Dr. (Hon) Charmène Vega is known as Mama Vega, a name affectionately given to her by her students. She is a fourth-generation nutritionist who was honored to cater to the United States State Department sub-committee on Health and Wellness (Washington DC).

Prior to going into special education, behavior therapy, and nutrition, she was a pre-med major and has structured her company into an Enterprise that embodies all the specialties she learned and practices for over forty-plus years.

Dr. (Hon) Vega is known for giving back to organizations throughout the Antelope Valley, Los Angeles, and Kern counties as well as on the East Coast. She is now a member of the National Small Business Association and on the Leadership Council.

She has authored a cookbook, “Now, Chew On This…keeping health in mind“, and is a featured writer in the Internationally Award Winning book, “Overcomers, Redeemed Masterpiece“. She now collaborates with the Comeback Champion and Real Champions League organizations.

As a Functional Nutrition/Dietician Coach, under Choices N Nutrition, she has created a Tandem Eating Program for her Spectrum Eating clients that have produced evidenced-based positive astonishing lifestyle changes. Currently, she is working with clients to boost their immune systems to prevent and mitigate health concerns and underlying conditions that could potentially impede healing.

She makes sure to emphasize to all clients that she is not practicing medicine and recommends everyone checks with their primary care provider for any medical treatment.
