and effectively thethe hyperbaric is addictive

(21:21):
because we never talk, nobodyreally talking about the memory
of the cells.
So even if you go for a woundand the wound is closed and
everything is good, mysuggestion is always to have a
maintenance program and tocontinue.
It's not because it's closed,that that's it.
I have a few customers thatdon't have pain anymore and they

(21:42):
leave.
They even don't finish thetreatment because they feel that
they don't have pain and theydon't want to give this time,
this extra time to the treatmentwhich I keep calling them and I
say, no, you have to come inand train because your cells
very quick.
So some listen, some doesn't.
Because your cells are veryquick, so some listen, some
don't, but I know for surethey're going to come back,

(22:05):
because the memory of the cellis what you need to attach.
The problem is that there is nostudy in that.
Because we cannot study our ownmemory, how are you going to
study the memory of the cellsbut the intelligence of the body
?
Me, as a yoga expert, I cantell you that your skin has a
memory.

(22:26):
Every piece of your organ, every cell, is full of energy
and memory and until your cells, your full androgenesis system
is not fully capable tounderstand what is trained for.
You don't want to have somesenescent cells, you just want

(22:47):
to have a lot of good cells, alot of blood flow.
You want to change your DNA andyou can do that through
hyperbaric.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
That is amazing.
So my next question ishyperbaric oxygen therapy is
something that athletes mightwant to do before game day.
So tell me about this.
This sounds like sort of anoptimizing biohacking type of
service as far as athleteswanting to come in and get a

(23:20):
boost before they need toperform.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, so actually it's funny because horses can't
go in a hyperbaric chamberbefore a race because it's
considered a performanceenhancing drug.
So it is actually like, yeah,it's not allowed.
When horses race they can't goin the chamber.
I guess people were doing thatand then they caught on to it

(23:44):
and said, okay, this is notallowed anymore.
People were doing that and thenthey caught on to it and they
said, okay, this is not allowedanymore.
So I mean, if that's the casethen for humans, imagine what it
could do for us.
I mean it increases your energy, it can increase your
performance.
It increases the blood flow inyour body, which means your
muscles are getting more bloodflow, they're able to repair
faster, recover faster, they'reable to move faster.
You can have a better sleep.

(24:05):
You know, when you sleep betterat night before a big race, you
perform better.
So it just helps your bodyoverall perform at its optimal
performance.
So it's kind of like asuperhuman.
So it really really helps.
We have a lot of football andbasketball players who come here
and they do between five and 20sessions before a big fight or

(24:26):
game and it just boosts theirperformance like crazy.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
The biggest players in the world do hyperbaric and
they just are not talking aboutit that is amazing yeah, some of
them have the soft chamberbecause you have to know also
that there is soft chambers, which is hyper, very portable,
hyperbaric, so some people havea softer chamber from the

(24:52):
investment.
The only thing is that the softchamber doesn't bring you to a
very high pressure, so it'sreally just to maintain, okay,
but, uh, it does this job forsome people yeah, and I have a
lot of people that come here andthey work out 20 minutes before
they go in the chamber andthat's really what helps you

(25:15):
perform.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
You get your blood flowing, you get your muscles
pumping and you go in thechamber.
And I have some customers thatare really into working out and
they were doing hyperbaric thedays that they were doing these
hard workouts and they weresaying itic, the days that they
were doing these hard workoutsand they were saying it's crazy.
I've been doing the hardestworkouts of my life.
I've been able to push throughthem and I'm not waking up sore.

(25:36):
I have zero soreness and when, typically they wouldn't be able
to like move out of bed, so itmakes a really huge difference.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
So they're actually getting their workout in before
the treatment?

