Carissa Andrews (00:05):
Welcome to the Author Revolution Podcast.
I'm Carissa Andrews, author andyour host here to help indie
authors like you master mindset, harness manifestation and
embrace cutting edge innovationto elevate your career.
Let's dive in.
Hey there, revolutionary authors, and welcome back to the Author

(00:27):
Revolution podcast.
I am super excited that you'rehere today, super excited to get
into this particular podcastepisode because, ooh, do I have
a doozy for you?
If you've been around here fora while, you already know that
I'm no stranger to ChatGPT.
In fact, over the past coupleof years, I've been diving deep
into how we, as indie authors, can use it, not only to boost

(00:48):
our creativity, do our outlines, that sort of thing, but we can
also use it to streamline andsupport our entire author
business.
And today, oh, we're going totake it one step further.
This week's episode is all aboutwhat's possible when you build
a custom chat GPT project, not acustom GPT.
Let me be clear this is aproject and this is one that

(01:10):
then becomes your personalassistant.
Sound intriguing?
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
I'm calling it your chat GPT PAand, trust me, this isn't just
another productivity hack.
It's about creating acentralized space that holds
everything you need for yourwriting life, from your
newsletter and social mediapreferences to your launch
strategy, personal energy cyclesand, yes, even things like your

(01:33):
human design or astrology.
If that's your jam, it'stotally mine, and so, of course,
my PA has this in it right Now.
This idea has been brewing fora while and it's the natural
next step in what's become afull series of masterclasses
I've created to help authors.
Help you, get the most out ofthis AI tool, whether you're a
total beginner or someone who'sbeen experimenting with it

(01:55):
already, and if you're ready toactually build this assistant
alongside me, I've got youcovered.
This Friday, june 20th, I'mhosting a brand new live
masterclass called ChatGPTPAyour AI-powered author assistant
where I'll walk you through howto set it all up step by step.
You can sign up by heading overto authorrevolutionorg forward

(02:16):
slash masterclasses and you'llsee the live class listed right
at the top.
But while you're there, take ascroll.
You'll also find the full vaultof previous masterclasses,
starting at just $11, because Ibelieve in making this kind of
support accessible and, let's behonest, we don't need more
gatekeeping in the indie authorworld.
Right, and there are plenty ofother ChatGPT masterclasses that

(02:37):
will build on, like theknowledge and everything that's
going into this particular class.
All right, so let's get intowhat your Chatuby TPA can
actually do for you and why itmight be the smartest addition
to your author business yet.
So, as you know through myprevious podcasts, through
things that we've talked aboutthrough the years, being an

(02:57):
indie author, it's a lot.
We have a lot of hats, a lot ofhats.
We're not just writing books.
We're planning launches, writing newsletters, posting on
social, managing ads, keepingtrack of timelines, building
relationships with readers, andsomewhere in all of that we're
supposed to still have time andenergy to create.
It's a lot to juggle, and ifyou've ever felt like you're

(03:19):
constantly switching hats,you're not alone.
That's why I started leaning onChatGPT more seriously in my
own author business.
It's part of the reason whyexperimenting with it was so
much fun.
Right At first, it was justlittle things like brainstorming
a newsletter or helping totweak some ad copy or outline my
book or give me someproductivity hacks for how I can

(03:40):
schedule my day.
But the more I used it, the moreI realized that this could be
something way, way bigger, especially as ChatGPT continued
to evolve over the years.
When custom GPTs came online, that was a next big step.
Now projects are the next thing, and this is just an absolute
total game changer.
So I want you to ponder thiswhat if ChatGPT wasn't just a

(04:04):
helper for one-off tasks, but areliable assistant that actually
knows how you run things, thatremembers your brand voice, your
writing schedule, your launchplans for the whole year or
beyond right, and can help youstay on top of everything.
That's where the idea of theChatGPT PA came from.
This isn't about replacingcreativity or outsourcing your

(04:26):
intuition.
It's also not saying that reallife PAs aren't something that
we should lean on, either.
This is about having a toolthat lightens your load or, if
you're just trying to reallyorganize your thoughts and keep
all of your own branding andinformation in one place, this
keeps all of those moving partsorganized so that you can focus
on the work that matters mostwriting those great stories and

