of the Author Revolution podcastare going to be dropping
(00:48):
monthly, on the third Wednesdayof each month to be specific.
One packed episode every monthdesigned to help you elevate
your author career.
And let me tell you, today'sepisode is a game changer.
We're going to be diving intohow ChatGPT can transform your
author marketing in 2025,especially if we're facing the
(01:08):
uncertain future of platformslike TikTok or navigating the
evolving landscape of bookpromotion.
Ai tools like ChatGPT are nolonger just helpful.
Honestly.
They're really essential formaking the most of your time,
creativity and your reach.
So today I'm sharing five ofthe most powerful action-packed
chat GPT prompts from my new PDF50 Must have Chat GPT Prompts
(01:31):
to Market your Author Career in2025.
These are more than justprompts, they're full-on
strategies.
So if you're ready to marketlike a pro, grab a notebook
because you're going to want tojot these down.
Of course, if you'd prefer tohave them ready to copy and
paste, head over toauthorrevolutionorg forward
slash 268 to download the fulllist.
(01:52):
So let's dive in.
Imagine having the world'sgreatest book marketer in your
corner.
That's the kind of power we'retalking about when we're using
ChatGPT strategically.
This is something that I'vebeen doing for over let's see, a
year and a half, two years now,and I can tell you right now
that ChatGPT has revolutionizedhow I do business.
(02:15):
So here are five juicy promptsto get you thinking bigger and
making a bigger impact on yourauthor career, which is
obviously something that we allwant in 2025, right?
So this first one is going tobe all about your backlist like
spotting your backlist.
So the prompt is plan a 30-daybacklist spotlight campaign to
(02:35):
reintroduce my older books toreaders.
Include weekly blog themes, daily email suggestions, reader
incentives and partnerships withinfluencers or reader groups.
Now, this prompt is a goldminefor authors who feel like their
older titles aren't gettingenough love.
I mean, especially when you'vegot a lot of books.
This happens to a lot of us,right?
So with ChatGPT, you can createa detailed plan that revives
(02:59):
those books, connects them tonew readers and re-engages your
loyal fans.
So imagine a month-longcampaign with weekly blog posts
comparing your older titles tocurrent trends, daily emails
featuring snippets or reviews, special discounts or bundles
Like the sky is literally thelimit.
So when you pair that with acreative reader incentive like a
(03:20):
giveaway or sharing theirfavorite quotes from your
backlist, you've got a recipefor renewed revenue and it's so,
so good.
Plus, it kind of helpsrevitalize your interest in your
work.
I don't know about you, but Itend to forget about the books
that I've written once they'redone.
I think that's an ADHD thing.
Object impermanence is a thing, and so it kind of like just
(03:43):
floats into the ether and I kindof forget about anything,
except for the thing I'mcurrently working on.
And so, if that's you too, thiscan definitely help you get
more excited about all of yourwork and help readers find you
get excited and do all thethings Okay.
Number two this is a pre-launchpower move.
Okay, the prompt that I wantyou to write down is create a
(04:06):
detailed six-week pre-launchstrategy for my upcoming book.
Give it the title that buildsexcitement and maximizes
pre-orders.
Include ideas for teasers, early reader outreach and buzz
building activities.
If you want to get even morespecific, you can let it know
more information about what kindof readers you're looking for,
(04:27):
or you can let it know the genre, that sort of thing, because
all of that's going to helpChatGPT to be able to give you a
much more potent strategy.
Pre-launch is where the magichappens, and this prompt helps
you go beyond the basics andbuild serious anticipation for
your book.
So think teaser campaigns withcliffhanger excerpts, early ARC
distribution to generate buzz, and even a countdown email
(04:50):
series with behind the scenescontent.
Chatgpt could help youbrainstorm engaging visuals,
hashtags and partnerships toamplify your reach.
It is a game changer, I kid you, not All right.
Number three celebrate yourbook's anniversary.
So you can ask ChatGPT to dothis prompt.
(05:10):
Design a seven-day campaign tocelebrate my book's anniversary,
including interactive readerpolls, personal antidotes and
community engagement.
And obviously, if you wantpersonal antidotes and it
doesn't have that information, you can also ask it to ask you
questions about your book sothat you can provide those
(05:31):
personal antidotes and that willhelp ChatGPT to be able to give
even more details.
Where you don't have to, youknow, create them yourself if
you don't want to.
So book anniversaries, I think, for me are really a great reason
to connect with your audienceagain.
And I don't know about you, butwhen I first wrote my very
first book, you know, october10th is like emblazoned in my
(05:53):
mind.
I know that that's the day thatthat particular book, my first
ever book, came out, and whilesome of my other books kind of
have faded into like obscuritywhen it comes to dates, I
remember that first one withouta doubt.