Speaker 2 (25:49):
yeah, we have we have a gym.
Yeah, we have a gym here.
We have some machines, someequipment.
So sometimes they come 30minutes before the treatment,
they use the gym and after theygo inside the chamber that's
amazing.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
that is so for the rest of us, for the average
person.
What would I expect if I wantedto get hyperbaric oxygen
therapy going just proactively?
What should I expect?
What would I be looking out for?
It sounds like I could beexpecting to get some
optimization of my muscles, ofmy muscles.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, the thing is we are different than any centers
because the thing is it's wepersonalize the protocol for
everyone.
Like I said, you'll come andyou tell me and by talking at
the beginning you're going tothink you come just you're
curious and you want to overhaulthe health.
But by going through thequestion that I will ask you,

(26:49):
you're going to realize that youhave some issue that you never
really talk and in fact you wantto get better here.
And then from this we establishwith a goal what's your goal?
We talk about it, we agreeabout the protocol that fits you
.
That be the best for you.
If it's to do some light therapy, if you want just to have

(27:13):
fatigue and sometimes you don'thave energy, so it'd be a
different protocol.
So if it's just to get to feelyounger, to increase your
collagen and to feel goodbecause you have a surgery
coming, so it will all depend onall those elements.
Or if you want to have a bettercognitive, better memory, or

(27:36):
you want to increase your powerof walking, because after eight
hours you're tired, soeverything will be designed just
for you by adding a few thingsand the way we put them in the
different orders.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
So for the listeners, in your show notes you will
find how to connect with theircenter.
But if you two don't mind, canyou share with us some of the
details what it would look liketo schedule?
Because as we're talking, Ijust realized we're coming on
travel season.
You're in Los Angeles, so a lotof listeners might be coming
your way anyway.
So how would it look like toschedule?

(28:12):
How do they find you to gettheir session in while they're
in Los Angeles traveling onvacation?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Yeah, of course.
So well you can find us.
We're in Beverly Hills, losAngeles, california, so you
could find us on Wilshire andSan Vicente.
Our exact address is 113 NorthSan Vicente Boulevard on the
second floor.
We have valet parking offeredcomplimentary if you're coming
to our center, and our center'sname is Oxenergy2.
I know some people have troublepronouncing it, but it's like

So even if you're not inCalifornia but you're going to
be making your way there, youmight as well get some wellness
done while you're traveling.
But any final parting advice orwords for us ladies?

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Yeah, I have something to say.
It doesn't matter how old youare, at any age, it doesn't
matter what you're sick with orwhat health conditions you have.
It's super important to comeand take care of your health.
Hyperbaric is great foreveryone and we also have other
services.
It's also great preventativemedicine.
So we are not anyone withoutour health.

(29:46):
We want to live a long, healthylife, so it's very important to
take care of it and just get toknow the new technology that's
around, and we're here to helpgive it to you yeah, and it's
it's offer.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
It's here, so I suggest everyone to take
advantage of it, because younever know.
Life is short and you want tolive it the best that you can be
and expand on your life andhealth span and to keep your
function as much as you can, your activity, your cognitive

(30:21):
memory, your health in general.
And if you have anything thatis coming or dying in your body
or a trauma or a long covidsymptom, the, the hyperbaric is
here and may help youtremendously, uh, being who you
supposed to be.
So it's a kind of reversingaging.

(30:42):
This is what hyperbaric does.
It's not only anti-aging, butit's really stopping the clock
and going backward at thecellular level, and you can even
test your blood, test yourtelomere, and you see how much
younger you got.
So it's really a science behindit.

(31:02):
It's not just air.
It's not just air.
It's not just air.
It's not just air.
People say, okay, just oxygen, why not go in and breathe just
oxygen?
You cannot breathe more than21% of oxygen, but in the
machine you breathe 100%.
The way we deliver the oxygenand the pressure, and this is

(31:23):
what makes a big difference, because the oxygen goes in every
part of your body andespecially in your organ, your
brain, your heart, your liver, your lungs, and it really
expands and regenerates not onlythe tissue and the nerves and
the ligaments and the neurons, but it really regenerates

(31:44):
everything.
It's really what we call thenatural nutrient.
The holistic nutrient does itall and it looks like it's
selling, but it is what it is,and nobody is talking about
simplicity.
Everybody likes the complicatedof something that they see
instead of something how theyfeel, because to be connected

(32:06):
with you, I think we're frozen.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I think you're frozen .