(04:48):
connecting with your readers.
Because, let's be honest, mostof us aren't in a place to hire
that full-time assistant.
And even if we were, wouldn'tit be amazing to have something
custom built to your way ofworking, ready 24-7 and able to
evolve alongside of you?
Not only that you can use, butalso your assistant.
So that's what we're creatinghere, and in just a minute I'm

(05:11):
going to walk you throughexactly what kind of tasks this
assistant can handle for you, because I've been working with
this for a long time.
I've been tweaking it based onhow I want my day to start, the
kind of vibe I'm trying to gofor all of the things, and so
spoiler alert, it's probablymore than you think, but first I
just want to plant a littleseed.
Okay, you don't have to do yourauthor career, your writing,

(05:34):
all of it alone.
Okay, and if a tool like thiscan support your creative flow
and help you stay consistentwith your goals, it's worth
exploring.
This is not a scary tool.
It's not the big bad thatpeople were talking about in the
very beginning.
This tool is revolutionary, andif you're not using it, if
you're not implementing in someway, shape or form so that you

(05:55):
can understand how it works, you, my friend I'm so sorry to say
this, but you are going to fallbehind.
You don't have to use it forwriting.
You can use it for other things, but I encourage you and
implore you to start using it.
All right.
So let's talk about this goodstuff and what exactly your
ChatGPTPA can do for you, because once you start building

(06:17):
this out, it's not just abouthaving a place to toss random
prompts.
It becomes your centralizedgo-to hub for your entire author
career, and when I say that, Imean everything from the big
picture planning to thenitty-gritty daily tasks that
you don't want to have to dealwith or keep remembering.
So I mean, when you think aboutyour author career, think about
any of those repetitive thingsthat you do over and over, that

(06:38):
kind of just get on your nerves.
I'm not a person who likes todo repetition, so some things
just kind of drive me a littlebit bonkers, and so I like to
offload that information in away that I don't have to, number
one, repeat the task to chatGPT and, number two, I don't
have to really put a whole lotof thought back into doing a
certain thing.
So here's a snapshot of what'spossible and what we're going to

(07:00):
be talking about in thismasterclass on Friday.
Number one planning andorganization.
This is a huge thing, right?
Us authors we are creativebeings.
We're not always the mostorganized.
Not all of you are.
You know crazy double Virgoslike myself, right?
So imagine having your ownassistant who helps you plan
your week, organize your contentcalendar, track upcoming

(07:20):
launches and even remind you ofyour personal goals.
You can map it all out insideof your GPT project and revisit
it anytime, without diggingthrough a million Google Docs or
having your own calendar fullof all the things.
It will literally remember whatday it is of the week, of the
month, of the year, reference itbased off of your information

(07:41):
of what you're trying to do forthe year and remind you what
needs to get done this week.
It's pretty amazing.
Number two is email andnewsletter support.
So we've talked aboutnewsletters through a custom GPT
in one of my previousmasterclasses.
Now this is actually takingthat same concept and really
kind of putting it on steroids, because not only is it gonna

(08:03):
understand your newslettersupport and setup, it's gonna
understand your entire businessplan and your stories, support
and setup.
It's going to understand yourentire business plan and your
stories and everything else.
I mean it's going to reallynext level your newsletters.
So, whether you're feelingstuck on what to write this week
or just need help crafting asubject line that actually gets
clicks, your ChatGPT PA has gotyou right.
It can draft emails in yourvoice, help brainstorm engaging

(08:26):
content and even repurpose oldemails for new campaigns.
It will remember, like if youhave certain segments that you
do every single week.
It will remember the flow ofthe segments.
It will remember to prompt youwhat comes next, and you can
just continue to go through theentire thing.
It's amazing.
I use it all the time.

(08:46):
Okay, number three is socialmedia content creation.
I have been leaning so muchmore heavily on social media for
video, so I've been doing a lotof YouTube content and TikTok
content, right, and now I'm notdoing it so much for my books at
the moment, or AuthorRevolution.
I'm focusing on this newversion of myself.