But you can also have, you know, a list, keep a list of when
everything was published, sothat you can look forward to
(06:13):
those dates, and ChachiPT canhelp you create a week-long
celebration, like I said, withinteractive polls about favorite
characters or moments behindthe scenes, stories about how
the book came to life which iswhat you'd be providing and even
a themed giveaway.
Right, it's not just aboutpromoting your book and getting
people to purchase it, it'sabout creating a memorable
experience for your readers, andas readers, we love that kind
(06:37):
of thing.
We love to feel like we areenthralled into the worlds that
we start to love as we gothrough those books.
Number four let's build somedeeper connection.
So this prompt is really goingto help you with that reader
connection.
So get your pen ready.
Draft a three-month readerengagement strategy to deepen
(07:00):
connections in my readercommunity.
Include live events, polls, behind the scenes content and
exclusive perks.
And again, you can kind of goback and forth with it if you
want it to like learn somebehind the scenes content, or it
might even prompt you with justthis prompt to give you more
details about what could betalked about in those behind the
(07:21):
scenes content.
But a thriving reader communityis really one of the most
powerful tools for an author.
With this prompt, chad GPT canhelp you craft a quarter long
plan filled with interactivecontent like live Q&A sessions,
sneak peeks to your next projector even an exclusive short
story just for your group.
The deeper the connection, themore likely readers are to
(07:43):
champion your work, and I usethis all the time in Patreon.
There's so many fun ways that Ican, you know, come up with
cool short stories or mini fix.
I can come up with differenttypes of content all the time
because I'm using ChatGPT tohelp me build those connections,
and you should too.
Okay.
So number five your own customGPT assistant.
(08:03):
This is what I view this one as.
So the prompt is design a planto create a custom GPT that acts
as a virtual assistant for myreaders, answering questions
about my books and makingpersonalized recommendations.
So this one is futuristic andforward thinking.
So imagine having a custom aiassistant on your website that
(08:26):
engages readers, recommendsbooks based on their preferences
and even shares fun facts aboutyour characters.
Not only does it make yourbrand feel cutting edge, but it
also builds an interactiveexperience readers are going to
talk about, so so good.
So if 2025 is the year that youwant to see real growth in your
author career, these prompts andthe strategies they inspire are
(08:49):
for you, from reigniting yourbacklist to launching a new book
like a pro.
The power of ChatGPT is in howyou use it.
The possibilities truly areendless and the ROI can be huge.
But here's the thing these arejust five prompts out of 50.

(09:58):
podcast episode there.
There you have it, guys.
This is our first episode outof the way.
I hope you enjoyed it.
I hope you're inspired to givethe ChatGPT prompts a try, and
you're going to be amazed.
You're going to love everythingthat it can do for you,
especially if you've been scaredor nervous to give it a whirl.
Or, you know, if you've dabbledin already and you're just not
(10:22):
thinking about how you canreally prompt ChatGPT.
This is going to be the one foryou.
And when we think about all thethings that are kind of going
sideways right now, you knowlike TikTok could possibly be
banned at the end of this week.
If it is, what are we going todo?
Are we going to continue tomarket through that platform?
(10:43):
Are we going to move on toother things and see what other
opportunities are available?
I know for me, speaking ofwhich, I will no longer be on
any of the meta platforms.
My pages, my Instagram andFacebook pages are going to
stick around, but I'm not goingto utilize them at all because I
just don't believe in theplatform anymore, and so I won't
be on those sites any longer.
I'll be switching over toNeptune when Neptune launches.
(11:06):
I am already at Blue Sky.
I am on Patreon and Substackfor Manifest Differently, so
there's a lot of different waysyou can still access me and find
me other than, obviously, thewebsite, but I just there's a
lot of change.
I see a lot of change and it'scoming through social media and
I think it's going to impact usas authors deeply.
(11:26):
So TikTok if it goes away, wedon't know what the landscape is
going to look like for gettingthe word out about our books in
a way that really feelsempowering to us yet, but
there's a lot of opportunity onthe horizon.
There's new things.
Like I said, neptune's on itsway.
It's not here yet.
It's supposed to be launchingthis spring.
They're trying to move up thedata as quickly as they can, but
(11:48):
we'll see what happens.
I love that it's a woman CEO,so ready to support that.
So just know that utilizingChatGPT whatever your direction
is for 2025, if you are going togive different social media
platforms a try, if you aregoing to look outside the box of
using social media, whatever itis, chatgpt can help you create
(12:11):
the strategy and the followthrough for it, and these
prompts are really going to helpwith that.
So, as always, I want to thankyou for listening, thank you for
being a part of this community, for being here for however long
, and I hope that this episodewas inspiring to you.
Good luck using chat.
You're going to love it and goforth and start your author
(12:34):
revolution.
Thank you.
