Do YOU have the gift of prophecy? Hospitality? Tongues? Preaching? Faith? Well, today we discuss exactly what the spiritual gifts are and why they’re absolutely essential to the body of Christ. We were created to be dependent on the Holy Spirit and interdependent upon other believers – which is how the true Christian church is supposed to operate. Each set of gifts found in the scripture passages below is given for distinctive reasons -- for ministry, for empowerment, and for equipping fellow Christians. We cover what happens when all the Christians in a church are operating in their spiritual giftings -- and what happens if they aren't!