(09:07):
This manifest differently a lotmore this year and putting more
emphasis and interest into thatside.
But here's the thing that youneed to know you can teach it
your preferred platforms, yourbrand tone and how often you
like to post.
It'll then help you draftcontent, brainstorm ideas or
even come up with fun seasonalcampaigns that match your vibe,

(09:28):
and you can also do that fornewsletters, too, right?
So, like, if you are writing anewsletter and you're completely
clueless on what to write about, you can just tap into the huge
store of information of whatChatGPT knows about the season,
about the energies, about, youknow, special holidays this
month, like, whatever it mightbe, chat's going to help you to
create some more engagingcontent, right?

(09:51):
So there's no more staring at ablank content calendar and not
taking action.
Not only can it help you createit and plan it, but it can help
you remember to implement it.
It's incredible.
Number four is creativebrainstorming.
Now, this one, obviously, is apersonal favorite of mine.
I've been teaching how to usecreative brainstorming, how to

(10:11):
use it for planning your seriesthrough the four books, five
days course, like.
We have all sorts of ways thatwe can use creative
brainstorming.
With ChatGPT, now, yourassistant can help you flesh out
plot ideas, character arcs, book titles, blurbs, taglines
you name it and because it's acustom GPT project, it can

(10:33):
remember your series, thedetails, genre, themes and even
your preferred tropes.
This gets very detailed.
It understands your businesslike it was your second brain.
I kid you not, it's amazing.
Your business like it was yoursecond brain.
I kid you not, it's amazing,okay.
Number five this one is a funone, okay.
So woo friendly personalization.
Now, if you're like me and youlike to work with astrology or

(10:56):
your human design or yourClifton strengths, any of these
things, any of your personalitypreferences Enneagram, you can
build that into Okay.
So if you want your assistantto remind you when Mercury is
about to go retrograde orsuggest launch dates that align
with your human design energy, you can absolutely do that, but,

(11:16):
of course, if it was not yourthing, you can go ahead and skip
that too.
It's all completelycustomizable.
It's up to you about what isimportant to your author career,
your business and how you wantit to be built, and the things
that you want ChatGPT to helpyou with.
And now number six is just toremember that this is your
career command center.

(11:36):
All of this lives in one place.
It's right there in a customGPT project.
So it's not a custom GPT, it'sa project.
It becomes a growing knowledgebase that learns your systems,
your voice and your preferences.
Whether you're writing your30th book or your second, it
scales with you and remembersthings, and what's great about
it is like you can put in yourPDFs, you can do information

(12:00):
about your books, you canbrainstorm things so that it
knows certain aspects about yourcharacter that no one else
knows.
There's so much that you can dohere, and so this project
becomes the command center of itall.
So the key thing here is thatit isn't a tool you have to
start over with every singletime.
This is your digital assistant.
It's tailored and trained andavailable when you need it, and,

(12:24):
yes, it takes a little bit ofthat setup, but once it's in
place, it is a game changer, andthe best part is like there's
so much that you can do here, and I'm going to show you
exactly how to do it in thisFriday's masterclass.
So if you're listening to all ofthis and thinking, okay, chris,
this sounds like exactly what Ineed, but I also need to know

(12:44):
how do I actually buildsomething like this, then, like
I said, you're in luck becausethis Friday, june 20th, I am
hosting a brand new livemasterclass called ChatGPTPA,
your AI-powered author assistant, and I'm going to walk you
through this entire setupprocess step by step.
This is your chance to build acustomized GPT project,

(13:05):
something that's not justhelpful once but becomes your
ongoing author businessassistant.
I'll show you how to input yourpreferences, organize your
systems and really train it tofunction the way that you work
best.
Okay, so, from content, calendars and character tracking
to tone of voice, energy cycleseverything's on the table.
So if you've got questions, Iencourage you to bring them.

(13:28):
But here's the thing thismasterclass isn't just another
watch and figure it out latersituation.
When you join the live session, you'll also get a chance to ask
questions, get real-timefeedback, like I said, and see
actual examples as we go live.
Later situation, when you jointhe live session, you'll also
get a chance to ask questions, get real-time feedback, like I
said, and see actual examples aswe go live.
I will show you what my customGPT project looks like.
So that's why the live class is$37, because you're not just

(13:49):
getting the training, you'realso getting direct access to me
as your guide during thesession.
But if that price point doesn'tquite work for you or if you
can't attend live, don't worry.
Every masterclass I runeventually lands on the
masterclass vault page and youcan access the replay there
starting at just $11.
This is a part of my what Ilike to call the area aligned

(14:09):
contribution model.
Now, if you don't know whatarea is, I encourage you to go
over to TikTok and this is themanifest differently,
tiktokifferently, tiktok, so atManifest Differently and see
what that was.
Because I channeled somethingpretty awesome about what a lot
of us who are feeling likemisaligned to money need to do
when it comes to shifting thevibe and calling in something

(14:30):
different, and so I channeledsomething that is all about a
different way of viewing money, and it's bigger than that.
But I want you to just get likea little hint about why I've
changed pricing models, aboutwhat has happened there and what
the heckery is.
Okay.
So this means that you can paywhat feels right and still get
the support that you need, okay.

(14:51):
So if you can only pay $11after the class is launched,
totally cool.
If you can pay more, thenyou're just helping other
authors be able to access thiscontent, because it is
supporting the entire communityand it's because knowledge
should be accessible, especiallyfor indie authors.
It should also be empowering.
No matter where you're at inyour author journey, there's

(15:12):
information here that is goingto absolutely change the game
for you and it could launch thetrajectory of your author career
into the stratosphere.
So, whether you're brand new toChatGPT or you've been using it
in bits and pieces, this classis designed to give you the
bigger picture and the practicalsteps to make it a real part of
your author business strategy.
There are other classes that gowith this.

(15:33):
If you have never done ChatGPTbefore, I encourage you to check
out the master classes forChatGPT, because they are going
to each build upon the other.
Last month's class, forinstance, was all about what's
the difference between a normalChatGPT conversation, a custom
GPT, and now the projects.
And as we move forward intothis particular class, I'm going

(15:56):
to at least assume to a certaindegree that you know what a
project is all right.
So to sign up for the livesession, like I said, or to
check out the other vault ofclasses available, just head
over to author revolution orgforward slash master classes.
Everything is right therewaiting for you.
They're pretty easy tounderstand which is which
they're color-coded if, if youwant mindset and manifestation,

(16:19):
they're either pink or white.
If you were looking forstrategy or chat GPT, they are
either green or black.
Okay, it's very easy to seewho's teaching the class because
each image has the teacherfront and center and honestly, I
think you're going to lovewhat's possible with this
particular class.
To know what an assistant can dofor you once it's up and
running class.

(16:39):
To know what an assistant cando for you once it's up and
running, okay.
So here's the bottom line inall of this you don't need to
keep doing all of this alone.
The indie author path isincredible, but it is also at
times overwhelming, especiallywhen you're neurodivergent or
you're trying to manageeverything from writing and
publishing to marketing andconnecting with those readers
right.
Tools like ChatGPT aren't hereto replace your creativity.

(17:00):
They're here to support it, togive you more mental space, more
flow and, yes, even a littlemore joy in the process.
So building your ChatGPT PA islike investing in a smarter,
more streamlined way to run yourauthor business, one that's
aligned with how you work andthat grows with you over time.
And, honestly, it's one of themost empowering things I've done

(17:23):
for myself in the last fewyears, and I can't wait to show
you how to do it too.
I mean, I'm not just an author.
I do a lot of different things, and so it understands the gamut
of all that I do.
So if you're ready to buildyours, head over to
authorrevolutionorg forwardslash masterclasses, to join the
live session or browse thevault of replays.

(17:43):
Whether you're signing up forthis Friday's class or checking
out one of the earlier sessions, there's something there that
can help you take the next stepswith clarity and confidence.
And, of course, if you want thefull show notes and all the
links mentioned today, you canalso find everything over at
authorrevolutionorg forwardslash 273.
Until next time, keep writing, keep dreaming big and remember

(18:07):
you are not alone in this.
You've got the tools, you'vegot support and you've got the
power to shape your authorcareer in a way that truly,
truly works for you.
So go forth and start yourauthor revolution.
Thank you.
